"I think this is, considering all the game he's missed, we look forward to getting Nolan back at the end of May. He's not doing any baseball activity. He's getting treatment and working out. That's what I've been told. That's kind of where Nolan is."

Wed Mar 12 201416:52Nolan Reimold goes 2-for-3, homers
Nolan Reimold went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer off A.J. Burnett and a stolen base against the Phillies on Wednesday.
Reimold was the designated hitter today. His role on the Orioles is unclear with Nelson Cruz guaranteed a spot and Delmon Young also fighting, and it's possible he'll start off on the DL following his neck surgeries. Still, he shouldn't be completely written off in AL-only leagues.

Tue Mar 11 201419:43Nolan Reimold to get at-bats in minors games
Nolan Reimold will be given at-bats in minor league camp starting on Wednesday.
Reimold has missed nearly all of the past two seasons due to a pair of neck surgeries, and the Orioles are trying to get him as many at-bats as possible in an effort to get his timing back. The plan makes sense, but it also could mean Reimold will be on the DL to start the season. "It's just a matter of getting muscle memory back to going after pitches instead of letting them get on you," Reimold said. "There's just one little movement that I do that I want to get rid of and it's preventing me from hitting the ball. It's a matter of working out some kinks that you develop with some time off."

Sat Feb 1 201414:45Reimold will report without any restrictions
Nolan Reimold acknowledged Saturday that he's the healthiest that he's felt since before his injury in 2002, and that he'll report to spring training without any restrictions.
Reimold has proven to be a capable offensive performer when he's on the field, but avoiding the disabled list has proven to be a mighty challenge the past few seasons. Provided he can stay healthy, he should see regular playing time in left field and could be an interesting option in the later rounds of mixed league drafts.

The 30-year-old should get a chance to carve out a significant role with the Orioles this season, but he will have to earn his way back on the fantasy radar.

Fri Dec 6 201321:05Orioles could stay in house for left fielder
Orioles general manager Dan Duquette indicated Friday that the team could fill their void in left field with an in-house option as opposed to through free agency or trade.
Duquette mentioned Nolan Reimold, Steve Pearce, Francisco Peguero and Henry Urrutia as the potential options to fill that vacancy. Of that quartet, Reimold and Urrutia have the most upside from a fantasy perspective, and each could be worth a speculative look later in drafts.

Nolan Reimold (back, neck) expects to be fully healthy by the start of spring training next February.

Because of the injury and his poor recent production, Reimold is a non-tender candidate this winter.
