G Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 23 points and eight assists. Teague scored 14 consecutive points to increase Atlanta's lead to 79-57 with 5:42 remaining in the third. "When Jeff (Teague) is aggressive and attacking, it can collapse the defense and create opportunities," coach Mike Budenholzer said.

Teague averaged 15.9 points, 1.0 three-pointers, 2.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 0.4 blocks, and 1.7 steals in 31 minutes per game through 73 games in 2014-15.
At 27 years-old, the six-year NBA veteran is under team control through 2016-17. Teague averaged his second-best career rebounds, assists, and points total this season, becoming an All-Star for the first time. He had a fairly efficient year, shooting 46 percent from the field, 34 percent from three, and 86 percent from the free-throw line. Next season, Teague will be a starter for the Hawks barring injury, and should play similar minutes with similar production. Teague is a top tier fantasy player in any league.

Teague scored a playoff-high 30 points (9-23 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-9 FT) with six rebounds and seven assists in 43 minutes in the overtime loss to Cleveland in Game 3 on Sunday.
Teague was aggressive offensively and gave the Hawks a 2-point lead by hitting a 3-pointer with 55 seconds remaining. Atlanta would not score again. He has averaged 23.0 points and will look to extend the series past its minimum on Tuesday in Game 4.

He and Al Horford were the only two Hawks to really show up on Wednesday, as Atlanta gave away their home court advantage in the series. Teague will try to rally the troops on Friday for Game 2.

Teague scored 26 points (9-20 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT) to go along with four rebounds, eight assists, two steals and one block in 32 minutes in Game 4 Monday against the Wizards.
Teague came up big offensively Monday to help the Hawks tie the series and regain home court advantage. Don't expect him to score this much consistently, but he certainly has the ability to go off like this on any given night.

Teague (ankle) went scoreless (0-5 FG) in Game 6 against the Nets but added one rebound, 13 assists, two steals, and one block in 24 minutes of action.
Teague had a minor ankle sprain in Game 5 but wasn't in danger of missing any games. Although his performance was apparently affected Friday, it appears he'll be good to go moving forward.
Fri May 1 201519:40Jeff Teague: (Ankle) Will Start In Game 6
Teague (ankle) will start in Friday's Game 6 against the Nets.
Teague suffered a minor ankle injury during Game 5 but isn't apparently dealing with any lingering effects ahead of Game 6. As a result, he seems to be in line for his normal compliment of minutes against the Nets on Friday.

Teague (ankle) has headed to Atlanta's locker room with an apparent ankle injury, but will return to the game, Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reports.
Teague limped to the locker room favoring his right leg after rolling his ankle by landing on Brook Lopez's foot. He went straight to the locker room following the injury but he will be able to return.

Teague scored 19 points (7-17 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT) to go along with five rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 34 minutes Monday against the Knicks.
Teague returned after resting Sunday, but it's unclear if the Hawks will rest their starters in their final game Wednesday against the Bulls. Even if he does play, it might only be for limited minutes.
Sun Apr 12 201516:49Jeff Teague: (Rest) Will Not Play Sunday
Teague (rest) will not play in Sunday's game against the Wizards, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
The Hawks are resting all of their normal starters Sunday so a ragtag bunch will take the court against the Wizards. The next opportunity for Teague to play will be against the Knicks on Monday.

Teague (ankle) scored eight points (2-8 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) to go along with four rebounds, nine assists and five turnovers in 29 minutes Monday against the Bucks.
Although Teague was able to return Monday, he didn't see extended minutes. The Hawks are just trying to get healthy and be ready for the playoffs, so expect Teague to be rested or at least play limited minutes at times over the rest of the regular season.
Mon Mar 30 201518:55Teague (ankle) will start Monday against Bucks
Teague (ankle) will start Monday against the Bucks, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.
Teague sat out both Friday and Saturday due to a bum ankle, but he'll return to action Monday in Milwaukee. The Hawks will likely keep an eye on his minutes, however, as there is really no incentive to risk any aggravation of the ankle injury given the team's position atop the Eastern Conference.
Mon Mar 30 201512:27Jeff Teague: (Ankle) Expected To Play Monday
Teague (ankle) is expected to play Monday against the Bucks, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Teague skipped the last two contests due to a tender ankle, but it appears the added rest was enough for him to rejoin the lineup Monday. The Hawks have little to play for the rest of the way, so the club is expected to rest starters intermittently.
Sat Mar 28 201514:26Jeff Teague: (Ankle) Out Saturday
Teague (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game, the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Chris Vivlamore reports.
The Hawks have no real incentive to play Teague unless he is 100 percent healthy, as they have already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs. This makes Dennis Schroder a strong play in all formats Saturday.
Fri Mar 27 201512:19Jeff Teague: (Ankle) Ruled Out Friday
Teague (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Heat due to a "tender ankle," the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "Jeff is tender and will not play tonight," coach Mike Budenholzer said. "He is not able to go. We will just wait and see how it goes and err on the side of caution. We'll see how he does today."
With a playoff spot locked up and a comfortable lead on second-place Cleveland, the Hawks are just being cautious with their starting point guard as they begin a four-games-in-five-nights set. Dennis Schroder will get the start at point guard in Teague's place.

Teague scored 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt) with nine assists, three rebounds and a steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Magic.
He briefly left the court in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but quickly returned and recorded his usual useful fantasy numbers. The ankle issue doesn't appear to be serious, but with the Eastern Conference-leading Hawks looking firmly towards the postseason, don't be too surprised if Teague gets another night off Friday against the Heat.

Teague scored 23 points (6-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 9-11 FT) with six assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block in 36 minutes during Monday's win over the Kings.
He certainly appeared refreshed after resting on Sunday, as it was just the second time in his last 13 games Teague has scored 20 or more points. His numbers have tailed off a bit after his excellent start to the season, but the Hawks' point guard is still having a fine campaign.
Mon Mar 16 201520:58Jeff Teague: (Rest) Starting Monday
Teague (rest) is starting Monday's game at Sacramento, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
After a one-game absence in order to rest, Teague will return to his place as the Hawks' starting point guard. In his previous four appearances, he averaged 12.8 points (on 44 percent shooting), 7.3 dimes, 2.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 0.8 three-pointers in 29 minutes.
Sun Mar 15 201519:43Jeff Teague: (Rest) Out Sunday Night
Teague (rest) will not play in Sunday's game against the Lakers, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
DeMarre Carroll and Paul Millsap will join Teague on the sidelines, with Dennis Schroder and Kent Bazemore likely to step into the starting lineup. Millsap's replacement is somewhat less clear, with Mike Scott (toe) sidelined for the next four-to-six weeks. Teague will likely be back for Monday's game in Sacramento, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Al Horford and Kyle Korver get the night off.
Sat Mar 14 201500:29Teague held to just eight points for second straight game Friday...
Teague was held to just eight points for his second straight game Friday, shooting 4-for-13 from the floor. He did manage to pick up nine assists and a steal in 29 minutes.
This is just a slump for Teague, who had scored 16 or more points in each of his first four games in March. Teague is also salvaging his fantasy value by picking up assists despite his low scoring totals. In his past two games, he has a combined three steals and 12 assists.
