Thu Sep 9 201015:55Jazz still waiting on Fesenko
The Jazz have made a qualifying offer to big man Kyrylo Fesenko and are waiting to hear back from him.
Fesenko is hoping to get a bigger offer from another team but it hasn't happened yet. Chances are he'll be playing for the Jazz again this season.

Tue Jul 20 201008:52Fesenko is next up for Jazz
The Jazz are ready to turn their attention to re-signing restricted free agent C Kyrylo Fesenko.
"[Fesenko] is next on the agenda," GM Kevin O'Connor said. "Go from there and see what happens." Fesenko didn't receive any offer sheets on the open market and shouldn't be difficult to bring back. He showed some potential as a long-term backup center in five starts last season.

Mon Jun 28 201015:01Jazz to make Fesenko a restricted FA
The Jazz will make a qualifying offer to Kyrylo Fesenko, making him a restricted free agent.
The Deseret News reports that Utah "seems inclined to match" offers from other teams, as they have three years invested in the project big man. Fesenko would likely fill the same backup center role he played this season.

Sun May 2 201018:32Fesenko quiet in just 13 minutes
Jazz center Kyrylo Fesenko started Sunday's game but had just two points and one rebound in 13 distracted minutes.
Fesenko was hypnotized by the "Kiss Cam" during one timeout, and the Lakers dancers during another. Jerry Sloan already ripped him for being distracted by balloons prior to Game 6 in the first round, so this probably won't go over well. Paul Millsap (16 points, nine rebounds) had a solid game off the bench and will need to come up huge for Utah to have a chance.
Sat May 1 201019:54Fesenko will continue to start at C for Utah
Kyrylo Fesenko will continue to start for Utah, despite finishing Friday's game scoreless with four turnovers -- and one airball on a free throw.
Jerry Sloan gave more minutes to Kosta Koufos, and even suggested that Fesenko "was a little bit concerned about the balloons going off when he was starting the game." The Jazz need Paul Millsap's punch off the bench, which leaves them perilously thin vs. the Lakers huge frontcourt.

Mon Apr 26 201010:20Nuggets don't intentionally foul Fesenko
The Nuggets made a questionable decision by not fouling Jazz center Kyrylo Fesenko down the stretch on Sunday -- Fesenko is a career 40.2% FT shooter.
Fes had also gone 5-of-15 from the stripe in March and April but coach Adrian Dantley said simply, "We decided not to do it." It's worth noting that the Nuggets were neck deep in foul trouble.
Mon Apr 19 201014:27Fesenko to start at C for Jazz
The Jazz will start Kyrylo Fesenko at center for Game 2 on Monday.
We fully expect Paul Millsap to get the lion's share of Mehmet Okur's vacant minutes, but coach Jerry Sloan wanted more experience coming off the bench.
Sun Apr 18 201016:11Fesenko or Koufos to start for Jazz
Kyrylo Fesenko or Kosta Koufos will start at center for the Jazz with news that Mehmet Okur will have surgery for a ruptured Achilles' tendon.
Paul Millsap will see a boost in minutes, as the Jazz will play a small lineup the rest of the way, as Fesenko and Koufos are nothing more than role players at this stage of their career.
Sat Apr 10 201002:19Kyrylo Fesenko returned to action on Friday April 9
Kyrylo Fesenko returned to action on Friday April 9.
Fri Apr 9 201023:28Fez (flu) returns to action vs. Hornets
Kyrylo Fesenko (flu) returned to action on Friday against the Hornets, but played just three minutes and didn't log a statistic.
Even if he gets a crack at some playing time in the event that Mehmet Okur (Achilles) missed next Tuesday's game, the fact that it is against the Warriors means he will have a tough time matching up. That's too many ifs for a guy that hasn't done a whole lot in fantasy leagues.
Fri Apr 9 201012:53Kyrylo Fesenko to return to Jazz rotation
Kyrylo Fesenko (flu) will be available to play Friday night for the Jazz.
Normally Fesenko would be an afterthought, but with so many front court injuries to the Jazz lineup (Mehmet Okur, Andrei Kirilenko), they may turn to him for some minutes. We still have a very hard time recommending Fesenko.

Wed Apr 7 201020:18Fesenko (sore throat) stays at team hotel
Kyrylo Fesenko (sore throat) traveled with the Jazz to Oklahoma City to play the Thunder, but stayed back at the team's hotel because he was too sick to attend the game.
He shouldn't be on fantasy radars right now, but he has shown a bit of promise as a big body that clogs up the lane and makes the occasional play. It wouldn't be surprising if he had a few good outings next year.

Tue Apr 6 201013:30Fesenko a game-time decision
Kyrylo Fesenko (sore throat) is a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Thunder.
Fesenko is an interesting prospect at 7'1/300, but he is way too raw to be in the rotation right now.

Mon Apr 5 201015:25Fesenko (flu) held from practice Monday
Kyrylo Fesenko (flu) was held from practice on Monday, but is expected to play Tuesday against the Thunder.
He has been much more effective than anybody thought this year, but that still translates to just a handful of minutes per game and no fantasy value.
