Tue Aug 17 201009:45Rosales expected to miss next 4-6 weeks
Adam Rosales (ankle) is expected to miss at least four more weeks.
Rosales showed up to the A's clubhouse on Monday with crutches and a boot on his ankle. "It's just nagging. That's probably the most frustrating thing," said the infielder. "It's so small, but it affects so much in your game... I'm going to try to come back before the season's over, that's for sure." Rosales can be counted out until at least mid-September.

Fri Aug 13 201014:20A's place INF Rosales on DL
Athletics placed infielder Adam Rosales on the 15-day disabled list with a stress fracture in his right ankle.
Rosales has been a useful part-timer this year, hitting .271/.321/.400 in 255 at-bats. Still, the A's probably won't lose much and might gain something by giving Steven Tolleson a look in his spot.
Thu Aug 12 201008:27Rosales (ankle) returns to Oakland
Adam Rosales was sent back to Oakland after Wednesday's game in order to have his right ankle examined.
The ankle has been bothering Rosales since the All-Star break, but he left Wednesday's game after just one inning due to continued discomfort. Should he require a stint on the disabled list, look for Steve Tolleson to get the call from the minor leagues.

Wed May 26 201022:20Rosales has four RBI in win
Adam Rosales went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's win over the Orioles.
Rosales put himself on the AL-only map with a decent April, but came into tonight hitting just .240 with one home run and five RBI in May. He's needs to do more with the regular playing time he's getting.
Wed Apr 28 201023:24Rosales continues to rake
Adam Rosales went 2-for-4 with a home run in Wednesday's loss to the Rays.
Rosales has started 14 of the Athletics' 22 games and is starting to earn more playing time. The versatile infielder has six hits in his last two games and is riding a modest five-game hitting streak. He's coming on the radar in AL-only leagues.
Sun Apr 11 201019:21A's Rosales homers and drives in four
Adam Rosales homered and drove in four runs as the Athletics topped the Angels 9-4 on Sunday.
Rosales hit a solo blast in the second, then added a two-run single in the seventh and an RBI walk in the eighth. He's not in line for much playing time with the Athletics, but the fragile nature of Mark Ellis means at-bats are just around the corner. He'd be an AL-only option if a starting gig came to fruition.
