Thu Oct 2 201412:59Terry missed Thursday's practice due to pulled hamstring
Terry missed Thursday's practice due to a pulled hamstring, Jenny Dial Creech of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The veteran, who came over from Sacramento in the offseason, will likely rest over the next few days as he prepares for a role as a veteran reserve guard off the bench. Terry appeared in just 35 games for the Nets last season before being shipped to the Kings, for whom he did not play a game.
Fri Sep 19 201404:42Terry officially traded to Rockets on Wednesday
Terry was officially traded to the Rockets on Wednesday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Rockets also acquired two second-round draft picks from the Sacramento Kings for Alonzo Gee, Scotty Hopson and a trade exception. Terry, the league's Sixth Man of the Year in 2009 and 2011, averaged a career-low 4.5 points in 35 games for the Brooklyn Nets last season before being traded to Sacramento at the trade deadline. The 37-year-old veteran didn't play a single game for the Kings as he recovered from a left knee injury. Terry joins a crowded Houston backcourt and will compete for back-up minutes with Troy Daniels, Isaiah Canaan, Ish Smith and Nick Johnson.
Sun Aug 31 201417:44Terry will be traded to Rockets
Terry will be traded to the Rockets, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
While the details of the deal are still in the works, the Rockets will reportedly receive a pair of second-round picks along with Terry. Houston will send Alonzo Gee and other still-to-be-determined non-guaranteed deals to Sacramento in what is essentially a salary dump move for the Kings. Terry is owed $5.4 million next season, but his contract expires next summer, so Houston is willing to pay a little extra for a guard with extensive playoff experience. Terry played in 35 games for the Nets last season before a February trade sent him to Sacramento. Shortly after the trade, Terry announced he would be shut down for the rest of the season in order to rehab a knee injury.
Thu Jul 31 201409:39Sacramento Kings looking to trade Jason Terry
The Sacramento Kings are looking to trade Jason Terry, according to the Sacramento Bee.
While Terry has been vocal about his desire to play elsewhere, the Kings do not intend to buy out the 36-year-old's $5.4 million contract for next season. That leaves the team looking for a trade partner as they attempt to avoid paying the luxury tax, but they may find it hard finding any takers at that price. Regardless of where he plays next season, Terry's best days are in the rear-view mirror and he shouldn't be on any fantasy radars.

Wed Jul 16 201411:54Jason Terry would embrace a return to Dallas
Jason Terry said on a Dallas radio station that he "won't rule out returning back to Dallas."
"It's my home and my heart," Terry said. "I bleed blue. I'm a Maverick." Terry is still under contract with the Kings, but he clearly wants out of Sacramento. "I wouldn't say it's rebuilding, but a building process... They're in transition right now. For me, at this point in my career, I want championships." Terry spent most of his 15-year career as the sixth-man for Dallas, including being a key contributor on the Mavericks 2011 championship team. He should not be on fantasy radars, but seeing the Jet return to Dallas would be a great ending to his NBA career.

Tue Jul 15 201415:43Jason Terry (knee) says he's fully recovered
Jason Terry (knee) said that he's healthy and "ready to fly around on the runway for the Sacramento Kings."
Terry is under contract for $5.5 million this season but it wouldn't be surprising if he negotiates a buyout to join an elite team competing for a championship -- he said he "bleeds blue" and wouldn't rule out a return with the Mavericks.

Thu May 8 201414:54Kings GM reaches out to Jason Terry (knee)
Kings GM Pete D'Alessandro recently spoke with veteran guard Jason Terry, who is under contract for $5.5 million next season.
Terry has been rehabbing his left knee in Dallas since the Kings acquired him from the Nets in February, but D'Alessandro is hopeful that he will provide some veteran leadership for the Kings next year. It's still unclear whether Terry has any interest playing for a young team coming off a 28-54 season.

Sat Feb 22 201413:10Jason Terry done for the season
Jason Terry will not join the Kings and will spend the rest of the season in Dallas rehabbing his knee.
Terry obviously wasn't interested in going to Sacramento, but this announcement should mean the trade is a done deal, clearing the way for Marcus Thornton and Reggie Evans to play for their new teams. Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum should both be in line for more minutes the rest of the way for the Kings.

Fri Feb 21 201415:42Jason Terry's physical not done yet
Jason Terry has not completed his physical as of Friday afternoon.
He looks to be the holdup to get the trade approved. Marcus Thornton and Reggie Evans will not be able to play until Terry is cleared. The Kings are expected to complete the physical by Saturday in time for both the Kings' and Nets' games.

Wed Feb 19 201414:00Jason Terry traded from Nets to Kings
Jason Terry was traded from the Nets to the Kings as part of Wednesday's three-player deal.
Terry's knee has bothered him throughout the season and he's scored double-digit points just six times all year. He went a combined 1-of-11 from the field in Brooklyn's previous three games and his outlook isn't much brighter in Sacramento, where rookie Ben McLemore will assume the starting PG job. Avoid him in standard leagues.

Wed Feb 19 201413:45Nets near deal sending Terry/Evans to Kings
The Nets and Kings are "finalizing" a trade which would send Jason Terry and Reggie Evans to Sacramento for Marcus Thornton, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Nets and Kings are "finalizing" a trade which would send Jason Terry and Reggie Evans to Sacramento for Marcus Thornton, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski. The teams are still discussing a conditional draft pick which may also be sent to Brooklyn in the deal, but the framework of the deal is locked in place. Terry hasn't been fully healthy all season and isn't likely to play enough for fantasy value in Sacramento, and Evans remains what he's always been -- a rebound specialist.

Sat Feb 8 201400:34Terry's 18 points leads bench comeback
Jason Terry scored 18 points off the bench in Friday's garbage-time loss.
Terry has more mouth than game at this stage of his career and has no fantasy value. Reggie Evans (11 and nine) and Mason Plumlee (13 and eight, one block) also got in on the free stats.

Jason Terry returned from his 15-game absence on Monday with 11 points, two boards and three 3-pointers in 15 minutes.

Sun Dec 22 201312:33Jason Terry (knee) returns to practice Sunday
Jason Terry (knee) returned to practice on Sunday.
It's been over a month since Terry played and he's suffered a few setbacks with his creaky, 36-year-old knee, but there's a good chance we'll see him back on the court this week. In 11 appearances this season he's averaging just 5.3 points on 38.9 percent shooting.

Fri Dec 20 201311:29Jason Terry (knee) rehab process going slowly
Jason Terry (knee) said on Friday his rehab process is going slowly and that he is unsure of when he will return.
This is a bit of a reversal as Terry had been present for non-contact drills on Thursday, but it's sounding as if Jet's body isn't cooperating with his rehab attempt. Even when healthy, the 36-year-old has been largely ineffective in his first season with the Nets and doesn't deserve to be on any fantasy rosters at this point.

Thu Dec 19 201313:51Jason Terry (knee) present at Thurs workout
Jason Terry (knee) was present for non-contact drills at a workout Thursday.
Terry is unlikely to play against the 76ers Friday, but could return to the court next week. While Terry carries some name cache, his impending return shouldn't have fantasy owners doing backflips. Terry has only played 11 games this season and was only averaging 5.3 points in 17.4 minutes in those contests. With numbers like those, he shouldn't even be a blip on anyone's fantasy radar even when healthy.

Jason Terry (knee) will not play on Saturday against Milwaukee.
This will be the ninth straight game Terry misses. Alan Anderson and Tyshawn Taylor will continue to get more minutes until Terry returns.
