Mon Feb 6 201214:30Stephen Jackson says he is not hurt
Stephen Jackson posted a message on Twitter Sunday confirming that he isn't injured.
Jackson has been a DNP-CD in three of the last four games. "To my fans. I am not hurt. I wanna play. I love the game and my teammates too much. Fyi," he wrote. There are no signs that coach Scott Skiles plans on making Jackson a real part of his rotation again anytime soon.

Sun Feb 5 201200:52Stephen Jackson picks up another DNP-CD
Stephen Jackson picked up another DNP-CD on Saturday, his third in four games.
Jackson and Scott Skiles reportedly had a "good conversation" on Wednesday, but that hasn't translated to playing time for the disgruntled veteran. This isn't likely to end happily, at least not until Jackson is traded. There are no indications that he'll suddenly rejoin the lineup as a 30-minute player.

Thu Feb 2 201214:11Stephen Jackson, Skiles have a chat
Scott Skiles and Stephen Jackson had a "good conversation" prior to Wednesday's win over the Heat.
Jackson got back in the rotation on Wednesday night, playing nine minutes. The fact remains that right now, the Bucks are playing better basketball when Jackson is on the bench. In games he's played nine minutes or less this year, they are 4-0. In all other games, they are 6-11. A trade is an ideal outcome here, but one doesn't appear imminent.

Thu Feb 2 201201:05Stephen Jackson plays nine minutes in win
Stephen Jackson returned from a suspension and DNP-CD on Wednesday, but played just nine minutes and failed to score.
Jackson should be benched until further notice, while Carlos Delfino had 11 points, and Mike Dunleavy scored 10. Dunleavy looks like the best bet of these three right now, but if Jackson gets back into the mix, it's going to be a fantasy mess for all three.

Wed Feb 1 201200:01Jackson frustrated, but no trade demand yet
Stephen Jackson is frustrated after his DNP-CD on Monday, but has not requested a trade, according to Hoopsworld's Alex Kennedy.
Jackson has been suspended by both the league and the Bucks for two games this season, and could be looking at another DNP-CD on Wednesday. Just park him on your bench until this shakes out, as a trade could be coming. And if you can grab Mike Dunleavy, he is playing well and should benefit as long as Jackson is sitting in Scott Skiles' doghouse.

Tue Jan 31 201215:06Stephen Jackson practices, may not play
Stephen Jackson practiced on Tuesday but coach Scott Skiles hinted that another DNP-CD may be coming Wednesday.
On Monday night, Jackson made comments that suggested a trade may be in the works. Skiles had this to say when asked if S-Jax will be in the rotation Wednesday: "We're game by game with basically everything we're doing now. ... We're playing pretty well right now so I'm going to make the best decisions I can to stick with what's working." Jackson hasn't played a single minute in the last two games and the Bucks are 2-0.

Tue Jan 31 201214:03Stephen Jackson disgruntled once again
Stephen Jackson hinted that his "situation" is going to change soon after taking a DNP-CD on Monday night.
It sounds like Jackson might be expecting a trade. "I ain't surprised. They know how I feel. It ain't no secret," Jackson said. "My situation is going to get better soon. But until then I'm going to support these guys and continue to collect my check." The Bucks current plans for S-Jax are unknown, but it doesn't look like they have much interest in giving him minutes right now.

Mon Jan 30 201222:07S-Jax brought into Dwight Howard rumors
Ric Bucher said on Monday that the Nets' chances of landing Dwight Howard would improve if they acquire disgruntled Stephen Jackson from the Bucks.
Jackson was suspended for one game on Saturday and has yet to see the floor on Monday, and we doubt he will. Bucher also said that the Nets were in the lead to obtain Howard, but until trade talks heat up all of this can be taken with a grain of salt. We'd like to hear at least one other source confirm the Nets' interest in Jackson before we start discussing him as an option there, though admittedly the destination would be about as good as could be expected for Jackson's owners.

Mon Jan 30 201203:26Stephen Jackson should return for Bucks
Stephen Jackson served a one-game suspension on Saturday and should return to his role off the bench for the Bucks on Monday against the Pistons.
Jackson has been hit or miss this season, but can be started with the Bucks playing four times in Week 6. He had 10 points on Friday, before being ejected, and scored 20 on Wednesday, making him a decent fantasy option this week, despite coming off the bench.

Sat Jan 28 201216:39Stephen Jackson suspended one game
Stephen Jackson has been suspended one game for verbally abusing officials and failure to leave the court in a timely manner after a meltdown on Friday night.
Jackson's season is not off to a great start, but the signs of him coming around are there. He's scored 10 & 20 points in his last two games after failing to score on Monday. He'll miss Saturday's game against the Lakers, which will mean more minutes for Shaun Livingston, Mike Dunleavy and Carlos Delfino. Get Jackson out of your lineup.

Thu Jan 26 201200:21Stephen Jackson finally breaks out for Bucks
Stephen Jackson came off the bench again on Wednesday, but blew up for 20 points, three 3-pointers, two steals and a block on 8-of-16 shooting in 30 minutes.
Finally. He didn't even score on Monday and this could be a sign that he's starting to get along better with Scott Skiles. And with Andrew Bogut set to miss a couple games with a sprained ankle, the Bucks will need scorers. Get Jackson back in your lineup if you've had him on the bench.

Tue Jan 24 201204:26Jackson goes scoreless off the bench
Stephen Jackson took just one shot and did not score in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Hawks.
We haven't gone to the tape yet but one has to wonder how hard Jackson was trying in his new bench role. In a battle of stubborn people, this relationship has gone south even faster than we could have ever imagined. Owners will want to hold to see where this goes.

Mon Jan 23 201214:50Jackson says he's fine as bench player
Stephen Jackson said Sunday night that he is fine with his current bench role.
Jackson has to be fine with it for now because the Bucks have won two straight games. The first game he was inactive due to suspension and the second game they won in Miami as he played 26 minutes off the bench. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm about winning. I'm not about nothing else," Jackson said. For now, we can't expect more than 25-29 minutes per game while Shaun Livingston starts.

Sun Jan 22 201220:55Stephen Jackson plays 26 minutes off bench
Returning after a one-game disciplinary absence, Stephen Jackson came off Milwaukee's bench for 10 points, two 3s, four rebounds, one assist and four turnovers in 26 minutes.
Jackson is shooting a miserable 36.8 percent from the field this season, his lowest mark in a career full of ugly percentages. He's also averaging more turnovers (3.6) than assists (3.4), and scoring fewer points (13.7) than he has since 2002-03 with the Spurs. The Bucks have enough depth, and Scott Skiles has enough conviction, that Jackson could be in the doghouse for a while.

Sun Jan 22 201217:18Stephen Jackson will come off bench vs. Miami
Stephen Jackson will return tonight from a one-game suspension against the Heat, but will not start.
Coach Scott Skiles reportedly liked what he saw from Shaun Livingston on Friday night, and will give him another start against Miami. It's definitely a situation to monitor closely, but we aren't too concerned about Jackson yet.

Fri Jan 20 201217:31Jackson not suspended, but will still sit out
Updating a previous item, Stephen Jackson has not been officially suspended for Friday night's Bucks game, however he will not play after missing the bus to the team's shootaround.
Jackson was only fined, not suspended, but Captain Jack will sit out the game regardless. Shaun Livingston will get the spot start against the Knicks.

Fri Jan 20 201211:23Stephen Jackson suspended for Friday's game
Stephen Jackson has been suspended by Scott Skiles one game for missing the bus to shootaround and will not play on Friday.
Skiles and Jackson had downplayed their controversy on Thursday, but Jackson won't play on Friday. The frustrating season for Jackson and his owners continues, as he's averaging just 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.5 steals on a career-low 36.8 percent shooting. Shaun Livingston will draw the start at shooting guard in his place.

Wed Jan 18 201212:27Scott Skiles benched Jackson due to 'fatigue'
Coach Scott Skiles said he benched Stephen Jackson Tuesday night because he "looked fatigued, I guess."
Jackson did not play a single minute in the second half after going 0-of-6 from the field in the first half. Jackson certainly didn't sound fatigued or happy after the game. "If they want to blame it on somebody, I'll take the blame. ... I don't know what they were trying to prove," he said. Skiles said that Andrew Bogut was also benched late for the same reason. We suspect this is just a random jolt from Skiles in an effort to spark his team. Both should be in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Knicks.

Tue Jan 17 201223:55Stephen Jackson struggles, benched in loss
Stephen Jackson missed all six of his shots and scored just two points in 17 minutes on Tuesday.
Like teammate Andrew Bogut, there are no reports of an injury for Jackson, and it looks like he was just benched. Rookie Tobias Harris started the second half and played very well tonight, but we're guessing Jackson returns to form on Friday at New York.
