Mon Mar 12 201200:07Eddy Curry reportedly under 300 pounds
Eddy Curry's weight is reportedly under 300 pounds.
This might be intriguing if we were reporting it in 2008. Curry was never a good fantasy player and there are no guarantees he'll play 20 minutes in another NBA game in his career.

Fri Jan 20 201200:46Eddy Curry returns to NBA action for the Heat
Eddy Curry, who is said to have been as large as 400 pounds at times in the past few years, stepped on an NBA court for the first time since 2009 and finished with six points on 2-of-3 shooting with three rebounds in six minutes.
For all of his self-inflicted moves, it's good to see him shed a bunch of weight and get back on the court. And interestingly, the Miami beat writers seem to think he can contribute. We'll need way more than that before entertaining an add, even though the Heat aren't exactly stocked at center.

Curry still hasn't made his Miami debut. The head coach reiterated that the big man is a "big-picture" project, and the Heat aren't rushing him to hit the court. There isn't any fantasy value here, and it's a guessing game as to when he might actually see some regular season action at this point.

Thu Dec 22 201108:11Eddy Curry to make final cut of Heat roster?
Eddy Curry seems likely to make the final roster.
There was some chatter Curry might get cut, but the Heat probably wouldn't have ever brought him in if it was just to cut him prior to camp. He'll continue to work himself into game shape in the hopes of earning a spot in the rotation.

Mon Dec 19 201116:52Eddy Curry sits out another practice
Eddy Curry sat out Monday's practice due to his lingering hip injury.
Just like old times with Curry in Miami so far. He might get healthy and contribute at some point, but that doesn't mean he'll be worth putting on your fantasy team.

Thu Dec 8 201110:52Eddy Curry finally ready to sign with Heat?
Eddy Curry will reportedly sign with the Heat on Friday.
The Curry to Miami rumors have been swirling for quite some time, but it sounds like he may finally show to training camp this season. He's supposedly "slimmer," but considering how large he once was, that's not saying much. He'll have to impress in training camp in a big way.

Mon Oct 17 201115:27Tim Grover says Eddy Curry is good to go
Famed trainer Tim Grover said recently that Eddy Curry's weight is down, that he is in NBA basketball shape, and will be ready to go once the lockout ends.
First of all, this is simply hard to believe. Secondly, the last time he was a healthy and effective NBA player, he was still a fantasy disaster. Regardless of what good news you hear about Curry going forward, do not get suckered into drafting him in your fantasy league.

Sun Oct 9 201103:46Curry pulls himself out of exhibition game
Eddy Curry did not play in Saturday's exhibition game, as scheduled.
Chances are he isn't in any physical condition to play, so his handlers pulled him from the action. And if that isn't the case, that's what everybody thinks, anyway. Curry has been working out with respected trainer Tim Grover and allegedly weighs 300 pounds, but we'll believe it when we see it.

Sun Aug 14 201110:07Tim Grover: Eddy Curry down to 300 pounds
Eddy Curry has lost 28 pounds this summer and now weighs 300 pounds, according to respected trainer Tim Grover.
Curry has had flirtations with the Heat for a while, but he weighed 350 pounds last March and they asked him to shed at least 40. He's still only 28 years old and possesses more offensive punch than most guys his size, and Miami might be willing to take a chance on him for the veterans' minimum.
