"When you sprain your ankle you never really know how bad it will be," said Knight, who is averaging 30.3 points, 10 rebounds and 8.3 assists in his last three games. "I had surgery on the same ankle this summer so that's why I was a little scared. I was able to come back and tape it up."

G Brandon Knight got his first career triple-double Monday, collecting 30 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 15 assists . Knight became just the fourth NBA player to record at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists and four steals since the steals statistic became official in 1973-74. The others are Pete Maravich (1975), Magic Johnson (1981) and Russell Westbrook (March of last season). The only other Sun to collect 30 points, 10 rebounds and 15 assists in a game was Charlie Scott more than 40 years ago (1972).

G Brandon Knight tied a career high with 37 points in the Suns' win over the Clippers. Knight shot 14-for-22 from the field and made six of 10 3-point field-goal attempts while tying a career best set with the Bucks on Dec. 31, 2013, against the Lakers."They were pretty consistent with what I have been getting," Knight said of his shots. "The same shots I got the first time we played the Clippers. They just went down tonight. Just continuing to be consistent and confident and work on my game. Those shots will fall."

G Brandon Knight atoned for a scoreless first half by scoring 17 second-half points in the Suns' win over the Kings. Knight led the charge during a 32-point third quarter in which the Suns took control and led by as many as 21 points. "I didn't make shots in the first half (0-for-4), but I stayed in the game, continued to play hard and do other things to help," said Knight, who scored 12 points in the third quarter. "I wanted to try to continue to be aggressive in the third, and if we can shoot the three like that along with running the floor and getting easy ones, we'll be a very good offensive team."

Knight (ankle) was spotted last week participating in voluntary workouts at the Suns' facility, the Arizona Republic reports.
This report verifies Knight's statement from earlier this summer about fully healing from an ankle injury that limited him to 11 games with the Suns post-trade deadline. With Eric Bledsoe penciled in as the lead guard, Knight will have a difficult time replicating last season's performance during his tenure with the Bucks.

Knight (ankle) is progressing well from left ankle surgery and should be ready for the start of the season, the Arizona Republic reports. "[The ankle is] doing good," Knight said in a radio interview. "I'm back to working out and moving around and stuff so I'm just trying to get my legs back up under me so that, by the time the season rolls around, I'll be good."
Knight only played in 11 games after joining the Suns and shot career-lows of 36 percent from the field and 31 percent from the three-point line in that timeframe. He underwent successful surgery directly after the season, and it's apparent he'll be fully healthy by training camp. Paired next to Eric Bledsoe, Knight saw a noticeable decline in his rebounds, assist percentage, and usage rate. His subsidiary offensive role this season will knock Knight a few rounds in standard leagues, but Bledsoe has had right knee issues dating back to his time with the Clippers, and Knight could see his value fluctuate accordingly.
Wed Jul 1 201515:01Brandon Knight: Signs Five-Year, $70 Million Extension
Knight and the Suns agreed to terms on a five-year, $70 million extension Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a breakout year as a member of the Bucks last season before being dealt to Phoenix at the trade deadline. An ankle injury limited him to only 11 games in a Suns uniform, but Phoenix apparently saw enough to offer a long-term deal. Knight averaged just 13.4 points and 4.5 assists in those 11 games. Assuming Eric Bledsoe isn't dealt, Knight figures to team with Bledsoe to keep the all-Kentucky backcourt intact.
Tue Jun 16 201515:45Knight traded from Milwaukee to Phoenix after All-Star break
Knight was traded from Milwaukee to Phoenix after the All-Star break. In 11 regular season games with the Suns he averaged 13.4 points (36% FG, 31% 3 Pt, 83% FT), 1.9 three-pointers, 4.5 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.5 steals in 32 minutes per game in 2014-15. He is a restricted free agent this summer.
Before being traded, Knight was having an outstanding season with the Bucks averaging 17.8 points (44% FG, 41% 3Pt, 88% FT), 2.0 three-pointers, 5.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 33 minutes per game for 52 games. Once he departed for Phoenix, though, Knight's season went into a downward spiral. The 23-year-old had begun adapting to his new team in early March, but a left ankle sprain and heel bone bruise put him out for the rest of the season. He underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle to address the issue, but at this point his future is up in the air in Phoenix. Knight's value could change depending on where he lands for the 2015-16 season, but when healthy, he should be a top 50 player in standard leagues.

Knight (ankle) is expected to make a full recovery from a minor procedure that addressed an irritating anterior flap of cartilage, The Arizona Republic reports.
Knight had the arthroscopic surgery performed Friday and there's no concern for his viability heading into next year because of the extended resting time he'll be able to get during the offseason. The 23-year-old is in line to be a restricted free agent this summer and the Suns will have to decide on whether or not they want to retain the efforts of Knight moving forward.

Knight (ankle) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left ankle Friday, the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro reports.
This was to take care of an injury that kept Knight out for the last 11 games of the regular season. He is a free agent this summer, and the injury could slightly lessen his price on the open market. There is no timetable available for his return, but that should become clearer in the coming months before any keeper decisions are due in long-term leagues.
Tue Apr 14 201516:08Knight (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against Clippers
Knight (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
As expected, Knight will remain out for Tuesday's season finale, capping off a disappointing stint with the Suns. Knight came over from Milwaukee at the trade deadline but appeared in only 11 games, 10 of which came before a severe ankle injury on Mar. 9. A restricted free agent this offseason, Knight should draw considerable interest, and it remains to be seen whether the Suns will look to keep him on the roster going forward.
Mon Apr 6 201516:02Brandon Knight: (Ankle) Likely Out For Season
Knight (ankle) is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a heel bone bruise, the Arizona Republic reports. "It's a tough situation," he said. "If it feels better, we'll see what happens but I'm in no rush to come back and make any worse. You can't just keep pounding on a bruise and have it get better."
With five contests remaining on the schedule and no end in sight to a full recovery, Knight is certainly a candidate to miss the remainder of the season. He won't join the Suns on their four-game road trip Tuesday through Sunday and isn't expected to play in the season finale on Tuesday, Apr. 14 against the Clippers. As a result, coach Jeff Hornacek will continue to ride P.J. Tucker and Marcus Morris on the wing.
Sat Apr 4 201514:30Knight (ankle) will not play Saturday against Jazz
Knight (ankle) will not play Saturday against the Jazz, Paul Coro of the Arizona Republic reports.
Knight will sit out for the 11th time in 12 games as he continues to nurse an ankle/heal injury. He's without a timetable and will continue to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis. Expect Marcus Morris to remain in the starting lineup in his place.
