Belinelli, who battled a groin injury most of the season, will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The 29-year-old finished his eighth NBA season shooting 42 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range, and 85 percent from the free-throw line, filling his role as a shooting specialist for the Spurs. Though Belinelli fits coach Gregg Popovich's system as an efficient-shooting foreign talent with experience, he has never stayed on the same NBA team for more than two seasons. With Danny Green also entering unrestricted free agency this offseason, the starting shooting guard spot for the Spurs could be open to Belinelli if he re-signs with the team, though it's unclear where he will be playing next season.

Belinelli logged 16 minutes of work off the bench in Game 3 against the Clippers on Friday. He managed to put up nine points, one rebound, and one assist during that time span.

Belinelli is firmly within coach Gregg Popovich's rotation but is only averaging 18 minutes on the court over the first three games of the playoffs. As a result, the 29-year-old hardly touches the ball enough to amount significant production.
