Taillon still has a way to go in his recovery from Tommy John surgery, but he will take a big step when he gets back on a mound. Expect him to be assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis when the Pirates determine he is ready for game action -- likely sometime during the summer. | ||||||

The Pirates are expected to be ultra conservative with Taillon, who underwent Tommy John surgery in April. His recovery continues to progress well -- he's throwing from 120 feet and pitching off flat ground -- but GM Neal Huntington has repeatedly stated that the organization is more concerned with his long-term future than rushing him back for 2015. | ||||||
