Sat Dec 8 201206:55Gordon scores eight points on Friday
Ben Gordon scored eight points on 3-of-9 shooting (no threes) with one rebound in 15 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Gordon is streaky and now he's also in a log-jam in the backcourt. Yes, he was in a hot streak, but owners can probably move on relatively safely now that he has come back to earth.

Wed Dec 5 201222:46Ben Gordon stays hot in loss to Knicks
Ben Gordon stayed hot on Wednesday, hitting three more 3-pointers for 17 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal on 7-of-15 shooting off the Bobcats bench.
With Gordon and Kemba Walker so hot, and Gerald Henderson back and playing well, it remains to be seen how relevant Jeff Taylor will be going forward. He started at shooting guard again and played 40 minutes, but had just six points. If the Bobcats decide to go small, which could happen, Byron Mullens could find himself on the bench going forward, which is where he was tonight. As for Gordon, he's hot enough he should be owned in all leagues after hitting 21 3-pointers in his last four games.

Mon Dec 3 201222:10Ben Gordon hits eight 3-pointers on Monday
Ben Gordon was hot off the bench on Monday and had 29 points with five assists, one steal and eight 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Blazers.
Gordon has been filling it up from beyond the arc with 18 triples in his last three games. Gerald Henderson returned tonight and saw just 15 minutes, so Gordon isn't likely going to maintain a 35-minute allotment. B.G. is worth owning in most leagues while he's hot, but his owners shouldn't get too attached to him.

Ben Gordon scored 19 points off the bench on Friday against the Sixers, hitting 8-of-15 shots (including three treys) with four rebounds, five assists, and one block in 33 minutes.
Gordon is always worth a short-term look while he is hot and now is one of those times. Just realize that minutes are about to get tighter with Gerald Henderson (foot) set to return sooner rather than later.

Ben Gordon hit 7-of-11 shots, all 3-pointers, for 26 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
Gordon also hit all five of his free throws, but hasn't scored in double digits in consecutive games since Nov. 10. And when Gerald Henderson returns, Gordon's consistency should continue to be an issue. Just keep an eye on him.

BG has been struggling for most of the season, hitting just 41 percent of his FGs, but he found a groove tonight. Unfortunately, any momentum he gains will likely vanish once Gerald Henderson (foot) returns and soaks up minutes at SG.

Fri Nov 23 201222:02Ben Gordon hits 1-of-8 shots in loss
Ben Gordon hit just 1-of-8 shots for four points in 16 minutes on Friday.
Jeff Taylor continues to start with Gerald Henderson out and Gordon hasn't really lived up to the hype. And once Henderson is back, it's hard to imagine Gordon seeing enough minutes to warrant attention in most fantasy leagues.

Ben Gordon (knee) will play on Wednesday against the Raptors.
There was a last second change to the lineup and owners likely didn't get this update in time. Coming off the bench we'll monitor his progress, but owners of Ramon Sessions and Kemba Walker shouldn't be too worried.

Ben Gordon (knee) will not participate in shootaround and is unlikely to play on Wednesday.
Gordon suffered a right knee contusion on Monday, and beat writer Rick Bonnell is typically very in-tune with everything as it relates to the Bobcats. With Gordon shelved, Ramon Sessions is a must-own player.

Sat Nov 17 201211:33Ben Gordon rejoins Bobcats at shootaround
Ben Gordon (family emergency) was spotted at shootaround Saturday after being away from the Bobcats since Tuesday.
Gordon's absence didn't have to do with injury, so it would make sense to assume he'll be dressed for Saturday's game against the Grizzlies. It's unclear how Gordon's return will affect Ramon Sessions' playing time. We'll let you know as soon as we hear official word.

Wed Nov 14 201214:52Ben Gordon not with Bobcats in Minnesota
Ben Gordon (family emergency) will not play Wednesday night against the Wolves.
Gordon left the team Tuesday and there's been no information given on the nature of the emergency or a possible return. With Gordon out, Ramon Sessions, who scored 21 points and added five rebounds, two assists and a 3-pointer Tuesday, will get a boost again against the Wolves.

Tue Nov 13 201219:44Ben Gordon leaves with family emergency
Ben Gordon has left Tuesday's game due to a family emergency and it's possible he won't play at all tonight.
The fact there's even a chance he could play in the second half seems like a stretch to us, but he hasn't officially been ruled out, despite the fact the game is in the second quarter. If Gordon's out, Ramon Sessions will see a boost.

Sat Nov 10 201222:56Ben Gordon scores 11 points on Saturday
Ben Gordon scored 11 points, adding two assists and two threes in 20 minutes in Saturday's win over the Mavericks.
He's coming off a 34-point explosion on Friday and he cooled off tonight by shooting just 4-of-14 from the field. He and Ramon Sessions are sharing time, so their upsides will be capped a little even though there's an opportunity for minutes with Gerald Henderson (foot) out of the lineup.

Sat Nov 10 201203:25Ben Gordon scores 34 points vs. Hornets
Ben Gordon scored a season-high 34 points on 14-of-21 shooting (including three treys) with six rebounds and four assists in 35 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Hornets.
Gordon is hot right now and deserves a pickup in most formats based on the strength of this line, but keep in mind that Gerald Henderson could return in as soon as two weeks and Gordon is a streaky guy.

Ben Gordon scored 10 points and hit two 3-point shots off the bench on Friday, hitting 4-of-8 shots overall with two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes.
We'd like to see more minutes before buying into any Sixth Man talk, but if you need some 3-point shooting in an 8-cat league go ahead and give him a look.

Wed Oct 31 201210:02Bobcats want Ben Gordon to be closer
The Bobcats want Ben Gordon to be a "closer" at the end of games, and he will open the season as the team's sixth man.
"The thing I know about Ben is that he's a closer of games," Mike Dunlap said. "He has that reputation." Gordon is ready to embrace the challenge saying "that's something I've done throughout my career," and although he'll begin the year in a sixth man role, Gordon is expected to have a large role with his new team. Gordon can certainly score, and the Bobcats need all of the help they can get on offense. We know he'll be on the floor in the fourth quarter as the closer.
