Lin "should be good to go" for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Mark Medina of the L.A Daily News reports.

Lin labored through back spasms during Thursday's loss to Utah, finishing with two points and four rebounds over 22 minutes. Having two full days off prior to Sunday's game should allow Lin to be healthy against Philadelphia.

Lin said Friday that he expects to be back to 100 percent by Saturday, the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Lin played through back spasms Thursday against the Jazz and was limited during Friday's practice. However, he said he'll get back to full speed work Saturday in advance of Sunday's matchup with the 76ers. "I'm not moving fast, but I don't need to," Lin said. "I'll be 100 percent tomorrow for sure."

Lin (back) came off the bench for 22 minutes in Thursday's game against the Jazz. He finished with two points, one rebound, four assists, three steals, and one block.

Lin actually had a well-rounded game despite entering Thursday's contest with some back problems. His value is still limited to deeper leagues until he moves into the starting lineup for the final 10 games of the season as coach Byron Scott suggests he will.

If this news from coach Byron Scott does come to fruition, Lin will take the reigns March 30th against the 76ers. It seems that Scott is still evaluating his players and what they can do in the long-term so Lin may ultimately see the lion's share of minutes in the final stretch of the season despite the fact that rookie Jordan Clarkson has done an admirable as the starter thus far.

Lin (thigh) had a solid outing against the Knicks on Thursday as he posted 14 points, two rebounds, seven assists, and one block in 22 minutes off the bench.

Lin came into Thursday's game with a minor thigh injury but was able to overcome whatever agitation he was dealing with to play his expected role off the bench. As for now it seems that Jordan Clarkson has the starting point guard spot on lock, so Lin will likely continue to see limited minutes off the bench in the final five weeks of the season.

Lin was held out of Wednesday's session due to a minor thigh injury, but coach Byron Scott confirmed at Thursday's shootaround that the point guard will be available off the bench. Lin has been on a tear since the All-Star break ended, and he continued his impressive play Tuesday, finishing with a game-high 23 points (9-16 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go with six rebounds, eights assists, two steals, and one block in 30 minutes off the bench.

In his last six games, Lin has averaged 18.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers in 28 minutes per game off the bench. The Lakers appear deadset on bringing Lin off the bench the rest of the season, but this recent surge from Lin doesn't appear to be a fluke. If he's available in any standard leagues, Lin is a great player to take a flier on for the next week. The one thing to watch out for is Nick Young (knee) stealing Lin's shots when he returns from injury sometime in the next week.

Lin has been extremely disappointing of late, averaging just 10.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.0 steals over the last five games. He's apparently stuck on the bench for the time being, even with Kobe Bryant (shoulder) out for the season. Although he has some upside when he's getting minutes, for now, Lin should be used in deeper leagues only.

Lin is dealing with gastroenteritis but expects to play against the Cavaliers on Sunday, Kevin Ding of Bleacher Report reports.

Lin is playing backup duty in Los Angeles these days as the rookie Jordan Clarkson enjoys the bulk of minutes at point guard. Over the last three games, Lin is averaging 25.3 minutes on the court and seems to be in line for a similar total despite his stomach issues ahead of tipoff.

Lin was back in action Sunday after being a DNP-Coach's Decision for Friday's game. He put up 14 points (2-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-14 FT) and six assists in 28 minutes off the bench against the Rockets.

Coach Byron Scott is giving rookie Jordan Clarkson a look as the Lakers' starting point guard, but if Clarkson continues to struggle, Scott's hand might be forced to play Lin big minutes. While Clarkson is the more intriguing long-term play on the Lakers, Lin is the more seasoned player, so it wouldn't be surprising if Lin steals the starting job, or at least plays more minutes most nights.

Lin did not play Friday against the Spurs, but was healthy and available to play.

Coach Byron Scott shook up the starting lineup, moving rookie Jordan Clarkson into the starting lineup, bumping Ronnie Price to the backup role and seemingly leaving no minutes for Lin. It seemed a strange move considering Lin had just had a double-double starting for Price on Monday. It remains to be seen if this is a permanent move, but obviously Lin's value takes a significant hit if he is reduced to the third string role.

Lin returned to a reserve role in Wednesday's loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, finishing with seven points (2-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, four steals and a blocked shot in 21 minutes.

Lin returned to a bench role, as Ronnie Price moved into the starting lineup after missing two games with an elbow injury. Lin recorded 30 minutes in both of those starts, but played only 21 minutes as a reserve Wednesday. He should record between 20-25 minutes moving forward. Lin continues to provide steals for fantasy owners, combining for nine over his last three games, but otherwise will offer only a marginal amount of points and assists, meaning he's mostly worth a look in deeper leagues.

Lin will return to a bench role Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times' Mike Bresnahan reports.

Despite coming off a game where he had 10 assists as a fill-in for Ronnie Price (elbow), Lin will head back to the bench and a lesser role now that Price is ready to return.

Lin returned to the starting lineup Sunday against the Suns and posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists. He added three rebounds and three steals in 31 minutes of action.

Lin had been coming off the bench for most of the season, and it's unclear whether or not he'll retain his starting status. Kobe Bryant (rest) sat for this performance, but there's a chance Lin can hold onto a starting spot over teammate Wayne Ellington (nine points, 22 minutes).

Lin will get the start Monday against the Suns, reports.

With Ronnie Price (elbow) sidelined another game, Lin will remain in the starting lineup. He struggled in 30 minutes against the Jazz on Friday, scoring just six points on 3-of-10 shooting. However, he's enjoying an efficient month, posting averages of 11.7 points and 3.2 assists while shooting a hair under 47 percent from the floor. By comparison, he shot a paltry 35.7 percent in December.

Lin, who started in place of Ronnie Price (nose) Friday, scored only six points (3-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and had three assists in 30 minutes as the Lakers lost to the Jazz.

Owners who used Lin in daily leagues were burned, considering Kobe Bryant (rest) was also out for this game. Lin did try to take a good number of shots, but showed why Price had taken the starting job from him in the first place. As soon as Price is healthy, Lin will likely move back to the bench, making him only a deep fantasy option.
