Fellow pitcher Miguel Gonzalez says Farquhar was "pretty pumped" and reliever Nate Jones says the visit "was exciting for everybody."Farquhar's brain hemorrhage was caused by a ruptured aneurysm on April 20 after he pitched against Houston. RHP Nate Jones (right elbow neuritis) will be re-evaluated over the All-Star break. He played catch Friday and subsequently did not feel well. Jones is 1-0 with a 2.31 ERA in 11 games for the White Sox but hasn't pitched for them since April 28. Manager Rick Renteria said, "We'll see what the evaluation is, and we'll determine at that point what the protocol will be for him. He's gone through the process of feeling really good, starting to throw again, feeling irritation. We shut him down, he continues to do whatever they do to help him feel comfortable. Feel really good, go back out and throw and feel a little irritation." Jones began throwing bullpen sessions before irritation similar to what he is experiencing caused him to be shut down in mid-June. He was cleared to throw when the White Sox began their last homestand June 23, but the team was going very slowly to be sure Jones was 100 percent when he resumed throwing bullpen sessions.
