Axelrod, 26, posted a 2.69 ERA and 132/35 K/BB ratio over 150 2/3 innings this season between Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte. Despite the impressive numbers, he is not considered a top prospect. He could make a spot start if the White Sox decide to shut down Jake Peavy, but those in fantasy leagues are advised to look elsewhere. | ||||||
