Patterson scored 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3P, 4-4 FT) with 13 rebounds, three assists and a block in 34 minutes off the bench Sunday.
Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) was back in the Raptors' front court after a five game absence, but Patterson still saw heavy action and posted his second straight double-double. He's be hard-pressed to maintain those numbers going forward, however.

Patterson scored 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and added 12 rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes against the Mavericks Friday.
Patterson made the most of his extra minutes in the contest, recording his first double-double of the season. He is averaging 24 minutes this season, and Friday marks just the second time he has eclipsed the 30 minutes mark - the other was a 14 points and eight rebounds performance. Coach Dwane Casey always finds room in his rotation to give extra court time to the hot hand. Unfortunately for Patterson, he is not hot often enough to be a consistent beneficiary.

Patterson scored 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3P) with five rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench Saturday.
James Johnson suffered an ankle sprain Saturday, which allowed Patterson to see extra minutes as part of the unit Raptors coach Dwane Casey used to close out the game. If Johnson's injury proves to be serious it could mean some extra crunch-time minutes for Patterson, but probably not enough to affect his fantasy value.

Patterson scored 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-2 3P, 2-2 FT) with eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and block in 36 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Thunder.
His second game in the starting lineup was a significant improvement on his disappearing act versus the Heat on Sunday. Amir Johnson will miss at least one more game, so Patterson will get a chance to build on this effort Wednesday night in Boston.

Patterson will get the start at power forward Tuesday and Wednesday as the Raptors continue to hold out Amir Johnson (ankle), TSN 1050's Josh Lewenberg reports.
Patterson picked up three fouls in 15 minutes in his start Sunday, and failed to score, so there's a risk in starting him. However, in the past he has shown enough upside to be worth a look in daily leagues, particularly tournaments.

Patterson got the start at power forward Sunday in place of the injured Amir Johnson (ankle), and failed to score a point or record a rebound in 15 minutes of action.
To say that was an unacceptable result in a game the Raptors lost by five points would be a massive understatement. There's no timetable yet on Johnson's return, but if he does miss more action it wouldn't be surprising to see coach Dwane Casey return Patterson to the bench and try Tyler Hansbrough (who played 24 minutes Sunday) in the starting lineup instead.

Patterson (hand) played 21 minutes off the bench Friday, scoring 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 3P) with seven rebounds.
The Raptors' stretch four will fill a big role on their second unit, but his minutes and fantasy value will be somewhat limited unless starter Amir Johnson misses some time.

Patterson (hand) will dress for Friday's game against the Celtics.
Patterson was held out of Tuesday's preseason game against the Kings because of a sore hand, but practiced fully Thursday and is back on the bench Friday. He should see some time off the bench in the game assuming he is truly healthy.

Patterson (hand) practiced in full Thursday and is on track to return Friday against Boston, Josh Lewenberg of TSNreports.
A sore hand kept Patterson out of Tuesday's preseason game against Sacramento. As anticipated, the injury looks to be nothing serious, so expect to see him back on the court Friday. Patterson will again be one of the first forwards off the bench for Toronto this season.

Patterson (hand) will miss Tuesday's preseason contest against the Kings, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
Patterson is still dealing with a sore right hand, and he'll sit out Tuesday as a precaution. The injury does not appear to be anything serious, and Patterson should be considered questionable for Friday's matchup with the Celtics.

Patterson (hand) will miss the Raptors preseason opener Sunday against Sacramento, the Toronto Star's Doug Smith reports.
Patterson is apparently dealing with a sore right hand, and he'll be held out of action Sunday, likely as a precaution. The forward will likely hold down a similar role to last season, when he appeared in 48 games (seven starts), averaging 23.3 minutes per game.
Fri Jul 4 201413:27Patrick Patterson signs 3-year deal with TOR
Patrick Patterson has signed a 3-year, $18 million deal with the Raptors.
Patterson is a solid backup for Toronto, and he had a great stretch last season when Amir Johnson went down with an ankle injury. The signing leaves Toronto with about $7.5 million to spend while remaining under the cap, and they still have yet to retain backup point guard Greivis Vasquez. Two-Pat is a solid signing for the Raptors, but playing behind Amir Johnson and Jonas Valaciunas significantly hinders his fantasy appeal.

Sat Jun 28 201412:11Raptors make qualifying offers to 2-Pat, GV
The Raptors have made a qualifying offer to Patrick Patterson to make him a restricted free agent.
Two-Pat helped himself last year while Amir Johnson was out with an ankle injury, but he did slow down with some struggles in the mid-range game. Patterson is probably going to stay put in Toronto and is not worth owning in most fantasy leagues while Jonas Valanciunas and Johnson are healthy.

Fri Apr 25 201409:59Raptors can make Pat Pat a RFA with offer
The Raptors can make Patrick Patterson a restricted free agent this summer by making him a $4.3 million qualifying offer.
It should be an easy decision for the Raptors to retain one of their most valuable bench pieces. Showing an ability to score in bunches when needed, Patterson averaged 9.1 points and 51. rebounds on 47.7 percent shooting during the regular season. He's also been solid through two playoff games at 10.5 points and 7.0 boards. The problem for his fantasy upside is that the Raptors project to retain Amir Johnson at $7 million guaranteed for the 2014-15 season.

Fri Apr 11 201422:47Patrick Patterson moves to the bench
Patrick Patterson moved back to the bench against the Knicks on Friday, scoring six points with two boards, one assist and two turnovers.
He didn't play very well while Amir Johnson was out and only took advantage of a great matchup against the Sixers. Patterson can be cut in almost all leagues.

Wed Apr 9 201422:59Patrick Patterson goes off in Amir's absence
Patrick Patterson played well in place of Amir Johnson (ankle) and had 17 points, five rebounds, three blocks and three 3-pointers on 7-of-11 shooting.
If you saw that Amir was out and made the move to get Pat-Pat into your lineup, congratulations are in order. If Johnson misses more time, Patterson looks like a great option in all formats.

Wed Apr 2 201422:58Patrick Patterson back in play with Amir out
Patrick Patterson had eight points, two rebounds, one block and one steal in Wednesday's win over the Rockets.
Amir Johnson started, but lasted just three minutes before his troublesome right ankle knocked him out. Patterson ended up playing 26 minutes compared to 18 for Tyler Hansbrough. Even if Amir misses more time, we wouldn't be running to the wire to add PatPat. He's at 8.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 0.2 blocks in 10 starts this season.

Mon Mar 31 201423:33Pat Patterson plays eight minutes in return
Patrick Patterson played eight minutes in his return from an elbow injury on Monday with two points and one rebound.
He must not be back to himself and committed three fouls in the loss. Patterson had a good run earlier this season while Amir Johnson had an ankle injury, but he won't have much value in almost any league now that Johnson is healthy.

Mon Mar 31 201418:12Patrick Patterson cleared to play vs. Heat
Patrick Patterson (elbow) has been cleared to play against the Heat on Monday.
His UCL injury has kept him out since Mar. 7 and it's unclear how much playing time he'll see. Patterson did some 3-on-3 work over the weekend, so he has been able to keep his conditioning up in some capacity. He's still too risky to use in fantasy leagues while Tyler Hansbrough is not an option.

Sat Mar 29 201409:16Patrick Patterson (elbow) could return Sunday
Patrick Patterson (elbow) appears to be "on the verge" of playing after going through three-on-three scrimmages in recent practices.
Patterson could return as soon as Sunday's game in Miami, but he's likely to steal a few minutes from Amir Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas without immediately offering fantasy value himself. "[His] conditioning is probably going to be step behind a little bit," said coach Dwane Casey. "We need to kind of get him back in rhythm, and with the lack of practice time it's going to have to be in a game situation."
