His move to the rotation became all but official when the Padres promoted left-hander Josh Spence from Double-A San Antonio on Tuesday. Luebke was solid in four starts down the stretch last season and had a 3.49 ERA over parts of four seasons in the minors, so he should be relevant in NL-only and deeper mixed leagues right way. The date of his first start isn't yet confirmed, but it will presumably happen next week against the Royals.
