A recent MRI revealed an abnormality in the left meniscus that Lin tore back in 2012. He may only need rest to address the issue, but even if that's the case, the Lakers have no incentive to bring him back for another game or two. Jabari Brown and Wes Johnson should get all the minutes they can handle over the final three games, with Dwight Buycks also a key part of the rotation. The knee issue couldn't have cropped up at a worse time for Lin, who is set to become a free agent this summer.
