Maybe the most encouraging thing to take from Monday's game is that Williams played 34 minutes and Jarrett Jack played 28 minutes. Jack saw decent minutes Monday and Williams was still able to play at least 33 minutes for the sixth consecutive game. If he can stay healthy, he could be a strong fantasy option down the stretch.

Williams has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence of late, scoring in double digits in six straight games, including two double-doubles in that span. He's a good bet to keep this current level of production up as the Nets try to stay in the playoff race. Williams is solid starting option in most 10-12 team leagues right now.

That's back-to-back double-doubles for Williams since rejoining the Nets' starting lineup. As long as he manages to stay healthy, he's capable of putting up some very good backcourt numbers to close out the season.

Williams reentered the starting lineup Friday. He scored 12 points (6-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and added four rebounds, 15 assists, two steals, and one block in 40 minutes against the Lakers.

Games like this mostly serve to remind managers of how great Williams once was. Unfortunately, at this point in his career, this is more mirage than reality, and managers should expect most nights to be worse than this one.

Williams has already missed six straight games, and the Nets are just 1-5 in that span.
