Adam Dunn launched a walk-off homer in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

Wed Jul 3 201301:45Dunn hits 22nd homer as Sox best Orioles 5-2
Adam Dunn blasted his 22nd home run of the season, a two-run shot, as the White Sox topped the Orioles 5-2 on Tuesday.
Dunn just keeps doing his thing, as he's currently fourth in the American League with 22 homers and ninth in both RBI (54) and walks (40). He's also struck out 95 times in 272 at-bats, leading to a .199/.304/.467 line on the year. Dunn is coming off a month in which he hit nine homers and posted a .991 OPS, so it's a good time to be riding The Big Donkey.

Sun Jun 23 201317:38Dunn slugs 20th home run but White Sox lose
Adam Dunn hit his 20th home run of the season on Sunday but the White Sox lost to the Royals.
Dunn is batting just .193 with a .293 on-base percentage, but the random power outbursts have kept him plenty useful in mixed fantasy leagues. The slugger is currently on pace for 44 home runs and 107 RBI.

Tue Jun 11 201302:24Dunn (4-for-4, 2 HR, 5 RBI) powers CHW to win
Adam Dunn carried Chicago to a 10-6 shootout win over Toronto on Monday night, going 4-for-4 with a walk, two homers, five RBI and three runs scored.
Dunn has a pair of multi-hit games and three homers over his last three games. He's still hitting just .181 (up from .163 two days ago), but Dunn is fourth in the AL with 16 long flies and has collected 37 RBI in 58 games.

Wed May 22 201319:56Adam Dunn still dealing with back pain
Adam Dunn is still dealing with back pain but plans to continue playing through it.
Dunn left Saturday's game due to back spasms but was back in the lineup the next day and has remained in there each day since. The pain isn't an issue when he's swinging a bat, so he should be OK in the DH spot. "Laying down that hurts it worse and sitting down makes it stiff," Dunn said. "So, I'm sure I'll be walking around doing some stuff. Again, I never had any back problems. I don't consider this a back problem really. But I don't know. I guess it just has to run its course."

Tue May 21 201300:10Adam Dunn hits three-run homer
Adam Dunn hit a three-run homer off Jon Lester in the White Sox's victory Monday.
The home run was his second off a lefty this year. He hit 15 off southpaws last season after going without a single homer off a left-hander in 2011. Overall, Dunn has 11 homers this year. He's batting .211 with 13 RBI in 16 games this month after coming in at .148 with 12 RBI in 24 games in April.

Sun May 19 201313:11Adam Dunn (back) returns to lineup Sunday
Adam Dunn (back) is back in the White Sox' lineup Sunday.
Dunn left Saturday's game with back spasms, but he's feeling a lot better a day later. The veteran is batting .421/.450/1.158 with four homers and 10 RBI over his last five games.

Sat May 18 201318:19Dunn leaves game with back spasms Saturday
Adam Dunn left Saturday's game against the Angels due to back spasms.
Jeff Keppinger hit for the first baseman in the fifth inning. Spasms are generally a day-to-day thing, so we'll have to see how Dunn is feeling Sunday before knowing if he'll have to miss some games. It's unfortunate timing, too, as Dunn has been heating up at the plate.

Wed May 15 201316:53Adam Dunn busts out, homers twice in victory
Adam Dunn homered twice, doubled and knocked in five runs to lead the White Sox to a 9-4 win over the Twins on Wednesday.
Dunn is terribly sad to see the series against the Twins come to an end. He hit three homers in the three games, and he could have had a fourth if Aaron Hicks hadn't gone over the fence to rob him on Monday. Hopefully for the White Sox, he'll stay hot in a four-game series in Anaheim this weekend. It doesn't seem all that likely, though; he's hit .228 with just two homers in 92 at-bats against Angels pitching in his career.

Wed May 15 201300:55Dunn launches seventh homer as Sox beat Twins
Adam Dunn hit his seventh home run of the season Tuesday in the White Sox win over the Twins.
Dunn had one taken away by Twins' center fielder Aaron Hicks on Monday, but he wouldn't be foiled again Tuesday. Dunn continues to be a batting average drag, so it's nice to see him finally start to show the power from which the vast majority of his value is derived.

Sat Apr 27 201322:55Dunn hits fifth home run in loss to Rays
Adam Dunn hit his fifth home run of the season in Saturday night's loss to the Rays.
Dunn is batting just .134/.211/.341 in 22 games, but he's capable of parking one at any time and so you have to live with the other stat deficiencies. The 33-year-old DH has three home runs in his last six games.

Thu Apr 25 201323:19Adam Dunn hits two-run homer in win
Adam Dunn hit a two-run homer off Jeremy Hellickson in the White Sox's win Thursday.
Sure, Dunn is hitting .108, but at least .054 of that comes from homers (he now has four). He also walked three times Wednesday, which matched his total from his first 18 games combined. Maybe he won't bust out all of a sudden, but this makes two encouraging days in a row.

Sat Apr 20 201318:52Dunn goes 0-for-4 with three strikeouts
Adam Dunn finished 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Saturday in an extra-innings loss to the Twins.
Dunn owns a hideous .098/.154/.213 batting line in 16 games and has already fanned 23 times. He does have a pair of homers, though, and shouldn't be benched in fantasy leagues because his power can show up at any time.

Mon Apr 15 201322:34Adam Dunn goes hitless in loss to Blue Jays
Adam Dunn went 0-for-3 with a HBP from the fifth spot in the White Sox lineup on Monday.
Dunn's .128 average isn't nearly as shocking the fact that he's walked just twice in 47 at-bats this season. He can supplement the low batting average with the terrific walk rate usually, but he's hardly getting on base in any sort of fashion this year.

Tue Apr 9 201314:30Adam Dunn not in Tuesday's lineup
Adam Dunn is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Nationals.
The White Sox won't have the ability to use the DH under National League rules, so Dunn will sit Tuesday. It's not clear if he'll play in the field during the series.

Wed Apr 3 201317:06Adam Dunn hits first homer for White Sox
Adam Dunn homered, singled and scored twice against the Royals on Wednesday.
Manager Robin Ventura's surprising decision to bat Dunn fourth ahead of Paul Konerko gave his value a bit of a boost. Nothing against Konerko, but since he's terribly slow and he drives in a lot of runs himself, he's a rather tough guy to hit behind. Of course, Dunn hit ahead of Konerko last year, too, but it looked like he'd be dropped to fifth this year with Alex Rios moving up to the third spot.

Fri Mar 29 201323:41Dunn delivers two-run double in win
Adam Dunn went 3-for-3 with a two-run double and a walk in Friday's 7-2 win over the Brewers.
Dunn entered Friday's action hitting .204 this spring, equaling his batting average from last season. As long as he continues to hit home runs and draw walks, you won't hear any complaints from the White Sox or fantasy owners.

Tue Mar 19 201318:35Adam Dunn goes deep
Adam Dunn singled and launched a three-run homer Tuesday against the Reds.
The longball came in the first inning. Dunn has had a very Dunn-esque spring, batting .206 with three homers to go along with a 7/8 BB/K ratio over 34 at-bats.

Wed Feb 27 201319:26Adam Dunn nursing bruised elbow
Adam Dunn was held out of action Wednesday due to a bruised right elbow.
It's not clear when Dunn was hit with a ball, but it's not a big deal. Consider him day-to-day.
