Mon Jan 14 201319:38Thabo Sefolosha (neck) will play on Monday
Thabo Sefolosha (neck) will play against the Suns on Monday.
He was a game-time decision and he might not see his normal 29.1 minutes per game. DeAndre Liggins played a whopping 40 minutes on Sunday and might see a handful of playing time tonight to spell Thabo. Neither player should be on the radar in standard leagues.

Mon Jan 14 201308:52Thabo Sefolosha uncertain to play Monday
Thabo Sefolosha (neck), who did not play on Sunday, is uncertain to play on Monday.
Sefolosha's status will be determined before tipoff, so owners that have been relying on his durability and contributions will have to check back for an update. If he is forced to sit, DeAndre Liggins, who went off for 11 points, nine rebounds, a steal and three 3-pointers on Sunday in 40 minutes, would likely start again.

Sun Jan 13 201323:12Thabo Sefolosha sidelined by sore neck
Thabo Sefolosha (sore neck) was scratched at the last minute on Sunday, replaced in the starting lineup by DeAndre Liggins.
This is Thabo's first DNP of the season, which is part of the reason he's been a viable fantasy option in all formats. The other part is his across-the-board production, good enough for 7th/10th round value in eight- and nine-cat leagues, respectively. Unfortunately, this out-of-the-blue injury leaves him questionable for Monday's road game in Phoenix.

Thabo Sefolosha scored 14 points in 32 minutes against the Suns with two 3-pointers on Monday.
Thabo is coming off a 15-point game on Saturday, but he's still a little too inconsistent to be a factor in fantasy leagues.

Sat Dec 29 201223:55Thabo Sefolosha scores 15 points vs. HOU
Thabo Sefolosha finished Saturday's game with 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting, while adding four rebounds, three steals, two blocks and zero turnovers in 31 minutes.
Thabo was unusually aggressive tonight and this line is a slightly exaggerated representation of fantasy value -- he chips in numbers across the board, and before you know it he's returning reliable late-round value (mid-seventh round in nine-cat). Just don't expect him to score like this often, as his 10 field goal attempts were a season-high.

Thu Dec 20 201222:29Thabo Sefolosha plays 44 minutes, steals four
Thabo Sefolosha played a season-high 44 minutes in Thursday's 99-93 loss to the Wolves and had nine points, five boards, one assist, four steals and one 3-pointer.
Thabo picked up most of Kevin Martin's (quad) minutes, but Martin isn't expected to miss much time. If Martin does need to miss anothher game, Thabo's steal totals make him an option as a spot-start in deeper leagues.

Tue Dec 18 201200:47Sefolosha goes cold against the Spurs
Thabo Sefolosha hit just 1-of-8 shots in Monday's win over the Spurs, scoring two points with three rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one block.
Sefolosha is shooting five points better from the field this year (48%) over last (43%), but his 3-point shooting is practically the same at 44 percent. His minutes and scoring are both up, and though a regression is possible he has been extremely consistent this season. Owners in 12-16 team leagues relying on his low-end value shouldn't be swayed by one bad shooting night.

Sat Dec 15 201202:31Sefolosha scores 15 points vs. Kings
Thabo Sefolosha scored 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, one steal, and one block in 28 minutes on Friday against the Kings.
It feels like Sefolosha has to work like crazy to get his numbers every night, but he has consistently put up solid late round value all year long.

Sun Dec 9 201221:41Thabo Sefolosha quiet in win vs. Pacers
Thabo Sefolosha was even quieter than usual in Sunday's win vs. Indiana, posting two points, two rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes.
A line like this barely stands out for OKC's defensive specialist, yet he's holding late-round value in eight- and nine-cat leagues thanks mostly to 1.3 threes and 0.9 steals per game. He's a reasonable player to own in 12-team leagues, but there should be FAs with greater upside on many waiver wires.

Sat Dec 8 201204:22Sefolosha scores five points with five boards
Thabo Sefolosha scored five points on 2-of-4 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, two assists, and three steals in 34 minutes on Friday against the Lakers.
Sefolosha has been a late mid-round value over the past two weeks because of his solid percentages, low turnovers and smattering of peripheral stats. He is a late-round value on the year, too, so he should be owned in all 8- and 9-cat, 12-team formats and some 10-team leagues, as well.

Tue Nov 27 201204:36Sefolosha scores season-high 14 points
Thabo Sefolosha scored a season-high 14 points in Monday's massive win over the Bobcats, hitting 4-of-9 shots from the field with four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and a career-high tying four 3-point buckets.
Sefolosha played 21 minutes and has racked up surprising late-round value on the season, with averages of 27.4 minutes, 7.0 points, 1.4 threes, 4.3 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.4 blocks. He is shooting 47.4 percent from the field and a low-volume 90.9 percent from the line to go with 1.2 turnovers per game. We expect his shooting to move back toward his 43.9 percent career mark and his 27 mpg looks a bit high, but with Kevin Martin averaging a healthy 30 mpg it might actually be a trend.

Thabo Sefolosha had 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes of Tuesday's blowout win over the Raptors.
Unless you're in a 16-team league, Sefolosha is best left on waivers, despite tonight's impressive line.

Thabo Sefolosha scored seven points on a perfect 3-for-3 shooting night to go along with five rebounds and one three Wednesday.

Thabo Sefolosha (quad) played in the Thunder's scrimmage on Thursday, but he remains uncertain for Friday's game.
Sefolosha is very close to returning from his injury, and at this rate it would be a surprise if he wasn't ready for the regular season. He's one player with a starting role who won't offer fantasy value.

Thabo Sefolsha is dealing with a quad injury, but he's expected to return "soon."
OKC and Sefolosha had provided no disclosure as to what was bothering him, but it's clearly not a serious concern and the team is just being cautious. Sefolosha isn't a name fantasy owners in standard leagues need to have on their radar.

Thabo Sefolosha (undisclosed) will not play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Rockets.
Oklahoma City has been channeling their inner Bill Belichick since nobody has reported why he's missing time. Regardless, Thabo doesn't do enough to qualify as a player to take in standard leagues.
