Sat Mar 15 201422:09Randy Foye scores eight in loss to Hawks
Randy Foye hit just 2-of-6 shots and two 3-pointers for eight points and two assists on Saturday.
Foye has really cooled off lately and had seven points against the Heat on Friday. He'll get hot again at some point, but it doesn't look like a good idea to throw him into fantasy lineups right now.

Sat Mar 15 201402:03Foye posts another dud against the Heat
Randy Foye played just 24 minutes and finished with seven points, one three and one assist in Friday's win over the Heat.
Foye carried a ton of load for a month or two and even played while hurt, so we wouldn't be surprised if all of that has caught up to him. Owners would be wise to simply bench him considering the tremendous upside he displayed in that span. If he can't get it together soon then we'll start talking about a cut.

Wed Mar 12 201422:33Randy Foye in a slump, scores three points
Randy Foye made just one of his six attempts from the field for three points with three boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
This was his third consecutive dud in a row after combined for just 16 points in his previous two games. Foye's shot from deep hasn't dropped in this slump, making just 2-of-16 (12.5 percent). His minutes took a huge dive tonight and the 26 were his most since Jan. 13. He has played way more minutes this season than in any previous year, but it'll take more than a three-game slump to say he's starting to wear down. His fantasy owners should stick with him.

Mon Mar 10 201421:37Foye slowing down with Lawson back
Randy Foye scored nine points on 4-of-8 shooting (no threes) with four rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes on Monday.
Whether it's Foye's quad slowing him down or the return of Ty Lawson has set him back a bit, it's not surprising to see him ease off the accelerator now that reinforcements have arrived. He's still producing at a mid-round level over the last week or so and belongs in lineups unless things worsen.

Wed Mar 5 201421:16Randy Foye hurts left quad on Wednesday
Randy Foye hurt his left quad in the first half of Wednesday's game and was treated by the training staff on the bench.
He took a knee from Samuel Dalembert and the injury doesn't sound serious. We'll keep you posted on whether Foye returns or the team updates his status.

Fri Feb 28 201401:45Randy Foye scores team-high 15 points
Randy Foye scored a team-high 15 points during Thursday's 112-89 loss to the Nets with four boards, three assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
The move back to shooting guard has really boosted his output in his last four, averaging 20.5 points, 1.0 steals and 4.0 triples. Foye has been tearing it up for all of 2014 and ranks third in 3-pointers during this calendar year. He's as must own as it gets in standard leagues and has a great chance to stay in the top five for treys with great numbers across the board.

Wed Feb 26 201400:20Randy Foye leads Nuggets with 17 points
Randy Foye started at shooting guard again on Tuesday and had 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal and three 3-pointers in a loss to Portland.
He's scoring more now that Aaron Brooks has taken over the point guard duties (for Ty Lawson, who is out with a broken rib), and is averaging 19.75 points, 4.25 assists, 0.75 steals, 0.75 blocks and 4.0 3-pointers over his last four games. He appears to be set to put up big fantasy numbers the rest of the way.

Sun Feb 23 201423:01Randy Foye gets back in his groove at SG
Randy Foye moved back to shooting guard on Sunday vs. the Kings with 27 points, six boards, one assist and six 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
That's more like it. Foye has thrived in almost all of 2014 as the shooting guard and he picked up right where he left off. He was flirting with third-round value for about a month before he was moved out of position, so he's almost a lock to be a top-50 player the rest of the way in standard formats.

Fri Feb 21 201423:15Foye scores 23 points in blowout loss
Randy Foye scored 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting (including five threes) with three assists, one steal and six turnovers in Friday's blowout loss.
Foye and Aaron Brooks (7-of-11 FGs, 17 points, one block, one three, one assist, 28 minutes) where the only ones to do anything for Brian Shaw and Denver management's sinking ship. Kenneth Faried went for eight and seven and really could have used a change of scenery at the deadline, Wilson Chandler put up four points and one block in a whopping 31 minutes, J.J. Hickson was terrible with six and three with one unlikely steal and three unusual blocks, and Evan Fournier went for nine and eight in the loss.

Thu Feb 20 201423:45Randy Foye double-doubles vs. Bucks
Randy Foye started at point guard for the fourth consecutive game on Thursday with 12 points, 10 assists, two blocks, one steal and two 3-pointers.
He might actually be missing Ty Lawson (ribs) and has not found his stroke in his last four games, making just 27.1 percent of his shots in that span. Foye was putting up elite value for over a month before the Lawson injury and coach Brian Shaw has been playing him a ridiculous amount of minutes compared to his career, so there might be a small buy-low window here.

Wed Feb 19 201402:14Randy Foye quiet in 40 minutes of action
Randy Foye returned from a personal leave and played 40 minutes on Tuesday, finishing with eight points, five assists, three steals and a block, hitting 3-of-11 shots in a loss to the Suns.
Foye has been dealing with an ankle injury and his heavy minutes may be catching up to him. But the minutes are there and he'll start at point guard as long as Ty Lawson is out with a broken rib, and should then start at shooting guard once Lawson is back. He'll get hot again, so don't cut him despite his recent struggles.

Mon Feb 17 201423:54Randy Foye (personal) away from team
Randy Foye was excused from practice due to a personal emergency but is expected to play against the Suns on Tuesday.
It is believed to be for a family emergency and hopefully everything is fine. In less serious news, Foye's ankle is back to normal after a sprain from last week. His owners can plan on putting him in their lineups and should check back for an update at morning shootaround.

Thu Feb 13 201401:06Randy Foye plays, struggles through injury
Randy Foye played through his ankle injury on Wednesday, but hit just 3-of-12 shots for 10 points, four assists, another block and two 3-pointers.
Foye is banged up with ankle and hamstring injuries, but admirably is playing through the discomfort. Hopefully he can get back to full health over the break. With another block tonight he's now racked up six of them over his last five games, to go along with 16 3-pointers. Despite the off night, we still consider him a must-own player.

Wed Feb 12 201417:20Randy Foye will play at less than 100 percent
Randy Foye (ankle, hamstring) will play through injuries against the Wolves on Wednesday.
He went through shootaround and admitted he will be at less than 100 percent. The Nuggets are out of options at point guard and will have to play Foye as much as he can tonight. Their situation at shooting guard is a mess with Quincy Miller, Evan Fournier and Jordan Hamilton as options. Foye should be in all lineups tonight.

Mon Feb 10 201421:24Randy Foye struggles vs. Indiana Monday
Randy Foye suffered a minor ankle injury against the Pacers on Monday, finishing with nine points, 10 assists and one 3-pointer on 34 minutes.
He rolled his right ankle and limped to the bench under his own power during the first quarter. Foye was getting loose along the bench and only missed about two minutes of action in real time. Foye looked pretty spry out there and his ankle likely was not the reason for his sub-par game. He should be fine for Wednesday.

Mon Feb 10 201419:51Randy Foye suffers right ankle injury
Randy Foye suffered a right ankle injury against the Pacers in the first quarter and returned two minutes later.
Those two minutes are in real time and he looks to be fine. Foye stubbled in transition and had a minor tweak. We'll let you know how he looks following the game.

Sat Feb 8 201422:52Randy Foye hits for 25 points, 5 3-pointers
Fandy Foye came through again with 25 points, five rebounds, three assists, a block and five more 3-pointers on Saturday.
Ty Lawson left with a back injury which could mean even better things for Foye, although he was already crushing it with Lawson healthy. Foye is a blast to own right now, as he's averaging 16.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game over his last five, and has also dropped 16 3-pointers and seven blocks during that stretch. We're not sure where the blocks are coming from, but with Lawson's back acting up, there is no reason to think Foye won't keep it going. Enjoy the ride if you picked him up recently.

Sat Feb 8 201418:18Randy Foye to play through sore hamstring
Randy Foye will play on Saturday despite battling a minor hamstring injury, according to coach Brian Shaw.
Foye has played at least 40 minutes in four of Denver's past five games and it's not surprising to hear that he's dealing with a nagging injury given his heavy workload. He's coming off a game with 13 points and three 3-pointers on Friday and should be a safe source of points and perimeter shooting, but we'll keep an eye on him just in case he aggravates his injury vs. Detroit.

Thu Feb 6 201402:58Randy Foye plays 44 minutes in win
Randy Foye, who hit the game-winner on Tuesday, played a whopping 44 minutes for 20 points, three rebounds, six assists, a steal, a career-high four blocks and five 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.
He hit just 5-of-14 shots, but if you picked him up recently, you have to be thrilled with his minutes and results. We are a bit concerned that he's going to break, as he's played 40 or more minutes in four straight games, but that also means that he's going to put up some nice digits. Ride him until the wheels fall off.

Tue Feb 4 201402:20Randy Foye hits 30-foot game winner at buzzer
Randy Foye buried a 30-foot jumper at the buzzer to give the Nuggets a 116-115 win over the Clippers, finishing with 14 points, seven boards, four assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 40 minutes.
He caught the ball on the wing and used a high screen to get a good look at the basket from very long distance. Foye has been one of the more prolific shooters in the past few years, but this was his first buzzer-beating game winner of his NBA career. The other surprise was the high minutes total. Foye has not averaged over 28 minutes in any of his previous four seasons, but he's played over 40 in three consecutive games. We knew he was going to be good, but he's as must-own as it gets right now.
