Preston Guilmet is being recalled by the Indians.

Cleveland's bullpen covered 6 1/3 innings of Wednesday's 14-inning loss to the Tigers, so Guilmet will provided needed depth in middle relief. The 26-year-old righty has a 1.76 ERA in 55 1/3 frames this season at Triple-A.

Guilmet was given the boot to clear a roster spot for Danny Salazar, who will make his major league debut in a spot start Thursday afternoon against the Blue Jays. Guilmet retired both batters he faced during his short stay in the major leagues. He'll be back up later.
