Sun Jun 1 201415:30Thabo Sefolosha has no clue if he's back
Thabo Sefolosha said on Sunday that he has "no clue" if he'll be back with the Thunder next year.
If the past four games are any indication, he's not going to be back. Sefolosha played just eight minutes combined in the last four games and quickly fell out of favor with coach Scott Brooks. The Thunder don't have any issues on the perimeter, so they'd probably be better suited to sign a big man.

Sun May 25 201423:11Thabo Sefolosha goes from starter to DNP-CD
Thabo Sefolosha did not leave the Thunder bench on Sunday.
Thabo started Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference finals but he was scoreless on 0-of-9 shooting in those losses. Thunder coach Scott Brooks opted to start Reggie Jackson at SG, with Caron Butler and Jeremy Lamb providing support off the bench, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Thabo rack up another DNP-CD on Tuesday.

Sun May 25 201410:40Thabo Sefolosha struggling on both ends
Thabo Sefolosha's production has taken a nosedive this year, and that has severely hurt OKC's chances of being a true contender.
Once a defensive juggernaut, and a player capable of knocking down open looks, Sefolosha is now a shell of his former self. In this year's playoffs Thabo is shooting just 41 percent from the field and 26 percent from beyond the arc, with a majority of those shots being wide open looks. In two games vs. the Spurs, Thabo has missed all nine of his shots, and has only hit 11 of his 47 three-point attempts since the All-Star break. He's been equally unimpressive on the defensive end, allowing Tony Parker and Danny Green to score at will. With the Thunder down 0-2 in the series, coach Scott Brooks will likely make an adjustment to the starting lineup, but without a healthy Serge Ibaka, upsetting the Spurs will be a tall task.

Mon May 5 201419:49Thabo Sefolosha back in the starting lineup
Thabo Sefolosha is back in the starting lineup for Game 1 vs. the Clippers.
Caron Butler moved into the starting lineup for the last two games of the Memphis series and even played a whopping 41 minutes in Game 7 on Saturday. The Clippers play a different style on offense, so swapping out Butler's offense for Thabo's defense makes sense. The Clippers attempted 26.4 shots from deep in the first round vs. the Warriors and that will be a big factor in this series.

Thu May 1 201423:11Thabo Sefolosha gets a DNP-CD on Thurs.
Thabo Sefolosha was a DNP-CD on Thursday night vs. the Grizzlies.
Caron Butler got the start and that spelled big trouble for Thabo tonight. He's not really the type of guy who can shine in the second unit and the starters don't need him to do anything offensively since Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant ranked one and two in the NBA for usage rate this season. Sefolosha could be riding pine in Game 7 on Saturday. Butler played 29 minutes with seven points, four boards, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Wed Apr 9 201400:42Thabo Sefolosha scoreless in return
Thabo Sefolosha returned from a 17-game absence with a calf injury and failed to score in 15 minutes on Tuesday.
We expect Thabo to play in all of the remaining games for the Thunder in order to get ready for the playoffs, but that doesn't mean you should put him into your fantasy lineup.

Tue Apr 8 201420:34Thabo Sefolosha expected to return Tues.
Thabo Sefolosha, who has missed 17 straight games, is expected to play limited minutes on Tuesday.
He's been out with a calf injury and the Thunder will try to get him ready for the postseason. No word yet on whether Russell Westbrook is in or out, but from earlier indications, it would be surprising to see him play tonight.

Thabo Sefolosha (calf) missed his 17th consecutive game on Sunday.

Thu Apr 3 201418:36Thabo Sefolosha (calf) won't play vs. Spurs
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) will not play on Thursday, though he practiced on a limited basis for the first time since his injury on Wednesday.
Sefolosha can be considered day-to-day at this point, not that fantasy owners are clamoring to see him on the court. Caron Butler and Andre Roberson will lose playing time upon Thabo's return.

Thu Mar 27 201414:48Thabo Sefolosha (calf) travels w/ Thunder
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) traveled with the Thunder for their one-game trip to Dallas on Tuesday, but he remains without a clear return date.
Thabo has yet to practice but he's been shooting jumpers and coach Scott Brooks confirmed that he's getting closer to a return. OKC's initial timetable had him out 4-6 weeks as of March 2, which strengthens the case for an early-April return.

Sun Mar 23 201413:43Thabo Sefolosha (calf) now shooting jumpers
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) is now shooting jumpers and he is nearing his return.
Sefolosha is nearing his return just in time for the Thunder's post-season push. Upon his return he will split minutes with Caron Butler, and Jeremy Lamb, which will most likely cancel out the values of each player.

Tue Mar 4 201419:13Thabo Sefolosha may need crutches for 2 weeks
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) said on Tuesday that he will need crutches for the next two weeks.
He is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks with his calf strain and the Thunder have already brought on Caron Butler to help soften the blow. Sefolosha can be cut in all leagues while Butler is expected to see 15-24 minutes against the Sixers tonight. Perry Jones III and Jeremy Lamb will also be part of the solution.

Sun Mar 2 201417:21Thabo Sefolosha (calf) may miss 4-6 weeks
An MRI confirmed that Thabo Sefolosha has a strained calf, and GM Sam Presti suggested that he might be out 4-6 weeks.
The tests must have revealed a somewhat severe strain given the lengthy timetable, but at least Sefolosha will avoid surgery. He should be ready for the playoffs and in the meantime the Thunder will lean on a combination of Perry Jones III (who will start on Sunday), Jeremy Lamb, Reggie Jackson and newly-acquired Caron Butler.

Sat Mar 1 201413:57Thabo Sefolosha (calf) will not play Sunday
Thabo Sefolosha (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game and the Thunder have scheduled him an MRI.
The test results will determine how long the calf injury will keep him out, with guys like Caron Butler, Perry Jones III and Jeremy Lamb all candidates to start at SG while Sefolosha is out of commission. Sefolosha missed only one game last year and he hadn't missed a game since mid-December this season.

Fri Feb 14 201401:44Thabo Sefolsha's hand injury a non-issue
Thabo Sefolosha's hand injury was a non-issue on Thursday, finishing with seven points, four boards, three assists, three steals and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.
Thabo had a minor injury on Tuesday and was able to play through it. He's put up ninth-round value in 2014, but he'll likely be losing some playing time with Russell Westbrook pushing Reggie Jackson to shooting guard more often. Sefolosha is more of a steals specialist in deeper leagues.

Wed Feb 12 201401:04Thabo Sefolosha plays through hand injury
Thabo Sefolosha injured his right hand on Tuesday, but played through it and finished with two points and two rebounds in 23 minutes.
He was icing his hand on the bench when he wasn't playing and should be considered day-to-day until we get an official report. If he were to miss time, Jeremy Lamb would quickly become relevant, and had 19 points tonight.

Thu Feb 6 201401:24Thabo Sefolosha plays well in win
Thabo Sefolosha had 12 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on Wednesday, but hit just 3-of-12 shots.
Sefolosha played solid defense on Kevin Martin (8 points) and filled the stat sheet on the offensive end. He's averaging 10.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.2 3-pointers over his last five games, meaning he deserves a look in deeper leagues. Just don't expect him to play quite this well on most nights.

Sun Jan 12 201400:28Thabo Sefolosha quietly fills up stat sheet
Thabo Sefolosha quietly filled up the stat sheet in Saturday's easy win, scoring 14 points with two 3-pointers, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks.
He also turned the ball over just once in 39 minutes and this is an exaggerated version of his usual production, which has been good enough for borderline value in 12-team leagues this season.

Fri Dec 27 201321:46Sefolosha scores 12 points with three treys
Thabo Sefolosha scored 12 points on 3-of-5 shooting (all threes) with three rebounds and two assists in 24 minutes on Friday.
Sefolosha is locked into a timeshare with Jeremy Lamb but the absence of Russell Westbrook can only be a positive for him, so owners in deeper leagues should give him a look and standard league owners should simply watch from afar.
