Sun Dec 30 201223:19Mbah a Moute very quiet in Sunday's defeat
Coming off a game with 19 points and a full line, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute was held to just two points, five rebounds and three turnovers on Sunday.
Scott Skiles only played Mbah a Moute 21 minutes tonight, as Ersan Ilysova got hot and dug into his playing time. This highlights the reason LRMM can't be relied on in fantasy leagues, and his past six scoring totals speak volumes -- four, 20, four, zero, 19 and two.

Thu Dec 27 201209:03Mbah a Moute goes scoreless on Wednesday
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had just one assist in 19 minutes on Wednesday against the Nets.
Mbah a Moute had just four points in a similarly disappointing effort on Saturday, and it's safe to say he wiped away any fantasy value he once had with the efforts. We wouldn't rule him out to bounce back, but he'll need to show some solid production before he'll get a recommendation out of us.

Sat Dec 22 201223:37Mbah a Moute held to four points vs. Cavs
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, coming off a 20-point game on Friday, had just four points on 1-of-7 shooting in Saturday's loss to Cleveland.
The good news is that LRMM did chip in five rebounds, four assists and one block, and he played despite rolling his ankle the night before. We've never had much confidence in his offensive game, and as a starter he should settle somewhere between the extremes we've seen this weekend.

Sat Dec 22 201201:13Mbah a Moute scores 20 points vs. Celtics
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute scored a season-high 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting (4-of-10 FTs) with six rebounds and two assists in 40 minutes on Friday against the Celtics.
Mbah a Moute rolled his left ankle pretty badly but didn't appear to be hindered at all by it, and he has been making some noise since returning to action from his knee injury. He'll be an injury risk but Scott Skiles loves the guy and he is taking a much bigger role on offense than we've seen in the past. He's worth a look, but we're still not entirely sold that he can keep it up.

Wed Dec 19 201200:28LRMAM plays 34 minutes, double-doubles
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute logged his first double-double on the season with 10 points and 10 boards, adding two assists, one block and two steals in 34 minutes against the Pacers on Tuesday.
LRMAM's minutes are on the rise with 29.8 minutes per game in his last five. He said earlier this month that his knee isn't right, so the odds are against him that he'll be able to stay healthy. On the other hand, he's on the radar as a pickup in deeper leagues.

Sat Dec 15 201200:57Mbah a Moute hands out career-high six asts
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute handed out a career-high six assists on Friday against the Cavs, and also added nine points, seven rebounds, four steals, and one block in 36 minutes.
Mbah a Moute hit 4-of-7 shots and has now put up two bigger lines against two of the league's worst teams in the Cavs and Kings (the Cavs set a season-high for turnovers tonight and the Kings gave up rebounds like the Bucks hadn't seen for years). Add in his very real knee issues and we're passing on the Prince in anything but the deepest formats.

Thu Dec 13 201201:39Mbah a Moute scores 17 in start, win
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute had a season-high 17 points and six rebounds on 6-of-10 shooting in 26 minutes of a win over the Kings.
He was in the starting lineup for the first time this season, but it's anyone's guess how long he'll stay there. His knee is still not 100 percent and owners should simply keep an eye on him in case he becomes a full-time starter and starts producing consistently. Marquis Daniels made another start at small forward and had 10 points, six boards and three assists in 31 minutes, but like Mbah a Moute, we don't really trust him, either.

Mon Dec 10 201211:34Luc Richard Mbah a Moute's knee not right
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute admitted that his surgically-repaired knee is "not where I'd like it to be yet."
Mbah a Moute has had on and off issues with the knee since before his offseason surgery, so this doesn't come as a big surprise. "The hardest thing is the conditioning and my knee," he said. It doesn't sound like LRMM has a lot of confidence in his knee right now, but he's planning to play through it.

Sun Dec 9 201222:31Mbah a Moute solid in 28 minutes off bench
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute played a season-high 28 minutes in Sunday's victory, tallying nine points, five rebounds and two steals.
MM is a good rebounder and a great defender, so as long as his knee holds up (and the Bucks are in the playoff hunt) he should earn steady minutes ahead of Tobias Harris and John Henson. He's worth a look in deep formats, but don't expect fantasy value in 12-team leagues.

Fri Dec 7 201223:37Mbah a Moute's knee still bother him
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) isn't happy with how his knee is responding right now.
Mbah a Moute is coming off what was called a "cleanout" procedure on his knee back in May, but his timetable was pushed back multiple times. He played 20 minutes and scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds, but it's going to be hard to ever add him until there is more encouraging news on his knee.

Sun Dec 2 201200:58Mbah a Moute effective in his season debut
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) played 14 minutes in his season debut on Saturday, finishing with eight points, six rebounds and two assists.
Mbah a Moute's only restriction was "to get him out when he's fatigued," which didn't take long considering his lack of practice time. Even once he's playing at full strength, the Bucks frontcourt is too tumultous to expect fantasy value from another defensive specialist.

Fri Nov 30 201212:31Mbah a Moute expected to play Saturday
Updating a previous item, Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee surgery) is expected to play on Saturday.
Mbah a Moute has yet to debut this season, but his return will only further muddy Scott Skiles' whimsical rotation. Because he's a good defender, Skiles has shown an inclination to trust him in the past, but he's likely to be eased back in after such a lengthy layoff and is not on the fantasy radar in standard formats.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee surgery) is "getting closer to returning."
No timetable is given for Mbah a Moute, who was previously targeting a late November return. We're going to list him as day-to-day as it sounds like he's getting close, but there doesn't appear to be an exact target date for his debut.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) will not play on Monday against the Bulls.

Fri Nov 23 201218:37Mbah a Moute goes through non-contact work
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute participated in non-contact portions of Friday's practice.
Mbah a Moute wants to go through full-contact practice before playing, and Scott Skiles would also like to see him in 5-on-5 scrimmages, but that's not likely to happen during the Bucks' upcoming five-game week. Whenever he does return, he'll merely clog up the Bucks' already messy frontcourt rotation.

Fri Nov 16 201215:57Mbah a Moute (knee) targeting Dec. return
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) hopes to begin practicing "some time around the end of the month."
Mbah a Moute can play SF or PF, and his eventual return will only muddy the Bucks' forward rotation, which already includes Tobias Harris, Ersan Ilyasova, John Henson, Larry Sanders, Mike Dunleavy and Marquis Daniels. The defensive specialist isn't likely to emerge with fantasy value.

Fri Nov 2 201214:40Mbah a Moute expected to miss eight games
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is expected to be out two more weeks due to knee surgery.
That means he should miss about the first eight games of the season, while Ersan Ilyasova and Tobias Harris should carry the heavy lifting at forward this season.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) will not play on Friday in the season opener against the Celtics.

Thu Oct 18 201209:18Luc Richard Mbah a Moute continues rehab
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) is continuing his rehab, but he remains doubtful for opening night.
Mbah a Moute is said to be targeting a November return, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly when he may return considering his knee issues date back to last season. It's concerning that he's still doing rehab after the procedure was supposed to be of the "cleanup" variety, and he's not on the fantasy radar.
