Young seems to have gotten over his hamstring injury with his successful 26-minute outing against the Nets in which he was able to score five points and grab four rebounds.
Young was plagued with a hamstring injury throughout the preseason that limited him to just two games. The rookie certainly could have benefited from more time on the court, both in practice and exhibition games, but there's no time for prep left as the Celtics begin their regular season against the Nets on Wednesday. At 19-years-old, it's still undetermined what kind of role Young will have on the team, although he'll be competing for minutes with the three capable veterans of Jeff Green, Evan Turner, and Gerald Wallace which certainly curtails his value.

While he's not yet 100 percent, he said he's "definitely in the 90s," so Young should be close to, if not fully, healthy when the regular season opens next Wednesday. The Kentucky product will see time at both shooting guard and small forward this season, but he's currently stuck behind veterans Jeff Green, Evan Turner, Gerald Wallace and Avery Bradley on the depth chart.
