Ben Francisco went 3-for-4 with two homers and three RBI in Wednesday's win over the Nationals.
Francisco could probably start for a lot of other teams in the league, but he was a decent fourth outfielder for the Phillies this season. The Charlie Manuel favorite will give the Phillies a much-needed righty bat off the bench in the playoffs.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel hinted that Ben Francisco could be in for more playing time, possibly at the expense of Raul Ibanez.
"I like Ben's bat," said Manuel. "You're always looking for somebody to produce and you never know. The more you hit, the more playing time you're going to get and you can beat people out. [Ryan] Howard, [Shane] Victorino, they proved you can beat people out." Francisco was 3-for-5 with a pair of RBI doubles in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday, however he has been limited to just 73 at-bats so far this season. We'd like to see more of him, but it would take quite a tear for him to supplant the expensive Ibanez in the lineup.
