Sun Dec 15 201321:56Sefolosha (knee) plays 23 minutes in return
Thabo Sefolosha (knee) returned from a three-game absence to score six points with three boards and four steals in Sunday's win vs. Orlando.
The veteran played 23 minutes and his return abruptly handed a DNP-CD to fill-in starter Andre Roberson. Thabo's outlook hasn't changed at all -- he's averaging 6.4 points in 27 minutes per game this season, with a low dose of 3s, rebounds and steals.

Sun Dec 15 201317:25Thabo Sefolosa will return on Sunday
Thabo Sefolosa (knee) will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Magic.
He missed three games with a right knee sprain and the Thunder were able to win all three by a margin of 16.7 points. Jeremy Lamb scored 13.3 points per game in that span and will likely see a smaller role. Sefolosha has some low-end value in fantasy leagues for steals and 3-pointers.

Fri Dec 13 201318:29Thabo Sefolosa won't play vs. Lakers
Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will miss his third game with a right knee sprain on Friday.
The Thunder will keep Andre Roberson in the starting lineup against the Lakers, but he has very little fantasy value. Jeremy Lamb is coming off an 18-point game on Wednesday and makes sense as a spot-start in deeper leagues. Reggie Jackson should continue his hot streak tonight, as well.

Fri Dec 13 201313:29Thabo Sefolosha game-time decision on Friday
Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game vs. the Lakers.
If Thabo is a unable to suit up, expect the minutes to trickle down to Reggie Jackson and Jeremy Lamb. Either of these guys makes for an alright spot-start, but check back closer to game-time for official confirmation as to whether Thabo can go.

Wed Dec 11 201318:43Thabo Sefolosha out on Wednesday night
Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will not play against the Grizzles on Wednesday.
He has a right knee sprain and this will be his second game out of the lineup. Down the stretch last night, the Thunder when with a lineup Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson, Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins, so that should be the case again tonight. Jeremy Lamb was solid with 11 points on Tuesday, so he and Jackson are the beneficiaries of Thabo sitting out.

Tue Dec 10 201312:33Thabo Sefolosha out Tuesday against Hawks
Thabo Sefolosha (knee) will miss Tuesday's game against Atlanta.
Sefolosha is a great example of being a better real-life player than fantasy player. He's an important defensive cog for the Thunder and will generally see a decent amount of minutes, but he doesn't do much to contribute to fantasy teams and isn't worth owning. Andre Roberson will get the start in his place Tuesday night, but can be left on waivers for the time being.

Tue Nov 19 201300:33Thabo plays 22 minutes in return to lineup
Thabo Sefolosha played 22 minutes in his return from an illness on Monday, scoring eight points with three boards, one assist, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.
His minutes took a dip from the 29.3 per game he was averaging before this game. Reggie Jackson is playing better and Sefolosha doesn't really have many chances to score on offense, so he's not worth owning in most cases considering he's not shooting the ball well this season.

Mon Nov 18 201313:05Thabo Sefolosha (flu) ready to go vs. Denver
Thabo Sefolosha (flu) will return to action vs. the Nuggets on Monday.
He sat out one game with the illness, which caused Andre Roberson to start and Jeremy Lamb to play 26 minutes off the bench. Thabo is once again flirting with low-end value on the strength of 7.3 points, 0.6 threes, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game, though his 37.3 percent shooting is an anchor for his fantasy value.

Sat Nov 16 201319:43Thabo Sefolosha (illness) out, Lamb starting
Thabo Sefolosha (illness) will not play against the Bucks on Saturday.
Jeremy Lamb will get his first start for the Thunder. Coach Scott Brooks has used Sefolosha in various spots and most importantly down the stretch. It'll be interesting if he uses Lamb down the stretch since he doesn't defend as well as Thabo.

Wed Oct 23 201316:26Thabo Sefolosha expected to sit Wednesday
Thabo Sefolosha is expected to rest on Wednesday night against the Bulls.
He's fine and is just resting after a back-to-back set with the game in Phoenix on Tuesday. Ryan Gomes will get some extra minutes tonight after playing just 17 minutes this month, shooting 4-of-6 from the field with three 3-pointers in that allotment. Jeremy Lamb saw 40 minutes on Tuesday and could still get his umpteenth chance to show the coaches what he can do tonight.

Wed Oct 23 201300:26Thabo Sefolosha leaves with leg cramps
Thabo Sefolosha hit just 1-of-9 shots for two points before leaving Tuesday's game with leg cramps.
We're not going to put him on the injury report, as cramps rarely, if ever, linger the following day. Sefolosha and Jeremy Lamb are going to split minutes at shooting guard this season, but Sefolosha does tend to have some late value based on his ability to steal and hit 3-pointers, despite not being a prolific scorer.

Wed Mar 6 201301:45Thabo Sefolosha quiet in win over Lakers
Thabo Sefolosha hit 2-of-4 shots and committed five fouls on his way to five points, one rebound, one assist, and one 3-pointer in Tuesday's win.
Sure, he played great defense, as usual, but offensively, he's simply too inconsistent to be relied upon by fantasy owners. He's scored at least 20 points in a game just twice this season, and has hit double figures in scoring just 15 times. But he is averaging more than a steal and 3-pointer per game, which is the only reason he should be owned in any fantasy leagues.

Sat Mar 2 201304:04Thabo turns it on w/ 8-12-5-2-3 line, two 3s
Thabo Sefolosha scored eight points on 3-of-10 shooting (including two threes) with 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals and three blocks in Friday's loss to the Nuggets.
Sefolosha most certainly flies under the radar, but he should be owned in all 8- and 9-cat formats right now. He is a top 60-100 play in 9- and 8-cat leagues on the year, respectively.

Thu Feb 21 201301:55Thabo Sefolosha goes off for 28 points
Thabo Sefolosha scored a career-high 28 points with five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Kevin Durant had his second triple-double of his career, but Sefolosha actually had the better fantasy line thanks to his six triples and impressive 11-of-16 shooting from the field. He isn't exactly the sexiest name in fantasy, but he has produced eighth-round value in standard eight-cat leagues and that will be going up after tonight's massive line. Kevin Martin had a mediocre outing with 15 points and two 3-pointers, but should remain owned for his production in threes and free throw shooting.

Tue Feb 12 201323:43Thabo Sefolosha quiet in ugly loss
Thabo Sefolosha was 0-for-2 for zero points, two rebounds, zero assists, a steal and a block in 23 minutes on Tuesday.
He had scored 18 and 20 points in his previous two games, prompting fantasy owners to pick him up, but was a disaster tonight with Kevin Martin back from the flu. Maybe he'll bounce back on Thursday, but the fact remains he's averaging just 7.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals on the season, making him a very risky play.

Sun Feb 10 201323:01Thabo leads OKC rout w/ season-high 20 pts
Taking full advantage of Kevin Martin's absence with the flu, Thabo Sefolosha scored a season-high 20 points to help OKC rout the Suns in Phoenix.
Thabo made 7-of-11 field goals, including five 3-pointers, and was just two points shy of his career high. He won't often jump out in the scoring column, but tonight he added three rebounds, three assists and three steals, which typifies his fantasy appeal.

Sat Feb 9 201302:14Sefolosha scores season-high 18 points
Thabo Sefolosha scored a season-high 18 points in Friday's blowout win, hitting 7-of-11 shots (including four threes) with two rebounds, one steal, and two blocks.
Sefolosha has been producing well enough to be owned as a low-end asset in 8-cat leagues and a mid-to-late round asset in 9-cat leagues this season.

Sat Feb 2 201322:23Sefolosha scoreless in road defeat vs. Cavs
Thabo Sefolosha had three rebounds and three steals vs. the Cavs, but he failed to score in 24 minutes of action.
Thabo has quietly been returning late-middle round value in roto leagues this season, though his lack of scoring tends to obscure his worth. He's scoring only 7.1 points per game but he shoots with solid percentages and the few points he scores typically include a 3-pointer.

Tue Jan 15 201301:32Thabo scores four points in return Monday
Thabo Sefolosha returned from a neck injury and scored four points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 28 minutes against the Suns Monday.
Thabo is a plus-defender and is a great fit for OKC, but his fantasy value will always be limited with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook doing all the heavy lifting on offense. He's off the radar in standard leagues.
