Fri Jul 20 201219:55Nuggets sign Anthony Randolph on Friday
The Nuggets officially signed PF Anthony Randolph on Friday.
Randolph will be a backup and is George Karl's most recent project. Fantasy owners just need to do what they always do -- be ready to move if the opportunity arises and also be ready for a strong chance of disappointment.

Tue Jul 17 201222:29Nuggets to sign Randolph, amnesty Birdman
The Nuggets are said to be signing free agent PF Anthony Randolph and will have to amnesty Chris Andersen to do it.
Details are sketchy, but it does sound like Randolph will indeed be a Nugget. Which means he will also likely be the teammate of JaVale McGee. And we could be in for some truly glorious (and hilarious) moments if and when they share the court together.

Mon Jul 16 201219:20Randolph interested in playing with Warriors
Beat writer Marcus Thompson wrote Monday that Anthony Randolph is interested in a return to the Warriors.
The report says nothing about the Warriors' interest, other than that they would have to abandon their pursuit of Carl Landry in order to obtain Randolph. Neither player would have fantasy value in Golden State.

Sat Jul 14 201219:41Hawks, Nuggets both high on Anthony Randolph
The Hawks and Nuggets are both interested in FA Anthony Randolph, who attended a Summer League game with Nuggets officials on Saturday.
It appears Denver is serious about signing him, and he could actually earn a spot in the Nuggets' rotation backing up both PF and C. Just don't expect him to provide reliable fantasy numbers, regardless of where he lands.

Fri Jul 13 201219:55Wolves renounce rights to Anthony Randolph
The Wolves renounced their rights to free agent Anthony Randolph on Friday.
They're trying to save all the cap space that they can in their pursuit of Nicolas Batum, and the team has not ruled out bringing back the perennial disappointment. If Ant-Rand could ever put it together he has real fantasy potential, but we've watched the movie a number of times and it never ends well.

Fri Jul 6 201210:01Hawks taking a look at Anthony Randolph
The Atlanta Hawks are meeting with free agent F Anthony Randolph this weekend.
The Dallas native is also scheduled to meet with the Mavericks next week, as it appears his stint in Minnesota is over. Wherever Randolph lands there will be talk about a change of scenery serving him well, along with how he has the potential to be a steals and blocks monster. But he's never been able to put it all together and there's a better chance of him being a fantasy bust (again) than helping your team.

Sun Jul 1 201210:36Mavs interested in Anthony Randolph?
The Mavericks are reportedly interested in free agent big man Anthony Randolph.
The Mavs may lose Ian Mahinmi and can't be comfortable with only Brendan Haywood and Brandan Wright in the middle, though Randolph (who averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds last season) isn't much of an upgrade.

Sat Jun 30 201220:37Anthony Randolph now an unrestricted FA
Anthony Randolph will become an unrestricted FA this summer after Minnesota declined to give him a qualifying offer.
The Wolves weren't willing to tie up $4 million in the still-a-project big man, but they may try to re-sign him in free agency all the same. Randolph averaged 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 34 appearances for the Wolves last season.

Sun Apr 22 201222:53Anthony Randolph plays through hamstring
Anthony Randolph's hamstring injury didn't seem to bother him on Sunday -- he scored 14 points, grabbed seven boards and blocked five shots in 34 minutes vs. the Warriors.
He made 3-of-10 FGs but 8-of-8 FTs, and he may have drawn extra motivation against his former team. With Kevin Love officially done for the season, Randolph should be similarly active in Thursday's finale.

Fri Apr 20 201206:56Anthony Randolph limited by hamstring injury
Anthony Randolph didn't play in the fourth quarter of Thursday's win due to a hamstring injury.
Randolph had a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks, but he was forced to sit the final 12 minutes with the injury. Owners need to be looking for another update to see if Randolph's availability is in jeopardy moving forward, as he's been on a roll since Kevin Love (concussion) was sidelined.

Thu Apr 19 201223:37Ant-Rand goes for 15 and 10 with three blocks
Anthony Randolph started on Thursday and scored 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting with 10 rebounds and three blocks in 27 minutes of action.
Randolph has been all over the board in the time since Kevin Love was sidelined with a concussion. Love is trying to make it back for the Wolves' next game on Sunday, which would be the deterrent owners are looking for to keep them from rolling the dice on Randolph.

Tue Apr 17 201202:18Ant-Rand gets limited by foul trouble vs. IND
Anthony Randolph played just 18 foul-plagued minutes on Monday against the Pacers, scoring six points on 1-of-7 shooting with five rebounds and two blocks.
The flaws are obvious, here, but the rebounds and blocks are somewhat redeeming. Derrick Williams couldn't the barn with a 3-of-15 shooting mark, but did manage 10 boards with a steal and a block, while Michael Beasley had 13 points, five boards, and five turnovers with no other stats. This is going to be a jumbled mess, but as long as the reports are somewhat positive out of Minny then Randolph will be what he has always been -- a lottery style roll of the dice.

Mon Apr 16 201218:11Anthony Randolph draws start at power forward
Anthony Randolph will start at power forward in Monday's game against the Pacers.
Struggling rookie Derrick Williams gets demoted to a bench role. And with Kevin Love (concussion) likely done for the season, Randolph's arrow continues to point straight up. The mercurial talent has put it together over the last three games, averaging 22.0 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks during that span. Now starting, Randolph's roto-friendly game has the potential to be a serious difference-maker.

Sat Apr 14 201223:29Ant-Rand does it again for Wolves
Anthony Randolph came off the bench for 22 points, 11 rebounds and a block on 8-of-16 shooting in 34 minutes on Saturday.
The one time in his career we finally don't take the bait on Randolph, and he blows it up in three straight games. Derrick Williams and Anthony Tolliver were useless again tonight, and it looks like, at least for now, that Randolph and Beasley are the guys to own over the last five games, if Kevin Love's season is over.

Thu Apr 12 201223:09Ant-Rand follows up big night with 16 & 9
Anthony Randolph followed up his 28-point, six-rebound, five-block night from Wednesday with a very nice outing on Thursday, scoring 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 27 minutes off the bench.
Randolph, as fate would have it, became the clear winner of the Kevin Love injury sweepstakes, at least as it stands right now. We know better than to fully trust any of Love's backups, but Randolph has a way of letting owners down after lifting them up. He's certainly worth owning in all formats right now, but owners have to go into the transaction with a 'buyer beware' sign hanging around their necks.

Sun Mar 18 201221:01Anthony Randolph solid in 20 minutes
Anthony Randolph benefited from Nikola Pekovic's surprise absence on Sunday, coming off the Wolves' bench for 10 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes.
AntRand's per-minute stats are almost always gaudy, but his low basketball IQ has prevented him from establishing a heavy role in the Wolves' rotation. He's not worth fantasy consideration unless Pekovic goes down for an extended period.

Thu Mar 1 201202:56Anthony Randolph finally gets some run
Anthony Randolph played 19 minutes and had 12 points and nine rebounds in Wednesday's blowout loss to the Lakers.
He saw some action because the Lakers were up big in the second half, and because Kevin Love was out due to illness. Prior to tonight, the artist formerly known as Ant-Rand had only played in one game this month, getting 12 minutes on Feb. 8. Continue to ignore him.

Fri Feb 3 201218:54Anthony Randolph a healthy scratch Friday
Anthony Randolph is a healthy scratch again on Friday night for Minnesota.
The one-time fantasy darling has pretty much hit rock bottom. Leave him on all waiver wires.

Tue Jan 24 201201:58Anthony Randolph chewed out by coach
Anthony Randolph scored nine points on 4-of-8 shooting with five rebounds and one steal in 11 minutes on Monday.
Owners might see the nice per-minute total and wonder about Randolph's status with Wesley Johnson (illness) out, but Randolph getting chewed out tonight for bringing the ball up the court while his PG stood watching should remind everybody of what they're dealing with here. He's still waiver wire fodder.
