Thu Feb 23 201217:34Nick Collison a game-time call Thursday
Nick Collison (quad) is listed as a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Lakers.
Collison has missed two straight games. The Thunder could certainly use his defensive prowess against Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum Thursday.

Wed Feb 22 201213:28Nick Collison out again on Wednesday vs. BOS
Nick Collison (quad) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Celtics.
Collison missed Monday's game as well with the injury, and the Thunder don't want to rush him back before he's ready. Serge Ibaka should see an increased run once again and has really picked up his play of late.

Mon Feb 20 201218:59Nick Collison out on Monday
Nick Collison (quad) is out for Monday's game against the Hornets.
Collison played his usual 20 minutes in Sunday night's overtime win over the Nuggets, so he must have woken up sore. Shot-blocking machine Serge Ibaka will get a boost in minutes.

Wed Jan 25 201213:08Nick Collison (ankle) will play on Wednesday
Nick Collison (ankle) will play on Wednesday.
Collison suffered an ankle injury on Monday and did not return to the game. He'll be fine going forward and will continue to hurt Serge Ibaka's fantasy value in Scott Brooks' rotation.

Sun Jan 8 201221:24Collison, Ibaka again split minutes for OKC
Nick Collison double-doubled off Oklahoma City's bench on Sunday, scoring 12 points with 10 rebounds, two assists and zero turnovers in 22 minutes.
Not coincidentally, Serge Ibaka (10 points, five rebounds, three blocks) also played 22 minutes. Fantasy owners probably wish Collison would retire, or demand a trade, but as long as he's around it seems coach Scott Brooks will persist in splitting minutes between his PFs.

Fri Dec 30 201101:39Nick Collison still quiet on the bench
Nick Collison scored eight points on 4-of-4 shooting with three rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench on Thursday.
This is his best showing of the year on the stat sheet, as Collison is a guy whose worth in reality is much greater than it is in fantasy.

Sun May 22 201110:47Thunder dig hole too deep for backups to fill
Nick Collison and James Harden were the only Thunder reserves to score during Game 3, after the starters handed over a 20-point deficit.
OKC has trailed after one quarter in 11 of their 15 playoff games this year. Kendrick Perkins said the team didn't trust one another enough, Collison said the team wasn't focused to start the game, and mastermind Scott Brooks concluded that his team "just did not play well from the start." OKC attempted double the free throws that the Mavericks did (36-18) but shot only 37% thanks partly to Brooks' unimaginative play-calling.

Sun May 15 201118:17Collison instrumental in Game 7 win for OKC
Nick Collison was instrumental in the Thunder's 105-90 Game 7 victory over Memphis, scoring eight points to pair with 12 rebounds, a steal and three blocks.
Collison played a whopping 33 minutes off of the bench and relegated Serge Ibaka (2 points, 1 rebound & 1 block in 13 minutes) an afterthought in the dominant victory. It's possible that Ibaka's ankle is still bothering him, but if the veteran continues to play this well he may see more minutes than Ibaka regardless of health.

Wed May 4 201101:20Collison steps up in Ibaka's absence
Nick Collison got some extra playing time when Serge Ibaka exited with a knee injury in Tuesday's Game 2 win, and played excellent defense while also scoring seven points with seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block in 25 minutes.
He was a big reason the Grizzlies frontcourt struggled, and if he continues to provide this type of boost off the bench the Thunder are going to be difficult to beat. As we've seen many times before, championship teams always have guys like him that do the dirty work.

Thu Mar 31 201102:10Collison quiet in return from ankle injury
Nick Collison returned to action on Wednesday from a sprained ankle and had six points, three boards and a block in the win.
As long as Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka are healthy, Collison has no fantasy value.

Tue Mar 29 201113:09Collinson out Tuesday with sprained ankle
Nick Collison will not play in Tuesday's game against the Warriors due to a sprained ankle.
Collison was averaging 23.5 minutes a night off the bench over the last 14 games. Nazr Mohammed and Serge Ibaka will pick up some extra minutes tonight.

Mon Mar 14 201122:33Collison (ankle) returns to action on Monday
Nick Collison played through a sore ankle on Monday, scoring four points on 1-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes.
This type of line should be a familiar sight with Kendrick Perkins back in the fold, and coming off the bench, Collison should be ignored in standard formats.

Mon Mar 14 201119:20Collison active for the Thunder on Monday
Nick Collison, who twisted his ankle in Sunday's game, is active and ready to play on Monday against the Wizards.
With Kendrick Perkins back, he will see even less minutes than he was seeing before, and becomes an untenable option in most fantasy leagues as a result.

Sun Mar 13 201119:43Collison twists his ankle
Nick Collison twisted his right ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's win over the Cavs.
After the game, Collison admitted that he isn't sure if he'll be able to play on Monday. His absence would open up more minutes for Serge Ibaka and Nazr Mohammed, assuming Kendrick Perkins (knee) doesn't make his debut Monday.

Wed Mar 9 201123:16Nick Collison double-doubles off bench
Nick Collison had 13 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes on Wednesday.
He's playing a lot of center, as well as back up power forward with Jeff Green in Boston and Kendrick Perkins injured. Perk will be back in the near future, meaning Collison has a very short shelf life. What is amazing though, is that this Collison is actually playing better than his namesake in Indy.

Sat Feb 26 201103:26Collison starts for injured Perkins (knee)
Nick Collison started for injured Kendrick Perkins (knee) on Friday, scoring eight points on 2-of-8 shooting with two rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 25 minutes.
He will be better than this on most nights that he doesn't have to deal with Dwight Howard, and if you're in a pinch down low he is worth a look for the next week or so until Perkins returns.
Tue Dec 21 201023:12Collison plays 29 minutes vs. CHA
Nick Collison logged 29 minutes against the Bobcats on Tuesday, scoring seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with 10 rebounds, one assist, and three steals.
He has put up serviceable numbers for a big man in his last three games regardless of format, but that should change once Nenad Krstic (back) returns to claim his 20 minutes per night. Give Collison a look if you're in a deeper format, but leave him alone otherwise.
Sun Dec 19 201022:07Nick Collison scores 19 points off OKC bench
Thunder big man Nick Collison played well on Sunday, scoring 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting, and earned nearly 30 minutes for his efforts.
That playing time came at the expense of starting center Serge Ibaka (11 minutes) though there's no indication that a permanent change is in the works. For now, Collison remains a mediocre PF/C only worth watching in deeper fantasy formats.
Sat Dec 18 201000:20Nick Collison plays well in Thunder win
Nick Collison had 12 points, eight rebounds, a steal and a block in 22 minutes of Friday's win.
He's been quiet all season, but could be ready to start getting more opportunity. Just keep him in the back of your mind. The very back.
