Gerald Green will start Wednesday's game in place of Goran Dragic (ankle).

Suns coach Jeff Hornacek said that he'll use his typical starting lineup for Wednesday's season finale, minus Dragic, though his youngest players will enter the game "pretty early. Green revitalized his career in Phoenix, averaging 15.8 points and 2.5 threes per game, and he'll look to build on his success during the final year of his contract in 2014-15.

Gerald Green moved back into the starting lineup against the Spurs in Friday, scoring 27 points with three boards, three assists, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers.

Goran Dragic sat out tonight due to an ankle injury, but Green has been rolling even before this gem. He's been in NBA Jam on-fire mode from deep in his last four games with at least four triples in each game in that span. Green averaged 26.0 points per game in that span and he'll be a must-start player on Saturday vs. the Mavericks.

Gerald Green's illness from Tuesday was a non-issue during Wednesday 94-88 win over the Pelicans, scoring 21 points with two boards, one assist and four 3-pointers on 8-of-14 from the field.

Well, so much for the return of Eric Bledsoe hurting Green. In his last five, he's been on a scoring binge with averages of 22.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.6 blocks and 3.6 triples. What's more, he has a tidy effective field goal percentage of 65.3 percent in that span. After shooting just 36.6 percent from the field last year with the Pacers, Green might be the favorite for Most Improved Player.

Gerald Green had flu-like symptoms on Tuesday and has recovered to play for Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

"He didn't talk yesterday so we knew he was feeling sick," coach Jeff Hornacek said. "He was talking to so that's a good sign for him." Green has been electric all season and his move to the second unit hasn't hurt his stats too badly. He sounds like he'll be ready to go for tonight's game and a Suns' win tonight would go a long way for their playoff chances.

Gerald Green bounced back with 22 points, three 3-pointers, four rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes off the bench vs. L.A. on Sunday.

Green scored six points in 17 minutes on Friday, but he got a green light to shoot with Phoenix clawing their way back from a big deficit on Sunday. Unfortunately, he wasn't very efficient (8-of-19 field goals) and his lack of supporting stats makes him hard to trust with Eric Bledsoe healthy and playing heavy minutes.

Gerald Green played just 18 minutes vs. the Hawks on Monday, scoring 13 points with one assist and one 3-pointer.

He shot 4-of-6 from the field and was still able to turn in a nice effort in limited playing time. The 18 minutes played were his fewest since the return of Bledsoe and also since Dec. 18. Coach Jeff Hornacek does play the matchups a little, but tonight's game is another case to support the idea of Green putting up solid value in standard leagues regardless of his role.

Gerald Green scored 14 points in 26 minutes off the bench vs. Minnesota, making two 3-pointers and all six of his free throw attempts.

The Suns' bench ranks fifth in the NBA with 38.2 points per game, due primarily to the Morris brothers and Green's instant offense. His playing time and production have dropped precipitously since Eric Bledsoe returned and reclaimed the starting SG job, making Green little more than a points and 3-pointers specialist.

Gerald Green scored 12 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 4-of-12 shots (including a three) with four rebounds and one steal in 22 minutes.

The new reality is here and owners aren't going to like it, but it is what it is with Eric Bledsoe back to full speed. Riding the waves owners were able to get serviceable value out of Green, but the days of early-to-mid round value are over.

Gerald Green was hot to start the fourth quarter to help the Suns pull away during Wednesday's 109-93 win, finishing with 14 points, two boards, one assist, one steal and four 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

He hit three 3-pointers in the first four minutes of the final frame as the Suns started out the fourth on a 13-2 run to get this game into garbage time. Green's move to the bench hasn't been too costly on his stat lines, averaging 14.2 points, 2.2 boards, 1.0 steals and 2.4 triples in his five games with Eric Bledsoe back. He's still worth owning in standard leagues.

Gerald Green made six of his 11 shots from the field against the Nets on Monday for 17 points with two steals and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

He started the second half in place of Miles Plumlee as the Suns really needed some scoring punch off the bench. This doesn't seem like it will stick because the Suns just can't start Channing Frye at center in most cases, so Green will continue to come off the bench. Still, Green's role as a scorer in the teens with multiple triples per game make him a player worth holding in standard formats.

Gerald Green buried five 3-pointers against the Raptors on Sunday, finishing with 28 points, five boards, two assists and three turnovers in 27 minutes.

He was cold on Friday night and it kept him down to just 21 minutes, but that wasn't the case today. He made his first five shots in the first quarter for 13 points in that frame and was able to carry that momentum through the game. Green's production is going to take a dip with Eric Bledsoe back, but his 3-point production makes him worth owning in standard leagues.

Gerald Green played just 21 minutes against the Celtics on Friday, making just 2-of-9 from the field for four points with two boards.

He just didn't have it tonight and that might have been a bigger factor in his minutes going down. Coach Jeff Hornacek said he is going to use a three-guard rotation, so the minutes of Green shouldn't see a huge dip. His usage rate is likely going to fall off and the stats so far this season would support that claim. During this season, Green's usage rate has been 24.7 percent without Eric Bledsoe on the floor vs. 19.9 percent with him. He still should take enough triples in what projects to be minutes in the high 20s.

Coach Jeff Hornacek said he may start Eric Bledsoe in place of Gerald Green Friday.

Gerald Green was quiet in Eric Bledsoe's return on Wednesday against the Cavs, scoring eight points on 4-of-14 shooting with two rebounds, two steals and one block in 31 minutes.

Green missed all six of his threes and fouled out in 31 minutes of action, but this is a pretty good indicator of what his workload will look like, defensive stats aside. He's not going to go away entirely but he'll probably see a couple of rounds fall off of his value.

Gerald Green finished Sunday's road loss with 25 points on 9-of-18 shooting, three 3-pointers, six rebounds and one steal.

Green has been on fire in March and this line doesn't even raise an eyebrow, but it's worth pointing out that his playing time (42 minutes tonight) may be in jeopardy with Eric Bledsoe targeting a return on Wednesday. The good news is that it sounds like Bledsoe will come off the bench, at least initially, and Green has been playing well enough to warrant starting in all leagues while we watch how coach Jeff Hornacek juggles his backcourt.

Gerald Green hit 12-of-22 shots and a career-best eight 3-pointers for a career-high 41 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block in Thursday's comeback win over the Thunder.

Green also hit 9-of-11 free throws, didn't attempt a single shot in the first quarter, and took just five shots in the second quarter. He blew up for 25 points in the third quarter and single-handedly led the Suns to a tough win over one of the league's best teams. Yes, he might take a big hit once Eric Bledsoe returns, but at this point, he's a hold and start until we see how that plays out.

Gerald Green blew up for 33 points in Sunday's win vs. the visiting Hawks, making 9-of-14 field goals (including 5-of-8 from downtown) and 10-of-10 free throws.

Green has been red-hot over the Suns' past 11 games and he's not going to drop off the map, but fantasy owners should brace themselves for a decline in his production with Eric Bledsoe (knee) seemingly on the verge of a return. It's unclear how long Green will keep his starting job -- the Suns' have won five of their past eight games but once Bledsoe is up to speed he may rejoin Goran Dragic in a deadly small-ball backcourt. Owners should simply keep Green active and watch what happens.

Gerald Green hit 7-of-15 shots and a 3-pointer for 19 points, six rebounds and a block in Tuesday's loss to the Wolves.

Much has been made about Green's pending crash once Eric Bledsoe is back, and attempting to trade him makes sense if your deadline hasn't hit yet. But even when Bledsoe returns, it's possible that Green gets enough run off the bench to hold some value. He was in early foul trouble tonight, but still managed to post a productive line, as usual.

Gerald Green scored 23 points vs. the Rockets during a tough 115-112 loss on Sunday, adding four boards, one assist, two steals and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

He's on fire right now, averaging 23.0 points, 5.0 boards, 0.8 steals and 3.0 triples over his last five games. Green's value is going to take a hit as soon as Eric Bledsoe (knee) comes back, but he looks like he has about two more weeks of must-start value in standard leagues. Plus, he could get some burn at small forward upon Bledsoe's return.

Gerald Green scored 13 points in the Suns' 106-85 blowout win over the Spurs on Friday, hitting 5-of-14 shots (no threes) with six rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes.

It's too bad he didn't go huge because he's a big-time sell-high guy with Eric Bledsoe a week or so away from practicing. In other words, this is your last chance to make a move with Green before it's brutally obvious that Bledsoe is going to hurt his value. Goran Dragic (eight points, five assists) is an ever-so-slight sell-high guy, Channing Frye went for 17 and eight with three steals, one block and two threes, and Markieff Morris had fun with 21 and five with five assists, three steals and two blocks in the win.
