Sat Nov 3 201213:38Moe Harkless should be available Sunday
Moe Harkless (hernia) practiced Saturday and should be available Sunday vs. the Suns.
With Hedo Turkoglu (hand) out at least four weeks, a healthy Harkless should have the opportunity to make good on the preseason hype. Fellow rookie DeQuan Jones also returned to practice, but Harkless is the Magic forward fantasy owners should target as a speculative add.

Sat Nov 3 201200:23Moe Harkless 'needs a couple of days'
Moe Harkless "needs a couple of days" before returning from a hernia surgery from over the summer according to coach Jacque Vaughn.
This is important because Hedo Turkoglu suffered a broken left hand and could miss at least a few weeks, and Harkless is the guy the coaching staff has been raving about this offseason. The only other small forward on the roster, it makes sense that he is eased into some sort of significant role, and if owners want to make a speculative add it wouldn't be the worst idea.

Fri Nov 2 201210:11Moe Harkless unlikely to play on Friday
Moe Harkless (hernia surgery), who is listed as questionable for Friday's game, is unlikely to play.
Jacque Vaughn wants Harkless to get some practice work in before deploying him on the floor, so look for Hedo Turkoglu to rack up minutes at SF in Orlando's opener with Arron Afflalo also possibly seeing some time there if the Magic use a small lineup.

Thu Nov 1 201211:47Moe Harkless questionable for Friday
Moe Harkless (hernia surgery) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Nuggets.
Harkless was cleared for full contact earlier in the week, and it's a great sign for his improving health that he's already considered questionable for Friday's contest. The Magic have no reason to hold Harkless back, but he'll likely be worked in slowly when he first returns. Owners should monitor his progression very carefully.

Mon Oct 29 201210:24Moe Harkless cleared for full contact work
Moe Harkless has been cleared to participate in full-contact drills with no restrictions as he continues to recover from sports hernia surgery.
Harkless wasn't expected to be ready until mid-November, but Harkless said that it feels "great" to be back on the floor. The Magic will exercise caution with the rookie's return, and owners should monitor him closely considering Orlando should give him extended playing time at small forward. The Orlando Sentinel reports that the coaching staff "loves" Harkless' potential.
