We doubt there is a changing of the guard here, but Hickson needs to do a bit more going forward to keep his role intact. He's providing very low-end value in 12-team formats, but the lack of depth in Portland and his chance of improving his 47.5 FG% are reasons to hang on.

He may be able to improve on his 47.1 percent field goal mark after shooting 54.3 percent in 19 games for the Blazers last season, but his 48.9 percent career mark suggests we shouldn't get too optimistic. We're guessing he splits the difference and holds solid late round value for most of the year.
