Thu Aug 8 201316:40Bobcats offer Anthony Tolliver a 1-year deal
The Bobcats offered free-agent forward Anthony Tolliver a one-year contract.
Tolliver didn't garner much interest earlier in the summer but seems to have generated some consideration recently. Tolliver told FOX Sports Florida that the Lakers have entered the mix as a possible landing spot and we have to imagine that would be a slightly more appealing destination than Charlotte. Tolliver, who is unlikely to get anything higher than the veteran's minimum, said he'd like to pick a team before he leaves for vacation Sunday.

Sat Apr 6 201323:16Tolliver scoreless in spot-start for Hawks
Anthony Tolliver started at SF for the banged-up Hawks on Saturday, but he finished scoreless with just one rebound and four personal fouls.
Kyle Korver was a game-time decision but wound up resting the whole game, and Josh Smith (knee) and Al Horford (hamstring) were also out, which opened up 25 minutes of action for Tolliver. If only he had done something valuable with the time.

Fri Mar 29 201322:48Tolliver scores 14 points with seven boards
Anthony Tolliver scored 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting (all threes) with seven rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Tolliver didn't have a steal or block, and this is what he's capable of if he can ever show any consistency. Since he has failed in that department all season long, owners should look at this outing with plenty of skepticism.

Tue Mar 12 201323:10Anthony Tolliver starts, but doesn't produce
Anthony Tolliver started against the Heat for matchup purposes on Tuesday but missed both his shots and failed to score in 25 minutes.
He did have five rebounds, but had posted some interesting stat lines recently, including 21 points and eight rebounds on March 6. Deep-leaguers should keep an eye on him, but he's now failed to score in two straight games, meaning he's no longer worth a pickup in any league.

Tue Mar 12 201317:36Tolliver to start at power forward on Tuesday
Anthony Tolliver will start at power forward on Tuesday against the Heat.
Tolliver replaces Johan Petro in the starting lineup and DeShawn Stevenson will draw the start in Kyle Korver's place, and on the latter duo owners can treat them how they normally would. Tolliver has made some noise lately but has also been inconsistent, but in a deep league as a spot-starter he's worth a look.

Sat Mar 9 201301:29Tolliver posts random line on Friday
Anthony Tolliver followed up his 21-point, eight-rebound night on Wednesday with five points on 1-of-7 shooting, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Tolliver has always been worth watching when he lucks into some minutes, and with Zaza Pachulia battling an Achilles' injury and Ivan Johnson dealing with a dislocated finger it's possible he gets some run. How long he can play sustained minutes and whether or not he can hold any real value are good questions, but he's worth a look and probably best suited for deeper formats at this time.

Wed Mar 6 201322:37Tolliver comes off the bench big again
Anthony Tolliver had 21 points, eight rebounds, five 3-pointers and two blocks in 26 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
It's this kind of versatile, unique skill set that makes Tolliver an annual intriguing name in fantasy circles. The problem is that we can't always count on a major role. Prior to these last two outbursts, Tolliver hadn't topped 18 minutes since Feb. 13. It's going to be very difficult to predict when he'll be getting enough playing time to warrant a fantasy start.

Anthony Tolliver was not at Hawks shootaround on Friday because ha and his wife just had a child.
Congratulations to the Tolliver family. The Hawks play the Kings on Friday, and it's not currently known if Tolliver will be available to play. If he's out, the starting lineup will likely change.

Anthony Tolliver was quiet in his start on Friday, scoring five points on 2-of-4 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes.
Tolliver has the ability to make some deep-league noise if given the minutes and touches, but we're not sure he's going to get either in Atlanta's scheme.

Fri Feb 8 201314:15Anthony Tolliver draws another start
Anthony Tolliver will start once again in Friday's game against the Hornets.
DeShawn Stevenson (knee) is out. Tolliver started on Wednesday as well, posting eight points, seven rebounds and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes. His roto-friendly game make him someone to watch in deep formats.

Wed Feb 6 201323:56Anthony Tolliver starts for Hawks
Anthony Tolliver started for the Hawks and had eight points, seven rebounds, a block and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.
He played 28 minutes as DeShawn Stevenson sat out with a balky knee. Tolliver will be worth keeping an eye on if he sticks in the starting unit, but whether or not that will happen remains to be seen. He has some fantasy intrigue if he gets minutes, as he can hit threes and block shots, as he usefully demonstrated tonight.

Anthony Tolliver scored a season-high 13 points with four rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers in 20 minutes in a 102-94 win over the Cavs on Friday.
He shot 5-of-7 from the field and got some extra run with Josh Smith missing the fourth quarter. J-Smoove could be out on Saturday, so owners looking for a spot-start in deeper leagues may look to Tolliver.

Wed Dec 12 201212:24Anthony Tolliver could start on Wednesday
Anthony Tolliver could start on Wednesday if DeShawn Stevenson is rested.
With a full slate of games on Wednesday, owners looking for a spot-start can do much better than Tolliver, who hasn't cracked double-digits in the scoring department all season.

Sun Nov 4 201221:31Anthony Tolliver quiet in start at PF for ATL
Anthony Tolliver had just six points and three rebounds in 23 minutes on Sunday, despite starting at PF for injured Josh Smith (ankle).
Smith could return as soon as Wednesday, which makes Tolliver an even less appealing fantasy option.

Sun Nov 4 201217:08Anthony Tolliver starting for Josh Smith
Anthony Tolliver will start in place of Josh Smith (ankle) on Sunday.
Tolliver will be joined by Jeff Teague, Kyle Korver, DeShawn Stevenson and Al Horford, as Devin Harris will come off the bench today. Smith's injury isn't thought to be serious and the hope is he can play on Wednesday, meaning Tolliver's run could be a short one.

Sun Oct 28 201219:20Anthony Tolliver makes Hawks' final cut
Five-year veteran Anthony Tolliver made the Hawks' final roster cut.
"He has versatility where you can play him at some [PF] or move him to some [SF]," said Larry Drew. "He might not be the athlete that Josh [Smith] is but defensively his length and his understanding about defense makes him a very valuable piece." He won't have significant fantasy appeal in a glue-guy role.

Fri Oct 26 201223:36Anthony Tolliver still firing away for Hawks
Anthony Tolliver came off the bench and hit 1-of-10 shots (a 3-pointer) for nine points and a steal on Friday.
Tolliver will be a guy worth keeping an eye on in Atlanta, especially if a starter is injured. He's big, can shoot the three and provide some depth up front for the shallow Hawks. He's had an active preseason, and while we wouldn't recommend drafting him, he might be worth keeping an eye on during the season.

Tue Oct 16 201221:42Anthony Tolliver scores 14 in the start
Anthony Tolliver started on Tuesday and looked good with 14 points, five boards, one steal, one block and two threes in 24 minutes against the Pacers.
Josh Smith and Al Horford didn't play, so Tolliver had ample opportunity to show what he can do for his new team. While he makes sense as a good fit for Atlanta's bench, he's not worthy of a selection in fantasy drafts.

Sun Oct 14 201220:46Tolliver returns from scratched cornea
Anthony Tolliver (eye) played nine minutes off the bench in Atlanta's road loss on Sunday, scoring seven points with one 3-pointer and two rebounds.
Apparently Tolliver's scratched cornea wasn't too debilitating, as he shot the ball well in his limited minutes. Atlanta's new stretch forward should go undrafted in standard fantasy leagues.
