Tue May 30 202318:11Tyler Herro Targeting Game 3 To Return To The Floor
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) is progressing in his rehab and ramping up workouts as he's now expected to make his return at some point during the NBA Finals. Chris Haynes of TNT and Bleacher Report reports that the targeted date would be Game 3 if everything goes according to plan. Herro hasn't played since fracturing his hand during the first game of the postseason on April 16. After struggling to score in the three games the team lost to the Boston Celtics, getting back one of their top scorers would be a tremendous help against the powerhouse Denver Nuggets.

Sat May 27 202300:43Tyler Herro Remains Out For Game 6
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) will remain out for Saturday's critical playoff bout versus the Celtics. The 23-year-old hasn't played since Game 1 of the series against the Milwaukee Bucks. However, he was recently cleared for non-contact basketball activities and has been shooting, meaning there's a chance he could be back for the NBA Finals, assuming the Heat advance. But until Herro returns, Duncan Robinson, averaging 11.5 points and shooting 45.4% from deep during this season, will continue to benefit.

Thu May 25 202313:38Tyler Herro Is Not Even Close To Returning
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) did get his cast removed and has been cleared for basketball activities but he still has a long way to go to return to game action. As reported by Will Manso on Bally Sports, Herro still needs to do a lot of strengthening for his hand and just got back to dribbling a basketball. The NBA Finals starts in just one more week which means Herro could only come back if the series goes more than four games, and even that is a stretch. His progress will be closely monitored though.

Tue May 23 202319:01Tyler Herro Cleared For Basketball Activity, No Timetable To Return
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) has been cleared to resume basketball activities, but there is still no timetable for his return to the court. Herro broke his right hand in the first game of this year's playoffs and remains out until further notice. Herro has been making progress, however, and is set to resume non-contact basketball activities this week. With Miami on the brink of the NBA Finals, it is possible for Herro to be back in time assuming they finish the series. Duncan Robinson and Gabe Vincent have seen increased roles with Herro out, but Herro would likely be eased in if he is able to return.

Mon May 22 202320:38Tyler Herro Continues Making Progress
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) is reportedly making progress, but remains without a timetable to return. The 23-year-old broke multiple fingers on his right hand during Game 1 of the first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. He underwent surgery and was ruled out for six weeks. That being said, he'll likely still be out for at least another week or so. Head coach Erik Spoelstra mentioned Herro was doing better and he'll give an update on his status soon. It sounds possible that Herro is able to get back on the court before the postseason is over.

Tue May 16 202310:53Tyler Herro Not Close To Returning
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) won't be available for the start of the Eastern Conference Finals against Boston, with head coach Erik Spoelstra saying that the 23-year-old sniper still can't shoot or dribble. Herro broke multiple fingers on his right hand in Game 1 of the first-round series against Milwaukee. He was ruled out for six weeks after surgery, so Herro will need around two more weeks to recover, and this means that the Heat guard will likely have to miss another round of action.

Sat Apr 22 202300:39Tyler Herro Undergoes Successful Surgery
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) underwent surgery on Friday to repair two metacarpal bones in his right hand. He suffered the injury in the Game 1 win over the Bucks and is expected to be on the shelf for at least six weeks. The 23-year-old finished the 2022-23 campaign by averaging 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting 37.7% from deep. However, with Herro now out of commission, Duncan Robinson, who finished Game 2 with 14 points in 26 minutes as a starter, may continue to benefit. At the same time, Victor Oladipo, who had 15 points in the same contest from off the bench, will also be a popular DFS option for Game 3 on Saturday night.

Tue Apr 18 202316:29The Earliest Tyler Herro Could Return Would Be The NBA Finals
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) is set to undergo hand surgery on Friday to repair his broken fingers and will be out for four-to-six weeks. Herro, himself, said that the earliest he would be able to return would probably be the NBA Finals. If this was the old first-seed Miami Heat, that wouldn't be too terrible. The issue is that they'll have a very tough road to making the Finals without their third-leading scorer on the floor. Kyle Lowry, Gabe Vincent, and Max Strus are going to see a lot of minutes with someone like Duncan Robinson or Victor Oladipo seeing more opportunities off of the bench.

Sun Apr 16 202322:56Tyler Herro Will Miss At Least Four Weeks
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) will officially be sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks as he deals with a broken middle and ring finger on his shooting hand. The 23-year-old was forced to exit Game 1 on Sunday after he was holding his hand in pain. Now that the x-rays have come back and confirm the broken fingers, he'll start his recovery which could bring him back if the Heat somehow make it all the way to the Conference Finals or Finals. Kyle Lowry, Victor Oladipo, and maybe even Duncan Robinson will see increased playing time moving forward.

Sun Apr 16 202319:19Tyler Herro Suffers Broken Hand In Game 1
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hand) suffered a broken right hand in the Game 1 matchup against Milwaukee. The Bucks had lost Giannis Antetokounmpo earlier in the contest. Unfortunately, it appears the Heat will also navigate through at least the remainder of Game 1 without one of their top scorers. Herro may be done for the rest of the postseason, although an update should come within the next day or so. In the meantime, Duncan Robinson, who started the second half, may finally get some playing time. But it's also possible Victor Oladipo gets more involved.

Tue Apr 11 202322:36Tyler Herro Drops 26 Points Versus Atlanta
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro finished with 26 points in the play-in loss to Atlanta. He also had six boards and two steals. Unfortunately, the reigning Sixth Man of the Year had issues finding the bottom of the net, ending the night by going 12-for-23 from the field and 2-for-9 from deep. That said, fantasy managers are used to Herro's seesaw-like production. However, his upside is higher than most, so he'll still be an appealing DFS option against the winner of Wednesday's matchup between the Raptors and Bulls.

Fri Apr 7 202315:44Bam Adebayo And Tyler Herro Both Resting On Friday
Miami Heat starters Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro round out the resting days for the big three as the team will change directions to resting their players ahead of the play-in tournament instead of banking on the Orlando Magic beating the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. Since their big three need to play heavy minutes, it's probably a smarter move to rest them after a long, injury-filled season. Fantasy managers will need to look toward Gabe Vincent, Victor Oladipo, and Cody Zeller for some fantasy production.

Fri Apr 7 202311:15Tyler Herro Scores 24 Points In Big Win Over Philadelphia
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro shared the scoring lead in this game with teammate Jimmy Butler as they blew out the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 129-101. The Kentucky product finished with 24 points on 7-for-17 shooting with five assists, four rebounds, and one steal. He also knocked down five of his eight three-point attempts. Herro is another starter that will continue to play as long as the Heat remain in the race for the sixth seed against the Brooklyn Nets. Fantasy managers with Heat starters on their team might want to cheer for some Brooklyn losses.

Wed Mar 29 202310:49Tyler Herro Drops 33 Points In Losing Effort
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was one of just two players on the team to post double digits in the scoring column as they suffered a 106-92 loss to the Toronto Raptors. He ended the game with 33 points, three rebounds, and six assists while shooting 13-for-21 from the floor and 6-for-10 from three. Herro is performing right around where he was expected to in fantasy leagues as he's ranked 69th in nine-category leagues. His three-point shooting has been his biggest plus, but everyone is still waiting for him to improve outside of just scoring.

LeBron James Injury Update

James injured his right foot during the third quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was a tense few seconds after the multi-time MVP clutched his foot after suffering what was deemed a "non-contact injury." The concern grew to greater heights after he was overheard saying, "I heard a pop." Situations like this are never good, as many were concerned that an Achilles tear could be the culprit.https://twitter.com/FanDuelTV/status/1630602449227595777?s=20Yet, after James gathered himself, he tightened his shoe and finished the game, totaling 26 points, eight rebounds, one block, and one steal. Head coach Darvin Ham appeared optimistic while speaking postgame, stating the 38-year-old was "good."However, that couldn't be further from the case, with The Athletic's Shams Charania reporting that James would "miss an extended period of time" because of the foot injury. Charania later added that the all-time scoring leader would "require multiple opinions."https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1630363560051187712?s=20

LeBron James' Season Recap

Despite James' advanced NBA age, he's still productive. In 47 appearances, he's averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. While his three-point percentage has regressed, that's never been his strong suit.James was also named an All-Star captain while recently passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to become the NBA's all-time scoring leader.https://twitter.com/NBAonTNT/status/1623184801284104192?s=20That said, despite some high-level accomplishments, the year has been a rough one for the 2003 No. 1 overall pick. He's battled left foot soreness for nearly the entire season, so much so that he routinely carried some type of injury designation heading into almost all of his games over the last few months.... Mon Feb 27 202318:17Tyler Herro Upgraded To Available
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (rib) has been upgraded to available for Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He was listed as questionable coming into the day, but appears good to go after getting through shootaround without any issues. He should continue to start, which means Max Strus is expected to come off the bench. Kyle Lowry (knee) remains out, which should mean increased scoring chances for Herro. Fantasy managers should make sure he's in their lineups for Monday.

Mon Feb 27 202314:08Tyler Herro Participates In Shootaround
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (rib) was able to participate in Monday's pregame shootaround. He remains listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the fact that Herro was able to get through shootaround is a good sign that he'll be able to play. The Heat are still without Kyle Lowry (knee), so Herro will still have increased scoring chances. His absence would mean a bigger role for Max Strus, so he'd be worth looking at with an extended role. Fantasy managers will have to check back closer to tip-off for more information.

Sun Feb 26 202318:53Tyler Herro Questionable To Play Monday
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (hip) is listed as questionable for Monday's game versus the Philadelphia 76ers. Herro is dealing with a rib contusion and may miss a game due to the injury. Herro just came back from a lengthy absence due to a knee injury, so at least this is not a reinjury. If Herro is unable to go, Max Strus, Duncan Robinson and Victor Oladipo should all be in line for more minutes.
