Thu Nov 8 201222:12Hasheem Thabeet leaves Thursday's game
Hasheem Thabeet suffered a mild left ankle sprain in Thursday's game and has been cleared to return.
He tried to stay in the game and he was able to make it back to the locker room under his own power without much of a limp. It doesn't appear to be serious since he's already back on the bench. Thabeet is getting some playing time with 14.8 minutes per game entering tonight's game. He left with no points and two boards in 10 minutes.

Wed Oct 31 201209:32Thunder like what Hasheem Thabeet brings
Scott Brooks is "confident" that Hasheem Thabeet "can do a very good job" this season.
Brooks made the comments in praise of Thabeet explaining why the team felt comfortable trading Cole Aldrich in the James Harden deal, but it would be a huge surprise to see the former second overall pick appears on the fantasy radar. He averaged 5.6 points, 4.6 boards and 1.0 blocks in 16 minutes per game during the preseason.

Mon Sep 17 201209:37Thabeet excited for new chance with Thunder
Hasheem Thabeet called joining the Thunder "a great opportunity."
Every situation in the past doesn't really matter," he said. "The present is what I've got to face." Thabeet will have to prove that he's capable of contributing after looking extraordinarily raw to date in his career, and he'll certainly be on the team with a guaranteed salary of $1.2 million. Thabeet is third on the depth chart.

Mon Jul 16 201209:33Report: Thabeet's contract for 3 years w/ OKC
Hasheem Thabeet's contract with the Thunder is reportedly for three years and $3.65 million.
It was previously reported that Thabeet would get a two-year deal, but the former No. 2 overall pick apparently got a three-year deal. However, OKC can cut ties with Thabeet after one year if it doesn't work out as just the first season and $500,000 in year two is guaranteed on Thabeet's contract.

Wed Jul 4 201223:20Thunder land free agent C Haseem Thabeet
The Thunder have agreed to a two-year deal with free agent center Hasheem Thabeet, who will join his fourth team since being drafted in 2009.
Thabeet has been quite a bust after being the No. 2 pick in 2009 and hasn't averaged more than 13 minutes per game, which happened in his rookie season. Maybe things will change in OKC, but we're not holding our breath for Thabeet to ever be worth drafting in fantasy leagues.

Sun Jul 1 201214:43Thunder, Mavs interested in Hasheem Thabeet
Unrestricted FA Hasheem Thabeet has drawn interest from the Mavericks and Thunder, and Oklahoma City is reportedly "the most likely landing spot."
The book on Thabeet has barely changed since he was drafted No. 2 overall in 2009 -- he has tremendous physical specs but is very raw, and he's never averaged more than 13 minutes per game in his career (as a rookie with Memphis).

Thu Apr 19 201201:45Hasheem Thabeet scores four in start
Hasheem Thabeet started for Joel Przybilla (ankle) on Wednesday and had four points, six rebounds and a block in 17 minutes.
The Blazers are going to do some heavy experimenting the rest of the way and Thabeet could continue to start. But unless you're desperate for blocks, he's not going to do enough to help most fantasy teams.

Mon Mar 19 201214:08Thabeet, Flynn to play on Tuesday
Hasheem Thabeet and Jonny Flynn are expected to be available for Tuesday's game against the Bucks.
All trades completed last Thursday are now official. Thabeet's exact role is unclear, but we do know that he doesn't have much competition at the center spot. Joel Przybilla and Kurt Thomas have been manning the position since Marcus Camby was dealt.

Thu Mar 15 201215:25Hasheem Thabeet now a Blazer
The Blazers acquired Hasheem Thabeet as part of the Marcus Camby trade.
It's Thabeet's third team in three seasons, a sign that he doesn't "get it." However, he is 7'3/263, has elite shot-blocking ability and was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2009 draft. We suspect Joel Przybilla will start at center for the Blazers, but that's not a long-term solution. Thabeet should get a chance, making him someone to watch in deeper formats.

Wed Jan 25 201216:25Rockets won't pick up Thabeet option
The Rockets are not planning to pick up the fourth-year option on Hasheem Thabeet.
No shock here. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2009 Draft has been a major NBA bust, and has appeared in just two games for the Rockets this season.

Mon Dec 26 201118:34Hasheem Thabeet inactive for Rockets
Hasheem Thabeet is inactive for the Rockets against the Magic on Monday.
Samuel Dalembert hasn't practiced with his new team yet, Patrick Patterson is out with an ankle injury and Dwight Howard is the opposing center. The fact that Kevin McHale doesn't think he can use Thabeet giving all of this is a really, really bad sign for his future. There's no reason to own him in fantasy.

Sun Dec 11 201123:57Thabeet an amnesty waiver possibility
Rockets C Hasheem Thabeet is a serious amnesty waiver candidate, although it doesn't sound like he's been waived yet.
Twitter is bouncing with rumors that Thabeet has been released, but we've not seen it made official yet. It may depend on what free agent big man they get via free agency, but it does sound like Thabeet's days in Houston are numbered. He was taken with the No. 2 pick in the No. 2 pick in the 2009 draft, and has been a complete bust.

Mon Apr 11 201110:01Rockets recall Hasheem Thabeet from D-League
With the addition of Marcus Cousin, the Rockets will recall Hasheem Thabeet from the D-League for the final games of the season.
Thabeet will be lucky if he finds any time on the court.

Mon Mar 21 201117:21Thabeet sent to D-League by Rockets
Rockets center Hasheem Thabeet has been sent down the the D-League.
Thabeet remains a project player, and the playoff-hungry Rockets would rather develop him in the D-League than have him watch games in the NBA.

Wed Mar 2 201110:22Thabeet could get reps in the NBADL
Hasheem Thabeet may get a stint in the NBADL so the Rockets can evaluate him.
The Rockets are trying to make a push for the playoffs and have no room to see what Thabeet has. The problem is that they have to decide whether to pick up the $5.12 million on Thabeet's contract for the 2011-12 season.
