Pekovic provided 16 points (5-16 FG, 6-8 FT) and 11 rebounds in 36 minutes in the win over the Suns on Friday.

Pekovic has posted double-doubles in consecutive games for the third time this season. He has not accomplished the feat in three straight games, but he will have an opportunity to do so against the Rockets on Monday. Pekovic has added four blocks in his last two games as well.

Pekovic scored 17 points (6-13 FG, 5-7 FT) with 13 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 34 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

Pekovic has been a consistent scorer recently averaging 17 points over his last five games. It was also pleasing to see him clean the glass and throw in a couple of blocks. Owners should prepare themselves in the likely event that Pekovic re-injures himself before the season is over.

Pekovic will play against the Hawks on Monday, the Timberwolves' official sitereports.

A report came out Saturday detailing that Pekovic might sit out one game of the Timberwolves' back-to-back set for Sunday and Monday. However, after he put up a season-high 29 points in 33 minutes Sunday, coach Flip Saunders decided to let the big man play Monday as well. Though daily games players may want to avoid Pekovic in case he plays limited minutes on the second night of a back-to-back, managers in season-long leagues should have him in all weekly and daily lineups.

Pekovic scored 29 points (9-16 FG, 11-12 FT), to go with three rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 33 minutes on Sunday.

Pekovic got the start on Sunday and abused Andre Drummond to score 29 points. His rebounding and defensive stats were underwhelming, but Pekovic has always been more of a scorer at the center position.

Pekovic will play in Sunday's game against the Pistons, the Star Tribune reports.

Pekovic is a go for Sunday, although he may be rested for Monday's game against the Hawks. However, that shouldn't affect his productivity against the Pistons as he's averaging 11.3 points and 5.7 rebounds over his past three games.

Pekovic may sit out of Minnesota's next two games, Sunday or Monday, the Star Tribune's Jerry Zgoda reports.

The conventional wisdom would be for Pekovic to play Sunday against Detroit's big men and sit Monday, if he does indeed sit out one of the two games. Owners should monitor his status over the next two days to make sure they are not stuck with a goose egg. If he sits, Gorgui Dieng becomes a great play in daily leagues.

Pekovic is slowly coming back into form from a severe ankle injury. He has averaged 13.4 points and 7.0 rebounds in 26.8 minutes. The Wolves' center may have limited value for the rest of the season.

Pekovic said he's still experiencing soreness in his ankle following games, Phil Ervin of Fox Sports North reports.

Pekovic has played in eight straight games since returning from injury and has seen his playing time capped at around 27-30 minutes on most nights. While the soreness is unlikely to cause him to miss time, Pekovic said he expects to deal with it for the rest of the season, so his mobility and, in turn, production could be impacted.

Pekovic was playing limited minutes as he worked his way back from an ankle injury. While a minutes restriction may seem like a good approach with Pekovic going forward, Minnesota went with another approach on Sunday. Continue to monitor his minutes in the next couple games before considering an add though. It also appears his time was not altered playing next to Gorgui Dieng, which is good news for both players.

Pekovic will move into the starting lineup against the Hawks on Sunday.

Pekovic will join Gorgui Dieng in the starting lineup as Thaddeus Young slides down to small forward. Unless Sunday is unproductive, Pekovic will likely continue to start moving forward.

He was splitting time with Gorgui Dieng, who played 25 minutes of his own, so they were very close in the amount of minutes they played. Considering Dieng has played so well in Pekovic's absence, it could be somewhat of a threat to his fantasy value moving forward. Pekovic can be played in deeper leagues, but others may want to wait and see how the minutes are broken up between Pekovic and Dieng during the Timberwolves' next few games.

Pekovic (ankle) will play Wednesday, but will not start.

Coach Flip Saunders said that while Pekovic will not start, he will see a decent amount of minutes Wednesday, so those in deeper leagues should feel comfortable starting him. It will be worth monitoring how many minutes he gets next to Gorgui Dieng, who has been one of the biggest breakout candidates of the sophomore class this season.

Pekovic hasn't played since Nov. 15. Even if he returns Wednesday, it would likely be in a bench role. Owners or daily league players will want to give him a few games to get adjusted to game speed since he's been out for about two months. As a center that blocks just 0.2 shots a game, Pekovic' usefulness in fantasy leagues has a definite ceiling.

Pekovic isn't experiencing any pain in his ankle but needs to get his conditioning in order before he takes the court. While it's still possible that he makes a comeback Saturday, a return sometime next week seems more likely.

Saunders talked about limiting Pek's minutes before the season, and with Gorgui Dieng's development seemingly more important than starting a veteran who needs his minutes limited just to stay healthy, Pekovic could be stuck in a limited bench role when he returns. The one thing that could force the Timberwolves to start Pekovic is if they're desperate to move his ball-and-chain of a contract. It seems unlikely Pekovic would return on their current road trip, putting his current target return date as next Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

Pekovic (ankle) has been upgraded to doubtful, but it is "still gonna be a while" before he returns to game action, according to coach Flip Saunders, T-Wolves announcer Alan Horton reports.

Saunders said that all the doubtful tag means is that Pekovic is practicing, but still out. Last weekend, Saunders intimated that Pekovic could return this week, but that looks doubtful given the coach's comments Tuesday. Consider him week-to-week, not day-to-day, and look for Gorgui Dieng to continue to start at center for now.
