Sat Apr 19 201418:49David Lee shines as Warriors win Gm 1 in L.A.
David Lee looked great in the Warriors' Game 1 victory on Saturday, scoring 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting with 13 rebounds and three assists in 36 minutes.
Lee played solid post defense and drew a number of fouls against Blake Griffin, who eventually fouled out in 19 minutes. His recent hamstring injury led to some concern about his conditioning, as he hadn't played more than 33 minutes in the past three weeks, but Saturday's performance was a clear indication that the ambidextrous PF is healthy and ready to go.

Thu Apr 17 201400:34David Lee, other Warriors ready to go
David Lee, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jermaine O'Neal and Draymond Green all got a rest on Wednesday, but all should be ready to go for the playoffs.
Lee is the most banged up of this bunch with a sore hamstring, while Andrew Bogut isn't likely to play in the postseason with a fractured rib. Expect everyone but Bogut to be ready to face the Clippers in Round 1.

Wed Apr 16 201414:03David Lee will be rested Wed. vs. Nuggets
David Lee will sit out Wednesday's game to get some rest.
Lee's hamstring responded well to his recent return, and he dropped 25 points on 12-of-14 shooting on Monday, so his absence is truly a precaution. Marreese Speights will assume the starting PF job in his absence.

Tue Apr 15 201415:40David Lee feels good after back-to-back set
David Lee said that his hamstring felt better during Monday's game vs. the Wolves, during which he scored 25 points on 12-of-14 shooting.
It was the second half of a back-to-back set, which makes his performance even more encouraging as the Warriors prepare to play without Andrew Bogut (broken rib). Head coach Mark Jackson said that he'll deploy a frontcourt of Lee and Draymond Green as needed, since Jermaine O'Neal can't play huge minutes, Festus Ezeli (knee) is still recovering, and Marreese Speights isn't much of a rim protector anyway.

Tue Apr 15 201401:50Lee posts 25 and nine; may sit out on Wed
David Lee scored 25 points on 12-of-14 shooting with nine rebounds and two steals over 28 minutes on Monday against the Wolves.
Lee reached for his hamstring at one point but it didn't seem to affect his play, but now that the Warriors have clinched their seeding Mark Jackson has already indicated that a lot of guys will rest. Lee will be at the top of that list, making him doubtful for Wednesday's game pending an update.

Mon Apr 14 201400:08David Lee (hamstring) quiet in start at PF
David Lee (hamstring) posted four points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in a start at PF on Sunday, as the Warriors lost a heart-breaker on the road in Portland.
Lee missed seven games due to his injury, which stemmed from nerve irritation, but he didn't aggravate anything by playing 25 minutes in his return on Friday. His playing time ramped up to 33 minutes on Sunday and the Warriors are likely to keep him active over the next two games, both to get him some rhythm and fight off the Mavericks for the sixth seed.

Sun Apr 13 201420:53David Lee (hamstring) starts at PF on Sunday
David Lee (hamstring) will start for the Warriors on Sunday, shifting Draymond Green back to a bench role.
Lee's nerve irritation seems to have subsided and the Warriors will revert to their typical rotations as they make one last push to solidify their playoff seeding.

Sat Apr 12 201402:45Lee double-doubles off the bench in return
David Lee (hamstring) returned to action on Friday against the Lakers, scoring 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting with 10 rebounds and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench.
The Lakers were a good spot to get Lee back in action and though it's unlikely he stays in a bench role, it sure would make a lot of sense going forward to balance the first and second units. Draymond Green scored nine points on 3-of-6 shooting with two threes, seven boards, four steals and one block in 32 minutes, and his defense helps round out a formidable starting five on that end. Keep Green going unless the Warriors indicate Lee is going to play big minutes.

Fri Apr 11 201421:27David Lee will try to play on Friday night
David Lee (hamstring) will give it a go against the Lakers on Friday.
He is going to come off the bench and said he is not 100 percent. Perhaps the Warriors getting embarrassed on the glass on Thursday was a factor for Lee to play tonight, which will decrease the opportunity for Draymond Green. Fantasy owners can pick Lee back up, but he's not a must-start play.

Fri Apr 11 201413:04David Lee questionable at best for Friday
CSN Bay Area still considers David Lee (back, hamstring) "out indefinitely."
There is no new update from the team Friday as the Warriors are on a back-to-back. All we know is that Lee did go through individual drills before Thursday's game and he's officially "day-to-day." It would be a surprise if he suits up against the Lakers Friday night, but we probably won't know for sure until an hour before the 10:30pm ET tip.

Thu Apr 10 201421:12David Lee won't play on Thursday night
David Lee (hamstring) will not play on Thursday.
He was highly unlikely to play and has been dealing with leg and back issues. Lee is back at practice and could probably go had this been a playoff game, but he may not be ready for the weekend either. Draymond Green makes for a solid spot start.

Thu Apr 10 201415:50David Lee (hamstring) questionable for Thurs.
David Lee (hamstring) went through Thursday's shootaround and he's questionable to play vs. the Nuggets.
Lee has nerve irritation stemming from his back, which has led to pain in his hamstring, so it wouldn't be surprising if the Warriors played it safe and rested him again. The fact that he's even questionable to play is encouraging but we won't learn his availability until closer to tip-off.

Wed Apr 9 201415:23David Lee goes through practice on Wednesday
David Lee (hamstring) went through at least some portions of practice on Wednesday.
As it stands right now, he is unlikely to play for Thursday. That could change with this development with Lee practicing today, though. This does come as a bit of a surprise and it's encouraging news on his outlook, but we would still consider him slightly doubtful to take on the Nuggets. If he's out, Draymond Green would be a nice play on a two-game night.

Tue Apr 8 201415:41David Lee (hamstring) expected to sit Thurs.
David Lee (hamstring, nerve irritation) is expected to miss Thursday's game vs. the Nuggets.
Lee didn't practice on Tuesday and there is no clear timetable for his return. Draymond Green has been a solid fantasy option over the Warriors' past six games, averaging 9.0 points on 46 percent shooting, 1.0 threes, 7.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks. Interestingly, he hasn't attempted a single free throw during that span. Keep Green active while we await updates on Lee's balky hamstring.

Mon Apr 7 201413:02David Lee (nerves) has no firm return date
David Lee (nerve inflammation) has no timetable for his return and coach Mark Jackson left open the possibility that he'll miss games in the postseason.
Lee has been out since injuring his hamstring in late March, and a recent MRI revealed the nerve issue. When Jackson was explicitly asked whether Lee will be healthy for the start of the playoffs, he replied, "I don't know that. I haven't been part of that dialogue. That hasn't been something we've discussed. He's doing everything and it seemed like he'd be ready and he's not." That's vague enough to leave room for doubt, but it sounds like Lee will be on the shelf for at least a few more regular season games.

Fri Apr 4 201409:36David Lee questionable for Friday
David Lee (hamstring) is very questionable for Friday's game against the Kings.
Lee's comments from Thursday are not encouraging. "I'm able to jump, I'm able to slide or do things like that, it's just when I go to sprint or explode and go 100 percent, it still is really tight on me and it's catching," he said. With the playoffs on the horizon, we wouldn't expect the Warriors to push Lee at all. Look for Draymond Green to get another start at power forward.

Wed Apr 2 201419:18David Lee (hamstring) will not play vs. Spurs
David Lee (hamstring) will not play against the Spurs on Wednesday night.
Even though Lee traveled for the road game, he never really had a chance to play. This will be his fourth game on the sidelines and he should be considered slightly doubtful to play on Friday vs. the Kings. Draymond Green will likely get the start and seems like an important piece against a team like the Spurs.
