Tucker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Tucker going 0-for-11 over his last three starts, manager A.J. Hinch elected to rest the slumping outfielder in favor of Colby Rasmus. It's the second time in four games that Tucker will find himself on the bench, but with Rasmus failing thus far to take advantage of the opportunity to pick up at-bats, Tucker still enjoys some level of job security. The 24-year-old has been impressive on the whole since his early-May promotion, slashing .263/.330/.438 across 88 plate appearances.

Tucker is out of the lineup Thursday, the Houston Chronicle's Evan Drellich reports.

The Astros will give Jonathan Villar a rare start in left field with lefty Wei-Yin Chen on the hill for the Orioles. Tucker's batting average finally dipped below .300 after going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Wednesday, but he is still a guy who seems to have earned semi-regular playing time for Houston.

Tucker will hit third and get the start in left field Tuesday.

Tucker has been rewarded for swinging a hot bat and move into a prime spot in the Astros' lineup Tuesday. He has two home runs in his last five games and is slashing .341/.426/.585 through just 47 plate appearances.

Tucker hit a game-tying solo home run off Tigers closer Joakim Soria during Thursday's 6-5 loss at Detroit.

Tucker, who came on as a pinch-hitter for Jonathan Villar with the Astros trailing 5-4 in the ninth inning, hit his first Major League home run off one of the most reliable closers in baseball. He's been impressive for the Astros thus far, hitting .310/.412/.552 over 29 at-bats.

Tucker is not in the starting lineup Wednesday against the A's.

Colby Rasmus, who started in center field Tuesday night, will slide over to left field in Tucker's stead. He'll be flanked by Jake Marisnick in center field and George Springer in right, while Tucker takes a seat after two consecutive starts.

Tucker is making his third consecutive start Saturday and will bat fifth in the lineup.

Tucker will play left field for the second game in a row after serving as the Astros' DH on Thursday. He is yet to notch his first major league home run, but is batting .333 in six games since being called up from Triple-A Fresno last week.

Tucker served as Houston's DH Thursday and had two doubles among three hits in a 6-4 win over Toronto.

Tucker, who the Astros elected to keep on the roster as their fourth outfielder upon George Springer's return from the 7-day DL, raised his batting average to .286 with the three-hit performance. He also drove in his third run of the season. Tucker was one of the hottest hitters in the minors before his promotion and could be a sneaky fantasy contributor if he finds his way to regular at-bats.

Tucker went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI single during his MLB debut Thursday against the Angels.

Tucker attributed to Houston's ninth-inning rally with an RBI single off Angels' closer Huston Street. The 24-year-old outfielder got off to a blistering start with Triple-A Fresno this season, hitting .320 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI over 25 games, but his stay with the Astros may be short-lived depending on how quickly George Springer (concussion) recovers.
