Fri Oct 5 201216:33Sefolosha (undisclosed) a partial participant
Thabo Sefolosha (undisclosed) participated "in a good portion of practice" on Friday.
For whatever reason nobody in Oklahoma is reporting what the injury is, and James Harden is still running with the second unit. Harden may steal a few minutes from Sefolosha this season, but overall the partnership at shooting guard will look a lot like last year.

Fri Oct 5 201210:39Sefolosha's status in question for preseason?
Thabo Sefolosha's status for the preseason is "in question."
Sefolosha dealt with a foot injury last season that hampered him down the stretch, but it's unclear what is limiting him right now. There has been nothing to suggest that his status is up in the air for opening night, but we'll let you know more when it becomes available.

Thu May 31 201223:55Thabo adjustment pays off; OKC takes Game 3
Thabo Sefolosha played 36 minutes in the Thunder's 102-82 win over the Spurs in Game 3, scoring 19 points on 7-of-16 shooting (4-of-10 from deep) with six rebounds, six steals, and one block.
Sefolosha was a monster on defense, and his 3-point shooting had to have Thunder fans keeled over knowing the adjustment to put him on Tony Parker came two games too late. Interestingly, his minutes came at the expense of James Harden (26 minutes, 15 points, four boards, three assists) and not Derek Fisher (21 minutes, 2-of-7 FGs, five fouls). Russell Westbrook hit just 5-of-15 shots for 10 points, but was otherwise electric with seven boards, nine assists, four steals, and two blocks, and Kevin Durant put up 22 points on 8-of-17 shooting with a full line. The Thunder forced 21 turnovers and gave up just seven of their own, bringing the series to 2-1 heading into Saturday's Game 4.

Thu May 31 201220:35Sefolosha to cover Tony Parker, not Westbrook
Thabo Sefolosha will cover Tony Parker instead of Russell Westbrook in Thursday's critical Game 3 against the Spurs.
This is one of the three big coaching adjustments that Scott Brooks has failed to make so far in this series, with the other being the decisions to play Derek Fisher and Kendrick Perkins big minutes. And since the game plan isn't so straight-forward as attacking the Lakers and Mavs' big men in the pick-and-roll was, the Thunder have reverted back to the 'stand and wiggle' offense from last year's playoffs. It's time to see if Brooks can make adjustments and find a system after multiple years of encouraging his players to freelance.

Fri Apr 6 201222:32Sefolosha deals with calf injury in loss
Thabo Sefolosha had his calf worked on by trainers during Friday's loss to the Pacers.
We're just putting this on record for Sefolosha, but we haven't heard anything about the injury since seeing him getting worked on. Consider him active until we hear otherwise.

Tue Mar 27 201215:03Thabo Sefolosha no longer limited
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) is no longer on a minutes cap.
Sefolosha was not allowed to go over 20 minutes as he returned from his foot injury. He's free of that restriction now, but we wouldn't expect big-minute nights anyway. Although James Harden doesn't start, he's the Thunder's real shooting guard.

Thu Mar 22 201214:03Sefolosha to return to normal minutes Friday
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) will see an increase in minutes beginning on Friday against the Timberwolves.
We reported on Tuesday Sefolosha would see an increase in minutes moving forward after getting integrated back into the mix, and now Scott Brooks is ready to make the move. Regardless, Sefolosha isn't a fantasy asset as he was averaging just 21.5 minutes before getting injured.

Tue Mar 20 201209:49Thabo Sefolosha to see regular minutes soon
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) will see an increase in playing time moving forward.
Sefolosha has played three games since returning from an injury that sidelined him for 23 straight games, but Scott Brooks said he is "close" to giving his starting shooting guard regular playing time. Sefolosha will remain around 15 minutes or so for the next game or two, but he was only averaging 21.5 minutes before going down. He's not on the fantasy radar in standard-sized leagues.

Mon Mar 19 201200:46Thabo Sefolosha hits three 3s in victory
Thabo Sefolosha played his best game since returning from injury on Sunday, notching 11 points, three 3-pointers, five rebounds and two assists in a mere 15 minutes.
This is an apex fantasy line for Thabo, who shouldn't be owned as long as James Harden is healthy. It's worth mentioning that (due to Thabo's strict minute-limit) former starter Daequan Cook still logged 20 minutes off the bench.

Sat Mar 17 201210:40Sefolosha held to around 14 minutes per game
Thabo Sefolosha will play around 14 minutes per game as he adjusts to his return from a foot injury.
Sefolosha missed about six weeks with the injury and his slow return is predictable. He's an upgrade over Daequan Cook (currently out with a sore shoulder) and he could steal a few minutes from James Harden, but we're not adjusting expectations for Harden or anyone else.

Fri Mar 16 201200:44Sefolosha (foot) returns on Thursday
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) returned from a lengthy absence on Thursday, scoring three points with one assist and a 3-pointer in 12 minutes.
Sefolosha could threaten James Harden's minutes because Scott Brooks is that type of guy, but we're not overly concerned here.

Mon Mar 12 201216:26Thabo Sefolosha returns to practice
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) returned to practice Monday.
It's Sefolosha's first full practice since injuring his foot on Jan. 27. Beat writer Darnell Mayberry is guessing that the starting shooting guard makes his return against the Spurs on Friday. Daequan Cook will eventually head back to the bench and James Harden may lose a hair off his nightly playing time.

Mon Mar 12 201213:54Thabo Sefolosha could be back in a week
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) could return within the next 7-10 days.
Sefolosha has been out for nearly seven weeks, so he's going to need plenty of time to get back up to speed. Cold-shooting Daequan Cook will remain in the starting lineup for now, but super-sub James Harden is the Thunder's real shooting guard.

Thabo Sefolosha (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's Thunder game against the Warriors.

Thu Feb 16 201208:17Thabo Sefolosha sees foot specialist
Thabo Sefolosha (foot) saw a specialist, but his diagnosis remained unchanged.
Sefolosha has missed 10 straight games, and although the diagnosis remains the same, he will now wear a protective boot in order to expedite the recovery process. There is no timeline for his return and we're calling him out indefinitely. Daequan Cook should continue to start in Sefolosha's place for the foreseeable future.
