Any time Tiago Splitter is out, Diaw is a decent spot start in fantasy. But he's disappeared at times this season and he's likely to do so again. Diaw is hot with Splitter hurting, and is averaging 13.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.8 3-pointers over his last four games.

If he's on waivers in your league, there's a reason for it, as he scored five or fewer points in three of his four games from Jan. 29 to Feb. 6, which included a flu-DNP. But over his last three, Diaw is playing well again, averaging 14.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists and a 3-pointer. Of course, his hot streak includes missed games for Tiago Splitter, and once Splitter is back in action, it will be tough to trust Diaw to play well consistently.

Yes, Tiago Splitter is due back in the near future, but Diaw can also play both forward spots (Leonard) and even some shooting guard (Ginobili).

He was charged with the unenviable task of guarding LeBron James today and wasn't too shabby in the role. Diaw has turned in three consecutive productive games with Kawhi Leonard out of the lineup and deserves to be owned in standard leagues.

It's never easy to count on Gregg Popovich, but there is just too much opportunity for Diaw. He's a bit of a low-ceiling player, but he's worth a look in standard leagues with all the injuries for San Antonio.
