G J.J. Redick topped 2,000 career field goals in the first quarter Friday. He connected on eight of 14 shots from the floor, including all three of his 3-pointers.

G J.J. Redick did not play after being removed in the second quarter of a 118-108 loss to Dallas on Wednesday with lower back spasms. "I doubt if he plays any of the next two, but I'm not sure," coach Doc Rivers said. The Clippers play host to Detroit on Saturday. Reddick missed time with back spasms last year. "I'm sure it's a cousin," Rivers said. "You know how backs are -- once you have a back, you have a back."

Redick scored 23 points (9-16 FG, 4-9 3PT) and snatched one steal in a 106-94 loss to Charlotte on Sunday.

This is pretty much what Redick does, as he provides empty scoring with not much else. The best case for a player like Redick is to use him in a daily format when one of the Clippers studs is sitting or when a player like Jamal Crawford or Chris Paul is injured. Redick should be a solid late-round pick in drafts and he'll look to improve on his 16.4 PPG average from last season.

Redick recorded 16.4 points (48% FG, 44% 3Pt, 90% FT), 2.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.1 blocks in 31 minutes per game during 78 regular season games in 2014-15.

During 14 playoff games, Redick averaged 14.9 points (44% FG, 40% 3Pt, 94% 3Pt), 2.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 39 minutes per game. The 31-year-old sharpshooter's role is unlikely to be threatened by the Clippers' acquisition of Lance Stephenson, as Redick's reliability from the outside offensively helps provide the spacing needed for the stars to operate.

Redick went cold from the field in a Game 5 loss to the Rockets, going just 3-for-12 for nine points, one rebound, three assists, and one steal in 37 minutes of action.

This marks Redick's first single-digit scoring performance of the series, and it's not a coincidence that the Clippers lost Game 5. He's been a factor from beyond the arc for the Clippers, averaging 3.0 treys made per game. Look for him to bounce back in Game 6.

Redick exploded for a season-high 31 points (11-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with one rebound, one assist, and one steal during 37 minutes of action in Friday's Game 3 victory over the Rockets.

Redick picked the most appropriate time of the year to put up a season-high in points. In fact, he's been a very reliable option all season long as he's only scored in single-digits 11 times over 88 games this season, one of those instances being in the playoffs.

Redick posted 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 47 minutes of action in Game 2 against the Spurs.

Redick has gone just 8-for-25 from the field in the series so far, and hasn't quite found his touch just yet. Still, he's averaging 13.0 points and 3.0 threes made during that span, and it won't be long before he catches up to his season average of 48 percent FG.

Redick scored 20 points (7-16 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with two assists and a steal in 33 minutes during Monday's win over the Nuggets.

It's the fifth time in the last eight games that Redick has scored 20 or more points, and he's averaging 21.0 points and 3.3 threes over that stretch as the Clippers prepare for the postseason.

Redick had 25 points (9-20 FG, 5-9 3Pt) and eight rebounds in 35 minutes.

Redick remains a solid fantasy option. He's averaging 20.5 points over his last 10 games. In that span, he's scored at least 25 points four times.

Redick had 20 points (7-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) in 30 minutes in the win over the Pelicans on Sunday.

Redick has strung together four 20-point games and has hit 14 3-pointers in his last three. He has seen a bump in minutes while Jamal Crawford (calf) has been out, and has taken advantage of the opportunities.

Redick continued his scoring spree Friday against the Wizards, posting 26 points (9-15 FG, 4-4 FT, 4-7 3Pt) to go with two rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes of action.

Redick is now averaging 25.3 points (58 percent FG, 100 percent FT) and 3.7 three-pointers made per game over the last three contests, and he's clearly enjoying the absence of Jamal Crawford. He's putting up big minutes in March (38 mpg) and it's hard not to own him even in shallow leagues.

Redick supplied a team-high 23 points (10-17 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 39 minutes on Tuesday against the Hornets.

Redick has been attempting 16.3 shots in 38.0 minutes per game in March with Jamal Crawford (calf) and Matt Barnes (hamstring) sitting out games. Redick will continue to be a big part of the Clippers' offense, especially given their thin bench.

Redick scored 25 points (6-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 10-10 FT) with five rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 35 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Thunder.

This is Redick's second 20+ point performance and the third in the last four games. He is hitting threes with regularity and has taken on more offensive responsibility with Jamal Crawford out injured. Redick should be owned in all leagues.

Redick scored 26 points (10-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with five rebounds in 39 minutes during Monday's win over the Timberwolves.

He's now hit multiple three-pointers in seven straight games, averaging 19.0 points, 4.0 boards and 2.9 threes over that stretch. Redick won't help you in any other categories, but owners looking for a late boost in threes could do a lot worse.

Redick finished with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and two steals in 27 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Warriors.

Redick has benefited from the absence of Jamal Crawford, who has missed the last two games with a calf injury. Over those last two, Redick has combined for 44 points (19-39 FG, 6-17 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and four steals, while averaging 37.0 minutes. His minutes went down Sunday with Matt Barnes returning to the lineup, but he may still provide a decent portion of the offensive output until Crawford returns, which could still be a week away.

Redick had 26 points (11-27 FG, 4-12 3Pt), four rebounds, and two steals in 47 minutes Wednesday against Portland.

Redick was tasked with being Los Angeles' second option on offense with Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes sidelined. The fact that he has played 40+ minutes in two straight games shows that Sunday's knee x-ray isn't a reason for concern. Also, Redick has attempted at least 12 field goals in every game since Blake Griffin underwent elbow surgery.

Redick (knee) was ejected in the final minutes of Monday's game against the Timberwolves, Arash Markazi of ESPN reports. He registered 18 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt), five rebounds, and one assist in 44 minutes before getting tossed.

Redick was ejected for yelling back at a referee which most likely won't result in a future suspension. More importantly, he's been dealing with soreness in his left knee of late but dispelled any doubts with his hefty 44-minute outing Monday. This above-average minute total will likely decrease once Matt Barnes (hamstring) returns to the court.

Redick had a precautionary x-ray taken on his left knee after the game Sunday, and the results were negative, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports

Redick hurt the knee in the Clippers victory over the Bulls on Sunday, but the injury went largely unreported. Since there appears to be no long-term damage, at this point all we can do is call him a game-time decision for the team's game Monday in Minnesota.
