Sat Nov 2 201323:05Jarrett Jack quiet in loss to Pacers
Jarrett Jack played 24 minutes and hit 4-of-8 shots for eight points, two rebounds, three assists, two steals and four turnovers as the Cavaliers fell to the Pacers, his former team.
Jack didn't have it going tonight, nor did most of his teammates. But he's off to a good start this season and is still trying to get back to full strength after a knee injury. If you can hold onto him, we recommend doing so.

Jarrett Jack played 23 minutes and hit 3-of-6 shots for 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, a steal and a 3-pointer in Wednesday's win.
The Cavs love Jack and he's working his way back to health from a knee injury. He'll likely get off to a slow start, but looks like a nice buy-low target in fantasy.

Wed Oct 23 201320:35Jarrett Jack (knee) plays well in return
Jarrett Jack returned to the lineup on Wednesday and looked good with five points, five assists and one 3-pointer in 10 minutes against the Wizards.
He didn't turn the ball over and shot 2-of-4 from the field. Jack didn't play in the second half after his 10-day hiatus with cartilage irritation. He should get minutes at both guard spots behind Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters as the sixth man and is worth a pick late in drafts.

Wed Oct 23 201312:17Jarrett Jack (knee) will return vs. Wizards
Jarrett Jack (knee) will return from injury and start alongside Kyrie Irving on Wednesday.
It's doubtful that he'd appear in back-to-back games fresh off an injury, so don't be surprised if he sits out Thursday's preseason finale. He's starting with Dion Waiters (knee) unavailable, but during the season he'll serve as the first guard off the bench and allow Kyrie to play off the ball for stretches.

Tue Oct 15 201317:41Jarrett Jack not concerned with knee issues
Mike Brown said Jarrett Jack (knee) could play if his knee inflammation occurred during the playoffs.
He's going to be out for 10 days with some cartilage irritation, so he should be ready to start the year. Jack will serve in a similar role with the Cavs as he did with the Warriors last year, but he might not be able to duplicate his stats in a slower system.

Mon Oct 14 201316:03Jarrett Jack out 10 days w/ knee inflammation
Jarrett Jack will be held out of action for 10 days due to left knee inflammation.
He's dealt with a handful of knee injuries and the most recent was in last year's preseason. Specifically, he's dealing with some cartilage irritation and the injury is not considered serious. Given his previous knee issues, we'd still bump him down in our rankings even though he should be ready to start the season.

Sat Jul 6 201316:57Jarrett Jack agrees with Cavs for four years
Jarrett Jack agreed to a four-year, $25 million contract with the Cavs on Saturday.
The Warriors renounced his Bird Rights and wasn't expected to be back with the signing of Andre Iguodala. The Cavs didn't have much backcourt help with Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters last year, so this is a great landing spot for Jack. He gets a nice bump from his $4.5 million salary last season and his big postseason was probably a part of it, shooting 50.6 percent from the field for 17.2 points per game. Kyrie Irving is a bit injury prone and Jack will have some stand-alone fantasy value, so he'll be worth your attention in the later rounds of standard drafts.

Fri Jul 5 201316:58Jarrett Jack done with Warriors
The Warriors have renounced their Bird Rights on free agent G Jarrett Jack.
By signing Andre Iguodala, the Warriors slammed the door shut on a possible reunion between the Warriors and Jack. He'll attract plenty of interest on the open market after impressively averaging 12.0 points, 5.5 assists and 3.1 rebounds in a bench role last year. The Mavericks would be a very nice fit.

Mon Jul 1 201316:56Mavs, Nuggets, Warriors reach out to J. Jack
Unrestricted free agent Jarrett Jack has reportedly been contacted by the Mavericks, Nuggets and Warriors.
Jack is bound to land a big contract after his excellent 2012-13 season, in which he averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 0.8 steals in 29 minutes per game. He also hit 40.4 percent of his 3-pointers and has sneaky fantasy value, especially if he lands with a team (like the Mavericks) in need of a starting PG.

Thu May 23 201317:27Report: Mavs will target Jack, Bayless as FAs
The Mavericks will be interested in free-agent point guards Jarrett Jack and Jerryd Bayless, a source tells Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Both players were integral parts of their team's playoff success, Jack for the Warriors and Bayless with the Grizzlies, who are down 2-0 to the Spurs. Jack and Bayless are also due hefty raises this offseason with Jack possibly commanding as much as $10 million annually. The Mavs are in desperate need of an upgrade at point guard and could look at Jack or Bayless as fallback options if they fail to land Chris Paul. One thing's for sure, the Mavs' fervent interest in free-agent guards doesn't bode well for incumbent Darren Collison.

Tue May 21 201309:05Warriors hoping to retain Jarrett Jack
Bob Myers is hopeful the Warriors can work out a way to re-sign unrestricted free agent Jarrett Jack.
Jack proved his value to the Warriors this season and professed his love for the team, but he's going to draw a ton of interest in free agency and may have priced himself out of the Warriors' plans. Jack could command as much as $7-$10 million annually on the open market, especially if a team needs a starting point guard, and the Warriors have their hands tied in how much cash they can throw at him. If the Warriors lose Jack, it will be very difficult to replace him.

Sat May 18 201309:49Steph Curry says 'this is the place' for Jack
Stephan Curry said he's been trying to convince Jarrett Jack to re-sign with Golden State for a while.
"This is the place for him," Curry said. "He's bounced around a lot. For him to have hopefully found a home here for the foreseeable future would be huge. I know he wants to be part of a winning team, and I think we have that here now." Jack, who is scheduled to be a free agent again this summer, apparently agrees. The veteran point guard reiterated after Golden State's Game 6 loss that he clearly wants to be back in Golden State. The question is whether the Warriors can afford to give Jack the raise he'll definitely be looking to get.

Fri May 17 201309:42Jarrett Jack reiterates desire to stay w/ GSW
Jarrett Jack reiterated his desire to return to the Warriors after the Game 6 loss to the Spurs.
"Usually before I would do any media, I would make sure I was dressed a certain way. I brought one of my best suits. But looking down at this jersey, it's just a sense of pride I don't think I've ever felt as a professional. . Nothing in my closet is better than what I have on now," Jack said. It's an emotional statement, but a telling one considering how much Jack went on the record about loving the Warriors this year. Jack's future is uncertain as an unrestricted free agent looking for a raise.

Fri May 17 201301:32Jarrett Jack scores 15 points in 32 minutes
Jarrett Jack scored 15 points with two boards, one assist, two steals and no turnovers in 32 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday.
His contract is up and he'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Jack made it clear that he's capable of being a starting point guard and was one of the best sixth men in the NBA. The Warriors and Jack haven't made much progress in bringing him back, so he could be on a new team for next season.

Fri May 3 201309:23Report: Jarrett Jack shut down extension talk
Jarrett Jack shut down contract extension talks with the Warriors during the season, multiple sources told the Contra Costa Times.
The Warriors apparently broached Jack during the season, but he chose to focus on this year and wait until the offseason to focus on his contract. By doing so, he's earned himself more money and it will be very difficult for the Warriors to retain him. Jack is a proven difference-maker off the bench, and has the report notes, he's been an "integral part of the Warriors' success this season."

Tue Apr 30 201323:10Jarrett Jack tweaks ankle in Game 5 loss
Jarrett Jack twisted his ankle late in Game 5, but stayed in the game to finish with 20 points, six boards, five assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 7-of-16 shooting.
He also had six turnovers, but at least his ankle injury doesn't appear to be too serious. Check back for updates on his status prior to Thursday's Game 6 at Golden State.

Mon Apr 29 201309:09Jarrett Jack not thinking about free agency
Jarrett Jack is not thinking about his impending free agency.
"I believe everything will work out," he said. "I want to be here and if they want me here, it will work out." The Warriors face financial hurdles in retaining Jack long-term after the season he's had, and there will be plenty of clubs that show at least a preliminary interest in Jack when he hits the open market.

Jarrett Jack hit 8-of-9 shots, 1-of-1 3-pointers and 4-of-4 free throws for 21 points, five rebounds, nine assists and a block in Sunday's impressive Game 4 win over the Nuggets.

Carl Landry also got it done in limited action, racking up 17 points and one rebound in just 18 minutes. The Warriors are clearly in control with a 3-1 lead, but have to face the Nuggets in Denver on Tuesday.

Fri Apr 26 201314:37Jarrett Jack will start if Curry can't go
The Warriors confirmed that Jarrett Jack will start if Steph Curry (ankle) can't play Friday.
Curry is hopeful he'll be able to play, but he's shaping up as a true game-time call. "It would kill me," he said of not playing. The Warriors do have one of the best backup point guards in the league in Jack. In four starts this year, he averaged 18.8 points, 8.3 assists and 2.5 rebounds as Golden State went 2-2.
