Tue Mar 3 201518:45LeSean McCoy: Traded To Bills
McCoy has been traded to Buffalo in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
McCoy would have represented nearly a $12 million cap hit for the Eagles in 2015, but they'll instead ship him out of town in a move that significantly bolsters their defense. The 26-year-old back was commonly one of the top-2 players taken in standard fantasy drafts in 2014, but didn't really live up to that ADP, rushing for 1,319 yards and recording just five combined touchdowns. His projected fantasy value takes a bit of a hit in Buffalo, where a slower-paced team will mean less opportunities for touches. On the bright side, C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson are both on expiring contracts, so McCoy may be able to earn the elusive title of "feature" back. He'll still have to hold off Anthony Dixon and former teammate Bryce Brown for touches, however.

McCoy (undisclosed) is excused from participating in the Pro Bowl, Philly.com reports.
McCoy suffered a minor knee tweak in Philadelphia's season finale, but that's not confirmed to be the reason why he's sitting out the Pro Bowl. No matter what the technical reason for his absence, McCoy likely isn't dealing with an injury of any substantive sort. If he simply didn't feel like participating in the Pro Bowl, he'd be far from the first to look for a way out.

McCoy said Monday that tests on his injured left knee came back negative, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.
The knee injury McCoy suffered Sunday does not appear to be serious, so it should next affect his offseason workouts as he prepares for the 2015 season.

McCoy had 17 carries for 99 yards and one catch for 15 yards in Sunday's victory over the Giants. He left the game late in the fourth quarter with a left knee injury.
McCoy was able to walk off the field under his own power and was moving around fairly well on the sidelines, so this doesn't seem like an injury that will linger deep into the offseason. McCoy started slow in 2014, but he got going eventually, finishing with 1,319 rushing yards, 155 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He should again be a first-round pick in most fantasy leagues in 2015.

McCoy suffered a left knee injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Giants and is questionable to return, the Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports.
With only a few minutes remaining and no playoff appearance on tap for the Eagles, this may be it for McCoy in 2014. Darren Sproles and Chris Polk will handle the rushing duties with McCoy out.

McCoy had 22 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's loss to Washington. He added three receptions for 28 yards.
McCoy's total of 116 yards was his highest mark since the Eagles' Thanksgiving blowout of the Cowboys. It wasn't enough to prevent the Eagles from dropping a third straight game, but fantasy owners in championship games this week should be pleased with his output. In leagues that play in Week 17, McCoy should be a strong play against the Giants' 30th-ranked run defense.

McCoy gained 64 yards on 16 carries, adding one reception for one yard on two targets, in Sunday's 38-27 loss to the Cowboys.
The Cowboys dominated possession and held a lead for most of the game, which served to limit McCoy's touches. It was an incredibly frustrating night for the Pro Bowl running back's owners, as Chris Polk and Darren Sproles combined for three rushing touchdowns of five yards or less. Sproles' touchdown came one play after McCoy was stopped just shy of the goal line on a carry off left end that looked like it would go for an easy score. McCoy eased up a bit as he approached the end zone, and was then bounced out of bounds by a Dallas defender. He'll look to bounce back next week, though a matchup with the Redskins seems to favor Philadelphia's passing game.

McCoy had 17 carries for 50 yards and lost a fumble in Sunday's 24-14 loss to Seattle. He was not targeted as a pass catcher.
McCoy's fumble in the first minute of the third quarter was critical, as it directly led to a 15-yard touchdown pass by Russell Wilson. The Eagles had the ball for only 18 minutes, so McCoy was actually lucky to get such a big workload on the ground, although he once again was not involved in the passing game. Next week, McCoy will face the Cowboys in a huge NFC East matchup.

McCoy is active for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
There was never any real doubt here, but just in case you were looking for confirmation about McCoy's status after he was excused from Friday's practice for personal reasons: here it is. McCoy is active and ready to go.

McCoy was excused from Friday's practice for personal reasons but is not listed on the Eagles' official injury report.
We'll keep an ear to the ground in case this absence develops into an issue that could potentially keep him out of Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks, but right now there is no reason to doubt his Week 14 status.
Thu Nov 27 201420:34LeSean McCoy: Big Game On Turkey Day
McCoy ran 25 times for a season-high 159 yards and a touchdown in Thursday's victory over the Cowboys.
McCoy gashed the Cowboys for a couple long runs and tallied his fourth 100-yard game of the season. He has had his share of struggles this season, but he is getting hot just when fantasy owners really need him, running for 289 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks.

McCoy had 21 carries for 130 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's blowout win over the Titans. He caught his lone target for one yard.
It looked like it wasn't going to be McCoy's day, as Darren Sproles scored from four yards out early in the first quarter. McCoy took charge from there, however, finishing with his second highest rushing total of the season. On a negative note, McCoy continues to be a forgotten man in the passing game, with exactly one reception in each of the last four contests. In any event, he'll get the Cowboys in Week 13 on Thanksgiving Day.

McCoy had 23 carries for 88 yards and caught his lone target for 18 yards in Sunday's 53-20 loss at Green Bay.
McCoy posted better numbers than last week, when he had 13 carries for just 19 yards, but fantasy owners are probably not impressed. Whether it's the presence of Darren Sproles or something else, McCoy has not been used much as a receiver, especially lately, catching 12-of-16 targets for 46 yards over the last eight games. He's got a great matchup next week, facing a Titans' defense that has not been able to stop opposing RBs this season.

McCoy had 13 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown, with one reception for a two-yard loss, in Monday's 45-21 win over the Panthers.
The Eagles couldn't get anything going on the ground, and they didn't really give it much effort until they were up big in the second half. McCoy was oddly still getting early in the fourth quarter, though Chris Polk closed things out when it really got down to garbage time. Darren Sproles only had one carry, but the speedy veteran made it a frustrating one for McCoy's owners, scoring from eight yards out. It's surprising that the Eagles couldn't run against the Carolina defense, though again worth mentioning that they barely tried. Next week's matchup should favor the running game, as the Packers have been fantastic against the pass this season.
Thu Nov 6 201417:46LeSean McCoy: Avoids Injury Report
McCoy wasn't listed on the Eagles' injury report Thursday, the team's official site reports.
McCoy missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but the Eagles weren't required to release an injury report with a Monday night contest on tap. Thus, a fantasy landmine was avoided, and owners can keep the running back in their lineups, as they normally would. While his opponent Sunday, the Dolphins, has yielded just 3.8 YPC to running backs this season, they've allowed seven total touchdowns to the position through eight games.
Wed Nov 5 201413:48LeSean McCoy: Sits Out Wednesday Due To Illness
McCoy didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Fortunately, the Eagles have an extra day of prep with a Monday night tilt on tap against the Panthers, thereby allowing McCoy sufficient time to recover. Nevertheless, he's expected to practice in some capacity Thursday, when the first injury report of the week will establish his Week 10 availability.

McCoy (undisclosed) didn't appear to take part in the portion of Wednesday's practice open to the media, Geoff Mosher of CSN Philadelphia reports.
The reason for McCoy's potential absence is unknown, but perhaps he's receiving a veteran's day off in order to keep his health intact. After averaging 22.5 carries over the last four games, the rest is likely a welcome relief, if an injury isn't the culprit.

McCoy had 23 carries for 117 rushing yards and two catches on two targets for six receiving yards Sunday against the Texans.
After a fairly tough start to the season, McCoy has been heavily used over the last four games, averaging 22.5 carries for 107.5 yards, though he has now gone six straight games without a touchdown. Starting quarterback Nick Foles suffered a shoulder injury in the game, and if backup Mark Sanchez is forced to start Week 10 against the Panthers, the team could turn to an even heavier workload for McCoy against a Carolina defense allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game this season, while allowing the second-most rushing touchdowns.
Sun Oct 26 201420:48McCoy had 21 carries for 83 yards in Sunday's loss at Arizona
McCoy had 21 carries for 83 yards in Sunday's loss at Arizona. He also had three receptions on five targets for 14 yards.
McCoy nearly had a short touchdown late in the game, but got stuffed around the goal line, and finished with modest numbers. After a slow start to the season, McCoy owners thought he had turned things around with a 149-yard game before Philadelphia's bye, but to be fair, Arizona boasts one of the best rushing defenses in the league. On a positive note, McCoy posted his third straight game of 20 or more carries. Next week, McCoy should have an easier task, facing a Texans' defense that has been average against the run this year.

McCoy gained 149 yards on 22 carries and five yards on two receptions in Sunday's 27-0 win over the Giants.
McCoy came out of the gates fast and furious, burning the Giants for gains of 12 and 18 on the first drive of the game. He piled up 139 rushing yards in the first three quarters, but it was Darren Sproles who scampered in from 15 yards out for the night's only rushing touchdown. Sproles, who suffered a knee injury at the end of the third quarter, finished his night with a 7-39-1 rushing line but didn't catch any of his four targets. McCoy looked fast and healthy during Sunday's game, and the Eagles' injury-riddled offensive line turned in its best performance since at least Week 2. Philadelphia figures to get center Jason Kelce (sports hernia) and left guard Evan Mathis (knee) back by the end of the season, but Mathis isn't eligible to return until Week 10, while Kelce will likely miss at least another game or two. Following a Week 7 bye, McCoy will head to Arizona to face a feisty but injury-marred Cardinals defense.
