Acy has a sprained right wrist and is probable for Tuesday's game.
He got the start Sunday for the second straight game, but only played 20 minutes, attempting just four shots, so his upside is limited in fantasy.

Acy started for the Knicks on Sunday, with 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists.
He started for the second time in a row, but was the polar opposite of himself on Thursday. The amount of minutes seem to be a stabilizing factor, which should leave enough room for Acy to grow into this role. Keep an eye out for any signs of consistency against the Wizards and Pistons before making a value judgment on Acy.

Acy played 22 minutes as a starter for New York and contributed eight points (4-7 FG), 10 rebounds, and two assists in the win over the Cavaliers on Thursday. He fouled out.
Had he not accrued so many fouls, Acy may have been able to contribute more counting numbers. He is not a very skilled offensive player, but is a powerful presence in the paint. The former Raptor can also provide some low post defense, which is a rarity for New York.

Acy will start at power forward in Thursday's game against the Cavaliers, Newsday reports.
Acy's starting birth will result in Amar'e Stoudemire coming off the Knicks' bench Thursday night. A rugged rebounder, Acy should help the Knicks on the glass, but in comparison to Stoudemire and reserve Jason Smith, Acy is less noted for his offensive ability.

Acy returned from a preseason wrist injury and played 21 minutes off the bench for the Knicks against the Bulls.
Both Acy and Jason Smith were passed up for the starting power forward spot in favor of Amar'e Stoudemire, who started the game and played 24 minutes. Acy finished the game with six rebounds, six points and a block, though, so he could work his way into some more time as the season progresses.

Contrary to an earlier report, Acy (wrist) should be in a bench role to start the season.
There was an erroneous report that Acy could still be challenging for the starting power forward spot for the Knicks' season opener, but it's believed Jason Smith has the inside track to start Wednesday, leaving Acy to come off the bench and likely to receive limited minutes. If Smith struggles or falls prey to injury, Acy could step into a larger role at some point this season.
Wed Oct 29 201407:58Acy favorite to start at power forward this season
Acy is the favorite to start at power forward this season, the New York Post reports. He returned from a wrist injury in the final preseason game for the Knicks and seems ready to go Wednesday.
Marc Berman of the Post wrote that Acy is the "leading candidate" at the position over Andrea Bargnani and Amar'e Stoudemire, especially with Bargani's injury that is keeping him out for the first three games of the season. Owners won't know for sure who is starting until game time against the Bulls.

Acy did not play in Wednesday's preseason game due to a sore right wrist, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Acy started four games for the Knicks during the preseason, but he was unable to go Wednesday night. He will have a week to rest and recover until the Knicks kick off the regular season next Wednesday against the Bulls.
Wed Aug 6 201416:53Acy traded from Kings to Knicks on Wednesday
Acy was traded from the Kings to the Knicks on Wednesday, USA Today reports.
Acy is a rugged forward that has averaged just 12.9 minutes per game during his two-year career spent with the Raptors and Kings thus far. Nonetheless, he's noted for his rebounding ability, an area the Knicks could use some help. Expect Acy to work for spare minutes as a reserve front-court player this season.
Tue Jul 22 201410:05Sacramento Kings may bring back Quincy Acy
The Kings have until Saturday to decide whether or not they will bring Quincy Acy back.
Acy has a team option for approximately $915,000 and the Kings are considering bringing back the 23-year-old forward to fill a bench role. Acy averaged 11.3 points and 6.7 rebounds in seven Summer League games, but his 2014-15 fantasy value would be limited if the Kings pick up his option as he'll be hard-pressed to find more playing than the 13.4 minutes that he averaged in 2013-14.

Sat Jul 12 201409:58Kings want Quincy Acy to play inside more
Kings coach Mike Malone wants to see F Quincy Acy attack the rim more often offensively.
Acy drained a pair of 3-pointers early in Friday's Summer League game and finished with a team-high 12 points in the first half before cooling off. "That's a blessing and a curse - it's great he hit those shots early, but when we're playing with a small lineup we need Quincy to get inside," said Malone. "He's been working hard on that part of his game." Acy will likely reprise the bench role he played with the Kings last season, giving him negligible fantasy appeal.

Wed Jun 18 201416:10Quincy Acy headed to summer league again
Quincy Acy will head to Las Vegas Summer League in July.
He was there last year while with the Raptors with the primary goal of working as a small forward, which went well. Acy shifted to more of a big-man role with the Kings and is likely to focus in that area with the Vegas team. He could be playing for a roster spot with the big club.

Sat Mar 29 201409:49Quincy Acy (ankle) gets career-high 13 boards
Quincy Acy (ankle) grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds in his return to action on Friday after missing the Kings' previous three games.
This sums up Acy's role for Sacramento, as he comes off the bench to provide physicality and rebounding, and there's not much to be gleaned for fantasy purposes.

Thu Mar 27 201410:28Quincy Acy returns to court Wednesday night
Quincy Acy (ankle) was available for Wednesday night's game against the Knicks.
Acy received a DNP-CD Wednesday, but was in uniform after missing two games with a sprained ankle. While it's always good news when a player returns to health, Acy is only averaged 1.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game during the month of March so his fantasy value is extremely limited.

Wed Mar 26 201420:41Quincy Acy will play vs. Knicks on Wednesday
Quincy Acy (ankle) will play against the Knicks on Wednesday.
He suffered a sprained ankle last week and missed Sunday and Friday games. Acy has missed his last five field goals in his previous two games out there and has little fantasy value.

Tue Mar 25 201415:13Quincy Acy (ankle) could return vs. New York
Quincy Acy (sprained ankle) returned to practice on Tuesday but he is questionable to play vs. the Knicks on Wednesday.
Acy has missed two games but his absence barely registers in fantasy leagues, as he was averaging a mere 1.3 points in 11 minutes per game in March.

Sun Mar 23 201416:34Quincy Acy out Sunday w/ sprained right ankle
Quincy Acy's right ankle sprain will sideline him again on Sunday.
The rugged rebounder is day-to-day but his availability doesn't have any impact in standard fantasy leagues. Rudy Gay (illness) is healthy and starting at SF, with Reggie Evans getting another start at PF.

Fri Mar 21 201422:16Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play on Friday
Quincy Acy will not play against the Spurs on Friday due to a right ankle sprain.
He is listed as day-to-day and should be considered questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Bucks. Acy played just 12 minutes on Tuesday and isn't too involved in the second unit, so the Kings could lean more on Reggie Evans and Jason Thompson a bit more tonight.

Thu Feb 20 201403:13Quincy Acy has career-high 12 rebounds
Quincy Acy came off the bench for four points and a career-best 12 rebounds in Wednesday's loss.
DeMarcus Cousins was out with a hip injury and Acy got 26 minutes as a result. He simply can't score the basketball and hasn't been reliable enough in the other big-man departments to be owned in any leagues. Forget about him unless Cousins is going to miss a big chunk of time, but even then, there are other players (Travis Outlaw, Jason Thompson, Carl Landry) that would be safer pickups. And for the record, Cousins isn't expected to miss much time with his injury.

Fri Feb 7 201418:58Quincy Acy starting on Friday night
Quincy Acy will start against the Celtics on Friday.
He'll join Isaiah Thomas, Ben McLemore, Jason Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins in the first unit. This is a surprise move and perhaps Derrick Williams' foot injury is not at 100 percent. Acy has played some small forward before and he spent a lot of time playing there in the offseason, especially during summer league. All things equal, Williams seems like the better play tonight.
