Wed Feb 20 201308:07Report: Gerald Green available in a trade
Gerald Green is available in a trade, sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard.
Green was a feel-good story last season, but he's been disappointing after signing a three-year deal with the Pacers in the offseason. He's averaging just 6.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 3-pointers on a pathetic 34.5 percent shooting from the field.

Sat Feb 9 201312:15Gerald Green back into the rotation
Gerald Green, who will participate in the dunk contest next weekend, is back in the rotation after spending some time on the bench.
Green had zero points, one assist and one rebound in roughly six minutes of action. He remains a big disappointment and shouldn't be owned in any format.

Wed Jan 30 201318:31Gerald Green active after missing two games
Gerald Green (illness) is listed as active for Wednesday's game against the Pistons.
Whether Green plays is another thing entirely as he'd pretty much dropped out of the team's rotation before getting sick. He has almost no fantasy value in all formats.

Sun Jan 27 201310:06Pacers send Geralrd Green back to Indy
The Pacers sent Gerald Green (illness) back to Indianapolis to be examined by the team's medical staff.
Already dropped out of the team's rotation, Green began feeling sick in recent days. He'll be re-evaluated over the next few days and we should know something more early in the week.

Gerald Green (illness) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.
Lance Stephenson and Orlando Johnson should pick up some extra minutes. Green hasn't been able to do much and isn't living up to the contract he signed in the offseason.

Thu Jan 24 201308:26Gerald Green knows he has to adjust his game
Gerald Green admitted he has to adjust his game to get back in the rotation.
Rookie Orlando Johnson is taking his place on a short-term basis, and the demotion is designed to spark Green to play better. "I've been settling for a lot of 3's," Green said. "I have to figure out a way to get my offense through the (team's) offense."

Wed Jan 23 201315:07Gerald Green headed to bench, out of rotation
Gerald Green has been moved to the bench and won't be part of the Pacers' rotation for the time being, beat writer Mike Wells reports.
Green played just six minutes in the first half Monday before being benched for the entire second half. Wells reports rookie Orlando Johnson will assume Green's minutes, which he did in the second half of Monday's win over Memphis. Green has been a total bust this season, shooting just 35 percent from the field and 29 percent from beyond the arc. It's nice to see Johnson get a shot at some minutes, but whatever impact he has now will be severely limited once Danny Granger returns in February.

Tue Jan 22 201307:53Gerald Green benched in second half on Monday
Frank Vogel benched Gerald Green for the entire second half of Monday's win over the Grizzlies.
Green played six minutes, all of which came in the first half. Rookie Orlando Johnson got Green's minutes in the second half, and after Green has been encouraged to look for his shot, he's missed open opportunities repeatedly and is shooting just 35 percent for the season, including 29 percent on 3-pointers.

Mon Jan 21 201319:26Gerald Green (illness) scoreless in return
Gerald Green (illness) played on Monday but was scoreless in just six minutes off the bench.
He didn't have any stats to his credit and hasn't provided reliable value at any point this season. With Danny Granger due back in February, we can safely label Green as a complete bust.

Sun Jan 20 201314:31Gerald Green practices on Sunday
Gerald Green (illness) practiced on Sunday.
He should be ready to go for the first game of the day on Monday in Memphis at 1:00 EST. Green is in a timeshare with Lance Stephenson at shooting guard and doesn't have value in most leagues.

Fri Jan 18 201319:00Green questionable for Friday's game
Gerald Green (stomach ailment) is questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets.
Observers have said that he doesn't look like he'll be able to go, and if that is the case then George Hill, Lance Stephenson, and D.J. Augustin would form a three-guard rotation.

Sun Jan 13 201320:46Gerald Green steps up to score 15 pts
Gerald Green had 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in Sunday's road loss, logging 33 minutes due to Lance Stephenson's foot injury.
Green has reached a new low in January, shooting just 24.5 percent in 20 minutes per game. His role will increase overnight if Stephenson is forced to miss any games, but he should remain on waiver wires in standard leagues.

Fri Dec 28 201223:22Gerald Green returns from his ankle injury
Gerald Green returned from his ankle injury on Friday and scored eight points with two 3-pointers in 20 minutes.
He's had a couple golden opportunities to get minutes next to Paul George on the wing, which he squandered. Those in deeper leagues should look to Stephenson first and Green will need to string together several games to be on the radar in most formats.

Fri Dec 28 201218:39Gerald Green will play Friday vs. Suns
Gerald Green (ankle) is set to return against the Suns on Friday.
Thanks to a sparse holiday schedule, Green only missed one game with the injury. He should see more minutes than expected with Sam Young (flu) out Friday, but not enough to make him worthy of a spot start.

Sat Dec 22 201218:58Gerald Green out on Saturday against NO
Gerald Green (ankle) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.
Green left Friday's game in the second half and didn't return. The Pacers are off until Wednesday after today's game, so he should have plenty of time to heal. Lance Stephenson will look to build off his 16-point gem on Friday.

Fri Dec 21 201221:39Gerald Green limps to the locker room
Gerald Green (leg) limped to the locker room in the second half of Friday's game.
He hobbled back under his own power and not much else is known at this point. Lance Stephenson might pick up some extra minutes with Green out, but it's nothing that should really concern fantasy owners until more news emerges.

Wed Dec 19 201222:40Gerald Green scores 21 w/ four 3-pointers
Gerald Green came off the bench on Wednesday and hit 7-of-12 shots and four 3-pointers on his way to 21 points.
The Pacers rolled over the Jazz like they were the Washington Generals tonight and Green simply got hot. He didn't do much when starting earlier this season, nor when filling in recently for Lance Stephenson, so just leave him on waivers for now.

Fri Dec 14 201223:24Green quiet despite 32 minutes and start
Gerald Green started for injured Lance Stephenson (ankle) in Friday's win over the Sixers, but managed just seven points on 1-of-4 shooting (4-of-4 FTs) with two rebounds and one 3-point bucket in 32 minutes.
Green is a bystander on most nights and he'll need to go on an extended run before we'll pay him anymore attention than we already have around here.

Thu Dec 13 201219:44Pacers will use a three-man rotation on wing
Frank Vogel will likely use a three-man rotation of Paul George, Gerald Green and Sam Young at shooting guard and small forward with Lance Stephenson (ankle) hurt.
Paul George is already playing 35 minutes per game, so if he's able to play five more minutes and get to 40 per game, that would leave 56 minutes of playing time to be split between Young and Green. The opportunity is certainly there for Green again, but since he fell flat on his face last time, we'd like to see him put up a nice game or two before giving him in a look standards.
