Vasquez will be in line to get another start Monday with Kyle Lowry (rest) out, and he could start a few more games this week as well, the Toronto Sun's Ryan Wolstat reports.

There is some speculation that Lowry could miss a few more games after Monday's contest, which would lead to Vasquez being a strong add in mid-sized weekly leagues. There may only be significant short term value, but Vasquez could be a very strong contributor in assists, which is tough to find on the waiver wire.

Vasquez made the spot start for Kyle Lowry (rest) Saturday, scoring 14 points (5-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt) with three rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes.

Prior to this spot start, Vasquez hadn't topped 30 minutes since February 2nd and had only scored in double-digits three times in the interim before today's solid performance. His appeal for standard leagues extends only to games where Lowry is out.

Vasquez will start for Kyle Lowry (rest) on Saturday at New York.

With Lowry getting the day off for maintenance purposes, Vasquez will man the point for the Raptors. In 16 starts this season, Vasquez averaged 10.9 points (on 45 percent shooting), 3.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.6 three-pointers in 28 minutes.

Vasquez was quite efficient with his time during Tuesday's loss to the Mavericks, finishing with 14 points (5-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, two assists and two steals in just 19 minutes off the bench.

Vasquez struggled in Monday's game, shooting just over 30 percent from the field, while missing all three of his three-point attempts, so it was good to see him get dialed in Tuesday and put up some points. He remains limited in his fantasy value, as his minutes per game (22.6) aren't necessarily the most favorable, but he's still someone to keep an eye on for those in deeper leagues.

Vasquez will move to the bench for Sunday's game against the Spurs.

Vasquez will likely see a reduction in minutes Sunday following his demotion back to the bench. However, he's averaging 23 minutes on the court this season and still holds value in deeper leagues looking for assists and three pointers.

Vasquez got the start Friday in a win over the Clippers, and finished the game with 17 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes.

In his previous two games, Vasquez had only scored a combined 13 points, and shot 3-for-11 from the floor Monday against the Bucks. Even when he starts, though, Vasquez usually takes a back seat to DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry in the offense. In his previous 15 starts this season, the Maryland product averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists.

Vasquez scored 18 points (7-9 FG, 4-5 3Pt) with six assists, four rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Kings.

The Raptors' scoring stars, DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, took a back seat to Vasquez and Lou Williams in this one, and Vasquez produced his best performance since moving into the starting lineup six games ago. Expect him to return to his usual complementary role on Friday in Brooklyn.

Vasquez got the start Tuesday and had seven points, four rebounds, and four assists in 28 minutes.

Vasquez' scoring output was a disappointment given that he had scored in double figures in three of his last four games. His contributions in the assist and rebound categories helped bolster his numbers on the night, but he's still a riskier option, even as a starter.

Vasquez scored 12 points (6-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt) with five rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes during Friday's win over the 76ers.

He's picked up his pace a little, averaging 10.3 points, 4.8 assists, 2.8 boards, 1.3 threes and 1.0 steals over his last four games, three of them spent in the starting lineup. Vasquez's hold on a starting spot isn't a secure one, but he could be worth a short-term add in deeper leagues.

Terrence Ross looked refreshed in his first game off the bench, so it's an open question whether Ross regains his starting spot on Wednesday against the Grizzlies, Vasquez remains in the starting lineup, or someone like James Johnson (who received a surprise DNP - Coach's Decision on Monday) gets the nod instead. Don't rush out to grab Vasquez off your waiver wire just because he suddenlly found himself in the starting five.

Vasquez will enter the starting five for Terrence Ross on Monday in Milwaukee.

In five previous nods this season, Vasquez averaged 12.2 points (on 44 percent shooting), 4.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.2 three-pointers, and one steal in 31 minutes. Expect him to uphold that standard, as long as he receives expanded run.

Vasquez scored 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt) with four assists, three rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes off the bench Thursday.

After scoring just two points on Sunday against the Suns, Vasquez was able to bounce back to respectability in this one. DeMar DeRozan is expected to return from his groin injury sometime next week, which will cost Vasquez some court time, but his role as the facilitator on the Raptors' second unit is still secure.

Vasquez had 16 points(5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, and six assists in 22 minutes Saturday against the Clippers.

Vasquez had a solid game against the Clippers after having a disappointing game against the Bulls earlier in the week where he only scored two points. He's averaging a decent amount of playing time for a bench-player (20.9 MPG) but he has been up-and-down in terms of offensive production. Vasquez has had six games in double figures in December, but he's also had five games with fewer than five points. He has a good ceiling in terms of production, but his floor is too low to be in your lineup on a regular basis.

Vasquez equaled his season high with 21 points (9-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt) to go along with four rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes in the win over New York on Sunday.

Vasquez shot very well and hit multiple 3-pointers for the first time in five games. His scoring is inconsistent, but he is getting regular reserve minutes. He can provide points and assists, but will not do so on an every-game basis.

Vasquez (illness) logged 14 minutes against the Knicks on Sunday, posting two points and two rebounds.

It appears he's good to go forward in spite of his lackluster performance Sunday. Still, he's averaging just 9.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 three-pointers made for the season, and is only an option in 16-man leagues or deeper.

Vasquez saw limited minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Cavs due to a flu bug, the Toronto Sun reports.

This may also have something to do with Landry Fields getting the start on Tuesday, although Raptors' coach Dwane Casey said that decision was an attempt to get a better defensive matchup against LeBron James. At any rate, even if Vasquez does re-join the second unit on a regular basis, he should still go back to his usual amount of court time once he shakes off the bug.

Vasquez came off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the Cavaliers, playing in just 13 minutes and scoring three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt).

Vasquez had been starting in place of DeMar DeRozan, and his benching came as a surprise. Landry Fields started instead, scoring four points in 23 minutes. This was Vasquez's lowest minute total of the year, and his lowest point total since Nov. 24. Owners will want to monitor his minutes in the coming games before moving on.

Vasquez has been moved back to a bench role for Tuesday's game, TSN Sports reports.

Vasquez was filling in as the starter at shooting guard for the last five games with DeMar DeRozan sidelined with an adductor injury. Landry Fields moved into the starting lineup at small forward Tuesday, with Terrence Ross shifting down to shooting guard. Lou Williams, Ross, and James Johnson are more likely to see fantasy-relevant value as a result of the move than Fields.

Vasquez scored 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-5 3P, 0-1 Ft) with five assists, four rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Jazz.

In three games since moving into the starting lineup to replace the injured DeMar DeRozan, Vasquez is averaging 16.0 points, 5.7 assists and 2.0 threes, and should be a priority pickup if you're looking to boost your back court.

Vasquez scored 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3P) with seven assists, four rebounds and a steal in 30 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Kings.

Raptors coach Dwane Casey seems content with his current DeMar DeRozan-less rotation, so expect Vasquez to continue getting starts and big minutes going forward.
