Mon Jan 6 201418:58Luc Mbah a Moute won't play again Monday
Luc Mbah a Moute (groin) won't play vs. the Sixers on Monday.
His strained left groin will keep him out of the lineup for his second game in a row. Mbah a Moute was only playing 14.7 minutes per game in his three games before the injury, so he can remain on the wire in most leagues.

Sat Jan 4 201418:57Mbah a Moute (groin) doubtful to play Sat.
Luc Mbah a Moute (groin) is doubtful to play on Saturday.
He's not a safe fantasy option even when completely healthy, so owners should move on down the line in deep leagues.

Thu Jan 2 201415:45Luc Mbah a Moute (groin) iffy for Saturday
Luc Mbah a Moute (groin) is questionable for Saturday's game.
He injured himself during Wednesday's game and didn't do much during Thursday's practice. The Wolves' backup forward is averaging nearly 18 minutes per game since coming over from Sacramento, but his defense-first game inhibits any fantasy value.

Sat Dec 7 201323:18Luc Mbah a Moute starts at PF w/ Love out
Luc Mbah a Moute started at PF on Saturday in place of Kevin Love (personal), and he finished a lopsided loss to the Heat with 11 points, two rebounds and one steal.
Mbah a Moute looked healthy in 26 minutes of action, which is something, but his temporary starting gig was a defensive-matchup move by Rick Adelman and he doesn't have fantasy appeal in Minnesota. He'll promptly return to the bench with Love set to rejoin the team on Sunday.

Sat Dec 7 201319:06Luc Mbah a Moute starting at power forward
Luc Mbah a Moute will start at power forward against the Heat on Saturday.
He'll likely share most of the minutes at power forward with Dante Cunningham. Mbah a Moute played just 17 minutes against the Thunder on Sunday while Cunningham was at 15 minutes. Both players could have decent rebounding games against Miami. Kevin Love should be considered questionable for Tuesday's game after missing tonight's game for a death in the family, so there's little reason to add either in most formats.

Sun Dec 1 201322:12Mbah a Moute playing backup SF for Wolves
Making his second appearance for the Wolves, Luc Mbah a Moute scored two points and grabbed two rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench.
He was slightly better in Saturday's win over Dallas, but fantasy owners can safely ignore him. The rest of the Wolves' performed roughly as expected -- Kevin Love had 16 points, three 3s and 12 boards for his league-leading 18th double-double, Nikola Pekovic added 22 points and 10 boards, and Ricky Rubio handed out seven assists with two steals, but the Wolves yielded 113 points and 56.3 percent shooting in another road loss.

Sat Nov 30 201312:11Luc Mbah a Moute joins Wolves in Dallas
Luc Mbah a Moute has rejoined the team in Dallas before Saturday's game.
Acquired in last Tuesday's trade with Sacramento, Mbah a Moute has yet to play for Minnesota. He is present for the team shootaround and could get some time on the court tonight. Still, it's likely that his only impact on fantasy will relate to the number of minutes he takes away from Corey Brewer.

Fri Nov 29 201314:15Luc Mbah a Moute (personal) away from team
Luc Mbah a Moute (personal) is not with the team and will rejoin them in Dallas.
Coach Rick Adelman said he will put Mbah a Moute in the rotation and it sounds like the forward will be back with the team for Saturday's game. He'll have some competition for minutes, so there's little reason to pick him up in any league.

Thu Nov 28 201311:57Mbah a Moute will be part of Wolves' rotation
Coach Rick Adelman will attempt to fit newly-acquired Luc Mbah a Moute into the Wolves' rotation.
"My biggest concern is now how to fit him in," Adelman said of Mbah a Moute. "It's what we can do to get a second group that's going to be consistent. It's been tough for us to get any continuity going. That's my biggest mission, to figure out where he is in that mix." Adelman doesn't seem to know how Mbah a Moute will fit into the rotation, but it's sounding like he will be coming off the bench and continue being a fantasy non-factor.

Wed Nov 27 201318:34Mbah a Moute will play on Wednesday
Luc Mbah a Moute will make his debut with Wolves on Wednesday.
It'll likely take him some time to get on the same page, so he's not a fantasy option in almost any league tonight. Mbah a Moute is only worth a look in very deep leagues.

Wed Nov 27 201313:47Mbah a Moute clears physical, may play Wed.
Luc Mbah a Moute passed his physical but it's unclear whether he'll be available for Wednesday's game vs. the Nuggets.
The Wolves are confident in the health of Mbah a Moute's knees and he should jump into the rotation once he's activated. Unfortunately, he's looking at a time-share with Corey Brewer at SF and his defense-first game doesn't translate to fantasy value.

Tue Nov 26 201312:12Luc Mbah a Moute traded to Timberwolves
Luc Mbah a Moute is now a member of the Timberwolves and should play back up minutes at both forward spots.
He could end up in a timeshare with starter Corey Brewer at some point, but it's hard to see him having much fantasy value for his new team.

Mon Nov 25 201319:52Trade of Mbah for Williams waiting on knee
The trade sending Luc Richard Mbah a Moute to Minnesota for Derrick Williams to be completed so long as Mbah a Moute passes his physical on Tuesday.
The concern is Mbah a Moute's knee and it would have to be really bad for Minnesota to turn down this deal according to Yahoo! Sports writer Marc Spears. There could be another move in the works for the Kings, but for Mbah a Moute he goes to the Wolves and provides instant depth at the two and three slots but has no fantasy value. https://twitter.com/SpearsNBAYahoo/status/405135597854928896

Sun Nov 24 201323:54Mbah a Moute dominating minutes at SF
Luc Mbah a Moute played 32 minutes in another start at SF, but he finished Sunday's road loss with only four points, six rebounds and two steals.
Fantasy owners know that Mbah a Moute isn't an offensive weapon and he's cracked double-digits once all year, so hopefully games like this don't come as a surprise. For the moment, however, he seems to have the starting SF job locked up ahead of John Salmons (16 minutes) and Travis Outlaw (16 minutes).

Thu Nov 21 201302:49Luc Mbah a Moute scores 11 points in start
Luc Mbah a Moute scored 11 points against the Suns on Wednesday to go with two rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks in 28 minutes.
It was his third start of the season and his 11 points were a season high. He only made 30.6 percent of his jumpers last season and he's not much of an asset on offense, but Mike Malone seems to like the idea of keeping him with the first unit. He can be left on the wire in most leagues, though.

Mon Nov 18 201310:04Mbah a Moute starts at SF, Salmons off bench
Kings coach Mike Malone started Luc Mbah a Moute on Sunday to reward him for solid play over the past week, and because John Salmons has been struggling offensively.
Sure enough, Mbah a Moute played hard and was the only Kings' starter to return to the game after a wholesale benching in the second half. Salmons also showed signs of life with 10 points and five assists, however, while Travis Outlaw poured in 18 points in limited minutes. It's anyone's guess how SF minutes will be divvied up vs. the Suns on Tuesday.

Sun Nov 17 201320:35Luc Mbah a Moute quiet in first start of year
Luc Mbah a Moute made his first start of the season at SF on Sunday, but he scored only three points on 1-of-6 shooting in 26 minutes.
He chipped in three rebounds, two assists and one block, a modest effort which looks a bit better considering he played more than any other Kings' starter tonight. With a limited offensive game, poor auxiliary stats and competition from John Salmons and Travis Outlaw, Mbah a Moute is best suited to very deep fantasy leagues.

Sun Nov 10 201312:12Mbah a Moute plays season-high 15 minutes
Luc Mbah a Moute said that his knee felt fine during Saturday's game, in which he logged a season-high 15 minutes.
He committed five fouls without scoring and remains a long way from being a standard-league fantasy asset. That said, Mike Malone was irate with his team's lack of intensity on Saturday and a bigger role may be in store for Mbah a Moute going forward.

Wed Nov 6 201311:27Luc Mbah a Moute not part of Kings' rotation
Luc Mbah a Moute played six minutes on Saturday but isn't expected to join the Kings' rotation in the near future.
He missed the preseason with knee tendinitis, which set him back in the battle for SF minutes. "Right now, [John Salmons] is our starting small forward and Travis [Outlaw] is the backup," said Mike Malone. "As [Mbah a Moute] continues to practice more and show what he's able to do in practice, he'll start to get more time on the court."
