Thu May 13 201013:48LaPorta in Thursday's lineup
Matt LaPorta is in the starting lineup Thursday for the first time since Saturday.
LaPorta is batting just .203/.263/.230 this season, so Indians manager Manny Acta has kept him out of the lineup recently in order to work with hitting coach Jon Nunnally. We'll see if it pays off. The hot-hitting Russell Branyan is out of the lineup on Thursday.

Mon Apr 26 201020:29Struggling LaPorta out of lineup
Matt LaPorta is out of the starting lineup on Monday.
LaPorta was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts on Sunday, seeing his batting average dip to .192. Given the fact that he hasn't driven in a run since the second game of the season, it's hard to blame Manny Acta for giving him a breather. Austin Kearns will start in left field and bat sixth against Jered Weaver.
