His subsidiary offensive role this season will knock Knight a few rounds in standard leagues, but Bledsoe has had right knee issues dating back to his time with the Clippers, and Knight could see his value fluctuate accordingly.

Knight and the Suns agreed to terms on a five-year, $70 million extension Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout year as a member of the Bucks last season before being dealt to Phoenix at the trade deadline. An ankle injury limited him to only 11 games in a Suns uniform, but Phoenix apparently saw enough to offer a long-term deal. Knight averaged just 13.4 points and 4.5 assists in those 11 games. Assuming Eric Bledsoe isn't dealt, Knight figures to team with Bledsoe to keep the all-Kentucky backcourt intact.

Knight was traded from Milwaukee to Phoenix after the All-Star break. In 11 regular season games with the Suns he averaged 13.4 points (36% FG, 31% 3 Pt, 83% FT), 1.9 three-pointers, 4.5 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.5 steals in 32 minutes per game in 2014-15. He is a restricted free agent this summer.

Before being traded, Knight was having an outstanding season with the Bucks averaging 17.8 points (44% FG, 41% 3Pt, 88% FT), 2.0 three-pointers, 5.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 33 minutes per game for 52 games. Once he departed for Phoenix, though, Knight's season went into a downward spiral. The 23-year-old had begun adapting to his new team in early March, but a left ankle sprain and heel bone bruise put him out for the rest of the season. He underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle to address the issue, but at this point his future is up in the air in Phoenix. Knight's value could change depending on where he lands for the 2015-16 season, but when healthy, he should be a top 50 player in standard leagues.

As a result, coach Jeff Hornacek will continue to ride P.J. Tucker and Marcus Morris on the wing.

Knight will sit out for the 11th time in 12 games as he continues to nurse an ankle/heal injury. He's without a timetable and will continue to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis. Expect Marcus Morris to remain in the starting lineup in his place.
