Bass was left open on the baseline on a number of occasions, and he made the Knicks pay. His ankle injury doesn't seem too serious, but we will let you know if that changes. We preached patience, and this is exactly why. He should be added in all 12-team leagues.

Sat Mar 3 201200:19Bass limited by foul trouble against Nets
Brandon Bass was stymied by early foul trouble against the Nets on Friday, and finished with eight points on 4-of-6 shooting, three rebounds, and two blocks in 25 minutes.
Obviously, this isn't paying the bills for owners that recently added Bass, but we'd recommend some patience here. He's locked into a starting job and will have starter's minutes going forward, which makes him a near-lock for low-end value in 12-team formats.

Brandon Bass is expected to start in place of Jermaine O'Neal (wrist) Tuesday.

His knee is healthy and he's averaging 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds in just 29.0 minutes on the season. As long as he's starting, Bass projects for 30-plus minutes with ease.
