Jerryd Bayless will slide over to shooting guard against the Wizards on Wednesday.

He started at point guard on Monday night while Rajon Rondo (rest) was out, and now he'll start in place of Avery Bradley (Achilles). There's a decent chance Bradley misses more time, so fantasy owners can give Bayless a look for some points and triples.

There's no telling where he goes from here, as he was struggling and broke out of a slump tonight. If he continues to start, his daily salary should remain relatively low for another week or so, making him worth a look. But we've seen Brad Stevens switch up his lineups quite often. Yeah, it's wishy-washy, but it's tough to say if Bayless will come close to another game like this all season. If you want to take a flier on him, it makes sense in case he sticks in the starting five and keeps draining threes.

The Celtics need to move some guys around with their frontcourt in bad shape. Bayless is having a rough season with a field goal percentage of just 38.7, but he does have 14.5 points per game in his last two. He's an interesting deep-league play for those seeking points and treys.

Needless to say if he can't get it done while those guys are out his fantasy value is going to be in the tank. Rondo is expected to play on Wednesday and Bradley is day-to-day.

Bayless got quite a few wide open looks on broken plays and the like, with the Kings' lack of depth on display to make it all happen. With no indication that Rajon Rondo or Avery Bradley will miss more games, Bayless still fits in the category of spot-starter if it is announced that those guys will miss more games.

He was trying to guard Evan Turner on the buzzer-beating play and didn't really play well on either end, including shooting 4-of-13 from the field. Bayless' honeymoon in Boston is over and his numbers have been trending down.
